Gonzales, Tx is where the first shot during the Mexican war was fire that today has branded there own flag of a cannon with the saying "Come and Take It". The property has grasslands on a slight hill just enough to give an amazing view of the surrounding landscape. We are currently building our property up living off of the grid in our 5th wheel. We will be building a 5 acre fruit and vegetable farm with plenty of activities to do. If you like bees, or would like to learn a little about them, we have our own hives here where we are currently raising about 40,000 of them. Questions about growing, we can see if we can answer them. The property is easy access right off the hwy and only a few miles to town where activities range from hiking, swimming, golfing, history exploring, kayaking and many more activities. We are within a couple hours to the coast, Austin, Texas, San Antonio, and a little farther to Houston.Learn more about this land:Open land on 5 acres. We could have gotten away with not bringing a thing. A quaint treehouse, overlooking a pond, nature all around, two more ponds a short stroll away. Our favorite part, the seclusion. An escape from the busyness and chaos of the world. Being able to cook dinner by the fire, hear the bullfrogs croaking and take a soak in the outdoor tub overlooking the evening. An escape from the busyness and chaos of the world. Being able to cook dinner by the fire, hear the bullfrogs croaking and take a soak in the outdoor tub overlooking the evening. Do yourself a favor and invite the day with a grateful heart while showering in the open air shower. Sun rising, view of robins and chickadees while appreciating the whisper of the oaks all around. At Robins Nest we were explorers. We were artist, we were fisherman. We were silly, we were fun. We lived out every child’s dream, including my own inner child. We were storytellers.
