Truly the most relaxing camping spot you could imagine. Super quiet except for the occasional car driving by. The outhouse was brand new and super clean!
Very mellow and quiet camp! Camps are spaced at appropriate distances. You can sit and watch logs etc go upriver with the tide! Host Lisa and Steve were caring and gracious! Picking ripe blackberries and plums was a surprise treat Three thumbs up!

Such an awesome camping area. Lisa was very sweet and welcoming. We camped on the “Sandy Site” which was between 2 other sites but a lot of space in between - barely heard our neighbors. The road nearby but only about 3 cars passed by so it wasn’t bad! Bathrooms were so clean. Had such a great time, wish we got to stay longer than a night!

We had a great time camping next to the river. The outhouse was the nicest one we’ve ever been in and the property is beautiful. The road isn’t too far away, but traffic is infrequent and didn’t bother us. Lisa was very communicative and her husband was extremely friendly, making us feel welcome and safe. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. It is about 20 minutes to a nice beach at the state park.

Our family of four absolutely loved everything about this Hipcamp, from the squeaky-clean restroom to the excellent fishing, and the hosts couldn't have been nicer. We are so excited to come back!

We had a great time! Peaceful, relaxing and unplugged. Just what we wanted. The Sandy site was perfect! Tidy and well laid out. We opted for the fire pit and firewood option. Definitely worth it! The new outhouse is amazing! 5 stars! Clean, roomy and cedar fresh! Lisa and Steve are wonderful hosts. Kind, considerate and thoughtful. Highly recommend! We will definitely be coming back!

Such a perfect little slice of paradise. This little piece of river is just amazingly peaceful and serene. After staying here one night, I changed my plans to come back for another three nights. The hosts are the best, the toilet is set up beautifully (and really does smell good!) I had just enough Verizon signal to get important messages through. Highly recommend this place, as a base camp for exploring the coast or as a meditative retreat.

Nice quiet camp site with peaceful sound of the river.
Such a great campsite,Lisa and Steve were fantastic host. I was skeptical at first I have never used Hipcamp before I’m very glad I did. My family had a blast, and it’s only 10-15 mins outside of Bandon. I even lost my phone in the water near the dock, Lisa went to her home and returned in a swimsuit to help me. If you’re looking for a beautiful campsite in the river I would strongly recommend this place…….PS I found my phone the next day and it still worked. Thanks again Lisa and Steve we will see you again.
Quite scenic, with riverside camping and a brand new composting toilet in a sparkling clean out building. This was a fine landing space for a night of van camping.
Though this is very close to a road, the road was not heavily traveled. There is some road noise from the highway across the river.
The lack of a grey water disposal space was challenging and we had to pack out dirty dishes.

The site was peaceful and with plenty of distance between campsites. The toilet shed is very new and very nice. It smells like wood chips!

Got to stay on Lisa’s site #2 and couldn’t be happier. Site was very well maintained, bathroom was close by and clean. The view of the river, sound of the countryside are perfect if you want a nice place to go wind down and feel refreshed. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely spot on the river! The host was kind, the bathroom was clean and fresh, the area was quiet and it was a wonderful convenience to be able to request a fire pit and wood. We highly recommend this beautiful site.

This spot is so quiet and green, definitely a hidden gem. And we loved being able to camp right by the river! Lisa is a lovely host. With this being so close to Bandon, we’ll definitely be back. Might have to check out the teepee next time around too
