Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Privacy at its best. Primitive camping with space to stretch out and relax. Enjoy the tranquility of nature on a wooded lot with a private clearing just for you. Pitch a tent or bring your camper—I bring mine as seen in the photos and run a generator. Very convenient to Lake Gaston Day Use Area and the Roanoke Rapids River for fishing, about 6 minutes away. It is also about 12 minutes from the city of Roanoke Rapids for restaurants and shopping, with easy highway access to Interstate 95.The open area in the back of the property yours to set up your gear, access to about an acre of free for your use

This is not a paved road so weather may affect your driving conditions getting in and out of the lot. We are working to clear more area to access in and out easier.
