The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. The Farm is also conveniently located close to several towns including Mount Angle and the cool little town of Silverton, Oregon. Silverton has several excellent restaurants, great brew pubs, a seasonal farmer's market, and shopping. It is also home of The Oregon Gardens, a world class botanical garden. Crooked Finger Farms has great history. The Farm and surrounding acreage was homesteaded in the late 1850’s-1860’s. You can still pick the fruit from the original heirloom apple and pear trees! The farmhouse, historic barn and outbuildings were built as a dairy in 1915.

We had a wonderful stay at Geercrest - the cabins were really cozy, the kids loved the lofts, and I loved reading about the history of the property with coffee on the deck! The hosts have put a lot of thought into amenities and while rustic, it feels like a glamorous upgrade from the state park yurts and cabins we've stayed at. We can't wait to come back again. The Guest House on the Farm is such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We experienced a power outage for 15+ hours from the storm, but Kristin made us feel safe and at so at home. Having all of the candles lit up around the house made the place even cozier. We loved how spacious the farmhouse was and seeing the beautiful fall leaves outside of the big windows. We also loved the close proximity to Silverton - such a sweet town! Hoping to come back to this hidden gem again to enjoy the cedar hot tub!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

GeerCrest Farm is a little slice of heaven! We rented the bunkhouse for our daughter’s birthday and the girls had the best time exploring the property. So many fun things to do and lovely spots to enjoy. The hosts were very gracious and helpful - setting up badminton for the kids to play, and loaning us a camp stove so we could heat up some soup. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.
