Passed down from previous generations, my father used his landowning opportunity to create a space of refuge for family and friends. Now that my brother and I are continuing his legacy, we wish to expand the definition of Family and Friends to You! Proudly black owned and family operated, Ross’ is a space for refocusing, re-centering, and grounding your thoughts about life. Come take part in an opportunity to support local and grow small. Take part in you!If privacy and seclusion are a must, booking at Ross’ is the ideal option! Beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, access to thought out amenities are all a click away! Oh and…we have Paintball! Make it a stay you won’t forget! Amenities include marshmallow bundles, s’more bundles, bonfire site, paddle boats, fishing, picnic area, access to an indoor building, and walking trails. Dumping site address available upon request.

A great boondocking or dry camping location. Very secluded andquiet. I spent four days there. Shopping and gas five minutes away. If you need a place off rates 13/17 in NC outside of Windsor, N C. Check this place out .

It was Very Quiet and peaceful.......we wasn't sure where to set up so we just stayed by the pervillion. But we enjoyed it very much .

Very peaceful place to stop for the night! I parked on level grass (was told I could pick anywhere) in my Class C RV. It was easy to find and I spoke with Sonona on the phone when I got there. I was the only camper, and my cat enjoyed being able to roam while I enjoyed a beautiful sunset and hearing the birdsong. This place is a gem and I’d definitely stay again!

The property was nice. The grass was not mowed and the pond needed some help. Clean up the weeds around the pound, AND THERE WAS ANT NEST ALL THE PROPERTY. STAY ONE NIGHT MY DOGS GOT BIT. THE HOST WAS VERY NICE, SHE NEEDS SOME HELP TO GET HER PROPERTY BACK WHERE IT WAS. DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURES THAT HIPCAMP GAVE ME

Super cool spot! We were the only ones here so we got to choose our own space. Unfortunately the weather was gross and we did not stay for very long to enjoy some of the perks - but there are plenty to be had! I would return

There was a lot of space to spread out and camp, a campfire setting was available and there was a small pond. I barely left the tent due to the chilly weather but it was a great stay!

Nature Retreat ❤️

Amazing place if you need a break from the City’s madness and get back in touch with your true self and nature. 🙏🥰🙏 Phone (AT&T) works fine for us who need to keep working and Debra is an adorable and very respectful regarding to her guests’ space! 🥰🐶🐱 Potable water and kindness are available in abundance. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Quiet and Enjoyable

Sonoma was very helpful. This place was very quiet and had lots of places to walk the dog. It was very easy to get to. The grass was manicured very nicely! I would go back for sure. What a bargain!

Paddle and play

Tent

Beautiful slice of nature , this site is slightly rustic and very easy to find . There are lots of sweet spaces to relax on the land including the ponds ( paddle boat rental recommended ) , picnic area or back lot . There is tons of space so the whole family can definitely come and camp in separate spaces . The stars at night are beautiful and it’s super quiet during the night although the campsite is close to the road .

Camping with amenities

The camp site had nice open spaces to choose for tent sites and the grass was cut nicely.. There were plenty of tables and grilling areas to choose which included well covered area. So grateful for the lights and large fan in the grilling area since the temperature was in the 90’s. We would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for safe clean campsite with lots of accommodations.

Nothing was ready when we got there (pool was green, extra amenities weren’t prepared) and we waited for over two hours for the host to arrive after our check in time. There was another party on the property that the host let us know about and they were also waiting around for the host. It did storm us out on our visit so we got a refund, but I would not be trying to come back. It was very underwhelming for the two hour drive we took to get there.
