This wooded getaway offers privacy and a bit of room to stretch out with family, friends and pets. Located just off of HWY 38, only minutes to Reedsport and the 'Gateway to the Oregon Dunes'. This almost 7 acre parcel encompasses a beautiful valley of coastal wetlands where you will enjoy approximately 1 acre of leveled camping space with two 30 amp hookups and potable water on site. In addition, we provide 4 comfortable Adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. You are also just minutes to the very convenient Town of Reedsport dumping station at the corner of HWYs 38 and 101. You will find anything you might need in town, from groceries to fishing and crabbing equipment. Truly one of the most beautiful areas of the Oregon coast, activities in the region abound. Crabbing and fishing are centralized in Winchester Bay, about 10 minutes away. You are also located very near the mouth of the mighty Umpqua River, one of the best salmon fisheries in the state. Easy access to the coastal dunes is available up and down HWY 101 both North and South. Winchester Bay offers the closest entrance to the dunes where you can ride atvs and 4x4s and permits can be purchased in town. Stunning options for hiking, biking and mushroom hunting surround you here on the central Oregon Coast. With rainforest on one side of HWY 101 and coastal dunes on the other, there are many opportunities to explore different types of forested areas and trails. Wildlife enthusiasts are just minutes away from the Dean Creek Elk Viewing wildlife recreational area on HWY 38. This large herd can be seen daily grazing in the meadows.

This property is a beautiful, peaceful country setting with wildlife and lots of surrounding trees. There are a lot of deer and birds to enjoy watching. We have a large Koi pond and garden area that we love to share with visitors if requested. There is 1 large area to camp depending on the size of your group and how many self contained Vehicles/RV's. The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size.  We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like.  There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss.  We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained.  Pricing is $60 per night per RV.  We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.  We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach.  This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed.  Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) If you do reserve with us, please make sure you reserve according to how many RV's in your group.  Please be courteous when making reservations and try not to cancel last minute. If you have additional questions, please call or send me a message. We like to let people know that there are a lot of deer passing through all the time and they do leave droppings everywhere that we cannot control, so please be aware.  Pets must be on a leash at all times please. Coos Bay is the gateway to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, a 40-mile stretch of coastal sand dunes extending from Florence to Coos Bay. Our property is setup for RV campers only. You are welcome to bring your trailer with ATV, we just don't allow riding on our property. Sites are fairly level but they are on grass, so may require a bit of leveling.

Jeff's place was great! It was perfect for star gazing. We loved the kitchen and cooking outside. And the accommodations were very comfortable.

The Field is a great little gem on the Oregon Coast in Coos Bay. Close to the Sand Dunes for exploring. We went to Sunset Beach for a little morning tide pooling session but hear Horsfall Beach is nice too. We were pleasantly surprised to find some stellar mountain bike rides at the Whiskey Run Trails on Beaver Hill. There is something for everyone with 9 interconnected trails of varying degrees and difficulties. And closed out the night with food and beverage at the local 7 Devils Brewery. The Host, Zach, was very accommodating making this simple setup the perfect location to visit.

Was exactly what was promised - a quiet spot in a field! It was freshly mowed and there were beautiful wildflowers blooming. In the morning, I was greeted with peacocks, geese, and crows. The driveway was a little steep, but Zach was super responsive to my phone call and walked me down, and my rig was able to handle it just fine.

We absolutely loved staying at Zack’s place! He and his wife Nicole are incredibly kind and warm-hearted. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. They helped us fill up our RV’s water tank, gave us great recommendations for places to visit, and even invited us to pick cherries from their tree, play with their children and animals, and enjoy their trampoline and pool. They went far beyond what you’d expect from RV hosts: it felt like visiting old friends. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, green, quiet, and peaceful. We highly recommend staying with Zack and Nicole!! you’re sure to have a heartwarming, memorable experience. 😊

We absolutely loved our time here, with our little kids we felt incredibly safe and well prepared for anything. The camp kitchen was perfectly stocked and we were pleasantly surprised there was a small refrigerator for our cold food. We would easily come back in the summer!

Jeff’s site was incredible. The accommodations were cozy even on a rainy cold weekend and Jeff was a spectacular host. My dog and I had an absolute blast even when it was pouring rain. Such a gem!
