Creekside camping with showers

Had a wonderful time with the wife and two dogs. There is plenty of property to explore, a shallow Creek to play in and plenty of trails for walking the dogs. I also had fun riding my onewheel on the trails.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway in this camper by the creek! The location was beautiful—plenty of shade over the picnic table and chairs, with the sound of running water making it extra relaxing. The camper itself was very well equipped: electricity, running water, a medium-sized fridge, stove, dishes, utensils, even some spices. The highlight was definitely the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver on 90°F+ days. Our kid loved the bunk bed and winding down in the evening watching Moana on the TV. Fresh linens and blankets were provided, and we enjoyed the collection of board games together as a family. Floating in the creek was a big hit too—the host even let us use some of their floaties, which was very generous. We also explored the short trail around the property, snacked on wild blackberries, and appreciated the clean shower (with hot water and light!) and bathroom just across the little bridge. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made sure we understood everything about the property. There’s a small convenience store about 5 minutes away if you forget anything. One important note: there’s no cell service (at least with Verizon) and no Wi-Fi, so make sure to screenshot your check-in/out details before you head out. Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a family trip. The creek, swings, and cozy camper made it especially perfect for kids. Highly recommend!

Fun trailer, fresh produce, creek!

Brenda’s land is easy to access with well appointed amenities. My kids and I especially enjoyed the retro trailer, the wood fire pit, and crystal clear creek. Both Ray and Brenda went above and beyond! Fresh eggs, garden produce, even took my kids to see the baby turkeys in their yard. My young daughter left some things behind and they kindly mailed them (truly exceptional hosts!)

We were very happy. Brenda told us what we could expect and when we get there we were surprised it was more than our expectations. It was clean and convenient. The showers were clean, the bed was comfortable and nice bedding. So happy.

Lovely spot! The cabin was very well equipped with bedding, towels, and everything we needed to cook (pots, pans, French press, plates, silverware, cutting board). The propane stove outside and fire pit were set up very nicely for us. Our dog really enjoyed the walking trails right from the cabin. Would recommend.

Cabin Get Away

We enjoyed camping on Brenda's land. She is a gracious host. The cabin in nestled in the perfect amount of trees which allowed the cabin to remain a livable temperature (seeing as temperature was in the mid 90's) you can opt in for electricity and the cabin is perfect for two and a guest if you want.

We really enjoyed staying at Brenda's place. The creek was so refreshing and we loved staying in the tiny cabin. It was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Brenda was a wonderful host. Our kids enjoyed setting up their tents close to the creek and we enjoyed having our own firepit next to the cabin. It's a great place for families as the whole property is fenced in. It's not too far from Silver Falls State Park which was a fun activity.

We stayed in the retro trailer, which is adorable! Brenda has the trailer well stocked! Coffee pot, cups, plates, silverware, microwave, 2 burner grill plus theres a stove- everything you need (which means less that you'll need to buy/pack). The trailer was really nice in the summer heat with AC. We opened the windows at night and heard all the crickets. So calming. Mattresses and bedding was so comfy! We barbecued on the charcoal grill and had s'mores (many times) on the propane fire pit. The stream is right outside the trailer also. My youngest even tried to use Brenda's kayak! Brenda was so pleasant and offered everyone fresh veggies from her garden. We played Frisbee on the other side of the campground which is just a short walk over the bridge. We hiked around the property and found some little swimming holes. The kids had fun seeing all the crawdads! Porta potties are on the campground side, over the bridge by the community cooking area. We awoke to sounds of the ducks, birds and roosters. We will be back, we want to stay in one of the cabins next! Brenda offers so many things to make your stay more comfortable. We had a great time and I highly recommend her cozy, quaint retreat!

Awesome camping spot! We went as a small family (2 parents, 1 toddler) and stayed in the larger cabin and it was perfect. Lots of space for the toddler to safely explore. I can also see it being awesome for large groups! The creek is lovely and the onsite walking trails around the property are a huge bonus.

