Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! Finding the Magnolia is a little tricky with Google maps (it just pinned it as part of a school district!) but the bumpy drive is worth it. The camping area is tucked around behind the barn, so you don't even notice the family home. The tent is super cute, the hammock chairs comfy, and the star-viewing? Superb. It won't be for everyone, but Jennifer gives all the details in the listing, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the bathroom facilities are rustic. Overall, a lovely experience. p.s. we got to cuddle with absolutely adorable outdoor cats during our stay, which was 10/10 for all participants!

We had the most fantastic weekend staying on Bridget’s land. The super cute camper was the perfect size for me and my 2 daughters. There were kayaks available and a boat that we were able to use on the river. The scenery was amazing and so relaxing- literally right on the river. The bathroom was the best I have ever used on a camping trip. There is a flush toilet and 2 showers with plenty of hot water! Bridget was so kind and communicative about the property and with questions I had. I will definitely be back. It is so worth it- you won’t regret staying here!!

We stayed in August, so while it was a bit hot in the middle of the day, the AC in the cabin, outdoor shower, and bathtub provided lots of ways to cool down. I surprised my partner with a weekend at Robin's Nest for his birthday, and it could not have been a better gift; he loved it. We brought our 3 pups, who loved every second of running around exploring the woods. We spent the entire time completely disconnected from the outside world (no cell service) and just relaxing and enjoying the type of privacy we very rarely get to enjoy living in the city. We were able to hear the highway which provided a feeling of safety, knowing we weren't actually in some desolate place, but aside from that, it was 100% private and we couldn't hear anything or anyone else other than nature. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed in a mini trailer near the lake and had a great time overall. The lake view was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. We loved that we could fish, though we wish the fishing had been a bit better. One downside was that the stove didn’t come with gas—we had to make a last-minute trip to Walmart 20 minutes away at 8PM. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!
