Cornerstone Ranch

Cornerstone Ranch is a beautiful 500 acre property on the Rogue River, and bordering the Pacific Ocean. The ranch offers campsites, as well as a yurt. Horses are welcome, as well pets. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you at "Marchmont Farm". Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. The large Yurt Tent about a 20 foot oval. It is part of the Cornerstone Ranch Hip Camp family of sites on the Ranch totaling 7. In a very quiet part of the campgrounds and having a picnic table under a large pine. We have added 2 twin memory foam mattresses and two camping mattresses in the Yurt along with a few other things to make your stay comfortable while still enjoying the Ranch, Coast and the Rogue River and all it has to offer. The ranch also offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie the Host! She has tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about her guests! Would recommend!"

**Please note: this property is for SELF-CONTAINED campers only - no toilet or hookups available (hose water and trash disposal on site). NO Class A RVs, Fifth Wheels, or Toy Haulers.** Beautiful Prosper Bluff is close to the charming town of Bandon, world class beaches, Bullards Beach State Park, Whiskey Run mountain bike trails, Bandon Dunes golf resort, and more. This open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view and privacy away from other campers while being close to town and recreation opportunities. Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located. Please message us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!

Fennel Flats - At The Orchard Hole

5 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Sixes, OR
Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.) - Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party. Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests). Campsite Rules: 1. Enjoy. 2. No motorized vehicles besides your auto. 3. Make sure your fun doesn't detract from the fun had by other campers. 4. No illegal activity. 5. Clean up after your pet in the camp and river bank area or anywhere people will be walking or playing. 6. No unfriendly pets, even if they are on a leash. Must be safe with other children and pets and livestock.

11 Mile River Camp

2 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Umpqua, OR
Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months. There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. The "site 1" camping spot has a driveway that is hard-packed grass and is not gated. There is a small fire pit on the path by the river. There are areas under the trees both up top near the road and down near the path that are suitable for tents. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

Riverview Properties

1 site · RV, Tent1 acre · Myrtle Point, OR
Notice of weather slowly changing. In the rainy season the river does come up and gets pretty high after December We flood out a bit in Jan/ feb. I just want out of town folks to be aware. Not a safe place for small children during that time. I do welcome long term camping in the rainy season for a lower price.. We are 2 miles down a gravel road from Hwy 42 you will find yourself able to drive a 40' skoolie or rv down to this location. We now have a composting toilet and Shower! Easy access to back in or pull in and be 20' from the river. This site does have 110 outlets and water access from river with pump, small fire pit and camp chairs, The river has some big fish and a little bit of a sandy beach area depending on the tide. Shade trees or sun you have both and summers are very nice out here. No bears or cougars in the area, usually a racoon or possum or fox. Over all very quiet and peaceful. Gets warm down by the river out of the wind so come prepared. My property line is the rocks, please keep on my property. Thank you.

Camping near Bandon guide

Overview

Situated just south of where the Coquille River meets the Southern Oregon Coast, Bandon is celebrated in equal measure for its beaches, food, and ample opportunities to explore the outdoors. While dubbed the cranberry capital of Oregon, Bandon’s big draw is its seafood, and there are plenty of spots in and around town to dine on fresh fish, crab, and oysters. The snug city is also a great jumping-off point for the wildlife-rich Bandon State Natural Area and the Coquille River Lighthouse at Bullards Beach State Park.

Where to go

South Coast

Bandon is smack in the middle of the South Coast, arguably the prettiest stretch of the Oregon Coast. Here you'll find massive sand dunes, viewpoints, and lots of opportunities for crabbing.

Coquille River

Stretching for 36 miles inland from Bandon, the Coquille River is best known for clamming and crabbing. It’s also a great area for wildlife viewing, particularly at the Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, just outside of town.

Encompassing a large swathe of coastal southern Oregon and Northern California, this coniferous woodland offers miles of hiking, boating, and wildlife-viewing opportunities.

When to go

Bandon is a year-round destination, though the weather is most favorable from June through September. The biggest annual event in town is the Cranberry Festival, which takes place just after Labor Day and honors area cranberry farming with all kinds of entertainment, including a cranberry-eating contest. Winter festivities include an annual tree-lighting ceremony and a Holiday Light Parade, while the Bandon Crab Festival—held in February—celebrates crabbing with live entertainment and a sumptuous crab dinner.