10/10 experience! After nights of camping, we treated ourselves to one of Brenda’s cabin. The hot showers, access to clean bathrooms, electricity, and cooking area with all the cookware made our trip super comfortable. My dog loved running around the many acres of land! Brenda was so lovely to chat with. I just loved her energy! And she was so sweet to offer eggs and veggies she grew in her garden. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay outside of silver falls.

Confortable!

Comfortable size, nice queen size mattress & bedding, comfortable full-size sleepable sofa, fluffy towels & washcloths. Perfect for our little family of 2 adults & a toddler. Too distant from the toilets for a toddler, but we brought a potty chair for that reason. This cabin would comfortably fit a playpen or a toddler mattress if you wanted to bring one.

Glamping in Earnest

My partner and I had the cabin on the creek for a night and it was absolutely wonderful. Relaxing, cozy, affordable. Brenda was incredibly friendly and generous, and the sound of the creek all evening just melted my tension away. We cannot wait to come by again!

Absolutely amazing! We have a 3 and 4 year old and it was a perfect place for them to roam, explore and be in nature. We stayed in the cabin and can I just say- those sheets were soooo nice! Nicer than so many hotels I’ve stayed at. It was a great stay

Cute farm getaway with great vibes!

Can’t wait to go back! Brenda’s awesome farm is a treasure! It was the perfect getaway from our busy lives. The setting is beautiful. We loved floating in Milk Creek watching cute ducks and happy families do the same. Brenda gave us the best tour of her property when we arrived. She is an incredibly awesome and welcoming host. We stayed in her cozy travel trailer right next to the creek. This place is such a find. Highly recommended!! We’ll be back!

Amazing stay with great amenities!

Wonderful setting and so much nature to interact with! We saw ducks (frequent occupants of the creek), snakes, fish, frogs, many types of birds, and bunnies. Alongside this we found various traces of larger creatures, like bear scat, so just be smart! The host was informative, kind, and wonderful, and pending upgrades to the property will absolutely have us returning next year. The cabin itself was comfortable and private (made me want to get a squishy mattress topper :) and the various swimming holes and areas to wade in the creek felt isolated while remaining a comfortable distance to the lodgings. Shower facilities were wonderful, porta-potties were clean, and the kitchen (with hot water!) was an amazing amenity. My only con for this camp would be the road noise, but this is not something the host can control and it dies down significantly by night time. Just be aware that some road noise will be present. Highly recommend this hipcamp, and my partner and I will certainly be returning.

Amazing stay.

We loved our little cabin that we rented. It was a easy walk to the creek and the bathrooms. The hot shower was a highlight of the stay. We could not have asked for a better host for our first time using Hipcamp. We will be returning and recommend them to others.

Perfect little getaway

The cabin was perfect! Everything was very clean. There was plenty of space for lounging and eating on the deck. The view from the cabin was great and being right next to the water was amazing on a hot weekend. We will absolutely be back again!

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful little private campground. Our stay was So Peaceful and So Relaxing! We didn't want to leave. Brenda, the owner/host, was an absolute jewel! She made our stay so memorable. The Cabin in the Trees was so charming and welcoming. The cabin and bathhouse, the whole campground were very clean and maintained. The property is secluded and private with blackberries to pick and creek running through it. Floating in the creek was refreshing and Tranquil and the blackberries were so sweet! Hearing the chickens and ducks just added to the charm of Creekside Farm and Roost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again soon!

We loved camping with Brenda. She was a great host, and made us feel the most welcome. The ground are beyond what is shown in the listing. It's a lovely set up that makes your stay so easy and smooth. We played in the creek day and night! The tent set up was spacious and set up so we could have some space and privacy between families, but also feel like we're group camping. There are two other little cabins on the property, and it did not feel like we were camping all together. Great experience, would love to return!

We loved staying in the retro RV for a night! The farm is beautiful and Brenda is friendly. I only wish we’d had more than a night. We didn’t even get to explore it all properly. We’ll be back for sure!
