Lone Oak Farm is on the edge of Texas Hill Country along the Colorado River. Over 80 acres of prairie, forest and farmland, it boasts beautiful sunsets, wildlife viewing and quiet. Access to electricity, water and septic is available if requested in advance or guests can be completely off grid and nestled in the trees. Walk along the river and watch the waterfowl and listen to the birds or sit under our oak tree and catch the rancher at work.

Lone Oak - Tent Site

(21)
Tent site · Sleeps 6
At this site there is room for one 6 person + tent, or two smaller tents under the tree and then plenty of room for additional tents in open space next to the site. You can use your car to bring your supplies to the campsite if needed, but we prefer campers to hike in the .25 mile to the site so you can explore Lone Oak on foot to take in the fresh air and open spaces. You can park your vehicles in the barnyard near the owners RV and canopy or just outside of the riverside entrance gate. There is a picnic table at the campsite which you can move around as you see fit and a fire pit rimmed with rocks and stones. This site is on a high bank above the river, and there are several paths north and south of the campsite to walk down to the riverbank. The composting toilet is in the outhouse south of the campsite. Bring your own septic-safe toilet paper, and note there is no running water
