Pedro and Gracie Torres opened the 90+ acre ranch for lessons, clinics, horse shows, and more in December of 2017. Built by Mr. Goff many moons ago, Cavvietta Quarter Horse & Cattle Co. is carrying on his tradition of helping the community and providing entertainment for those of all ages who enjoy horses and/or the great outdoors! Please check out our website and event schedule prior to booking if you’re looking for a quiet stay—some of our events can run until 11pm or so. The camping area is a big grassy space surrounded by horse and cattle pasture and across from a riding arena where you can watch riders working with their horses. There are loose dogs and cats onsite, so if bringing pets make sure to monitor, but they’re more than welcome! The ranch is also home to horses, cattle, chickens, guineas, and more! For the safety of you and the critters, please don’t pet (and please don’t feed) any horses or cattle without supervision from ranch staff. If you get up with us, we will happily arrange a lesson or introduce you to a horse! There are a few portable potties on the ranch that you are welcome to use. There are also water hoses within walking distance, though this is more of a minimal facility dry-camp situation. We are happy to try to accommodate any way possible, so if you have any needs please reach out! We do have 2 rental dwellings if you’re looking for a way to get some glamping in. They have open floor plans (sleeping 2 or 6), each with one private bathroom. Please let us know if you have any questions!

A fascinating and peaceful visit! Hosts were kind and helpful. There was a rodeo the second night, which was fun and well-organized.

I loved staying here , it was so nice ! I love seeing the cattle and horses , park right at the corner and I watch the sunrise and sunset! I saw some fowls and ducks too ! And petting a little kitty on my way to the loo. The horse near the fence likes to come over and say hello ! Haha it took all of me not to pet them ! Careful on the drive into the ranch it’s very bumpy ! On my 2wd! I had my goldfish on my trip , he almost flew out ! Haha

Great experience at Gracie’s farm. The camping area next to the arena makes it easy to watch folks riding and working the horses. My daughter and I took a riding lesson in the morning that was a ton of fun; definitely recommend it if you stay. That being said it is a working farm so expect to have folks coming in and out to load/unload horses near the camping area.

Overall the location was great, nice clear communication and directions, easy to get to. Nice grassy area to pitch our tent on. Unfortunately the porta-pottie was smelly and didn't feel very clean, and the camp area was lit up by nearby lights as we were going to sleep (turned off later).

A great stay at the farm. We also booked a lesson for our two of the kids and it was great! Thanks for hosting and making this available for use. The site was level and tons of room in an open field.
