Well maintained site with a fire pit, multiple fishing ponds, and a clear view of the night sky. One of the best places I’ve camped. Highly recommend this site.

Abegail’s farm is a true joy. Perfect bit of peace nested close to a number of coastal attractions. We will be back when we can stay longer.
This site was just what I needed for the night. The setting was beautiful and easy to get to. It was so nice being sandwiched between the 2 ponds. The bugs were large and numerous enough to carry you off, but that was not unexpected based on other reviews. Overall a very nice spot and one I would use again as a stop over going from the Outer Banks.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Evan’s family farm. Beautiful peaceful land with 3 ponds that were great for fishing. Abegail is a great host and quick with responses. We arrived late at night and it wasn’t a problem at all. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful location. We brought our two little kids and dog and had a fantastic time. The Evans family is very friendly and welcomed us onto the property.
There were plenty of spots to pull up to with flat areas for pitching a tent and multiple fire rings well spaced out. Would definitely come back.
Great place to be and great people!
Super easy and right at the water
If you haven't been you are missing out. Great host. Awesome bass fishing. A little bit of heaven on earth.

We enjoy our time there! The campsite was very leveled and spacious for our 4 trucks, 4 tents, and 2 gazebos. We went at the end of spring and didn’t notice any bugs. My husband especially enjoyed kayak fishing in the pond!
We stayed Friday through Sunday. Saturday morning, we were quite surprised how many locals came to fish the pond too. A few people parked near our campsite and even walked though it. Everybody was friendly, however we enjoy using hipcamp for its secluded appeal.

Camping on Abegail’s land in our class c motorhome was beautiful and peaceful. The views and quiet are wonderful, and the hosts were friendly and helpful.
Absolutely amazing place and amazing hosts. Had a great time surround by peace and beauty with a touch of excitement. I would definitely be returning.

This was a great place to camp and was pretty relaxing camping next to the water. Their dogs are very friendly and was nice they visited every so often. Water views are great and even caught three fish. If I had to critique anything, the sites could be labeled better. Didn't really know what was a site amd what wasn't. Only other thing is the geese kept woke me up a few times through the night, but can't do anything about that. All in all, I'd go back.
Hands down one of the best hidden gems on the way to OBX. Their dog Fischer greeted us immediately, such a friendly pup, and friendly host/family. The lot is spacious, and the ponds are magical. We spent one night and honestly wish we would have been able to spend more time there! We will be back for sure. Thanks again

We had the pleasure of staying here in the beginning of November. It’s a very scenic spot by several ponds and surrounded by forest. They had even just put in an electrical hookup for us to use. Abegail was a very responsive hostess and her husband even lent me his fishing rod to use. I probably would have caught something if my dog hadn’t thought it was some kind of fetch game lol. Lots of room for my pets to roam about and I had a couple great fires while I was there. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back someday!
I had a good night at Evan's Farm made even better by the fact I was the only camper. Spoke to the owner who was very nice. The fishing was good and the night sky was great. Pretty quiet place which is just what I was looking for. Would definitely come back.

What a hidden gem! Zeus & I had a lovely stay & we are so appreciative of them opening up their property to guest. Caught a ton of bass pan fish & even a flathead catfish
I debated leaving a review because this place was incredible. Hidden gem of a property and campground. Camped in a 16' bell tent right beside the water. Neighbors we had we're helpful and guided us to camping.
I recommend not driving in at night though.

This was an amazing site. There was plenty of room to explore, both in and out of the water. The hosts were incredibly gracious as we booked what I would call last minute before a holiday weekend.
Our group of 8 were impressed with the property and would 100% recommend this to other campers.

Loved the land and the view was amazing. Abegail's land is huge and amazing. Can't wait to see it in the spring!!

Beautiful ponds to wake up to!
My two year old, hound and I had an amazing stay on the property.
Chickens, geese, guinea foul and turkey roaming the property. The Turkey are overly friendly and want to be pet. The chicken eggs were delightful.
Hosts communicated well and had a couple toddlers of their own which helped mine get accumulated quickly.
Fishing was great! Caught two 2.5-3lbs small mouth bass in the big pond. Host had great knowledge on his ponds and what bait to use for time of day and season.
I will definitely be returning to this picturesque little site.

I had the pleasure of staying at a charming campsite nestled between two of the beautiful ponds, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of nature and tranquility. Waking up to the gentle sounds of birdsong and dragonflies buzzing around was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The campsite itself is well-maintained, with plenty of space for tents and rigs. The ponds provided excellent opportunities for fishing, and kayaking. There are also beautiful trails near by, perfect for hiking and exploring the local flora and fauna. One me and the pup favored was Pettigrew State Park.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventurous getaway, this campsite offers something for everyone. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable outdoor experience.
