Find an escape on this small blueberry farm in Sherwood Oregon. Campsite is bordered by a small year-round Creek, there is lots of shade and privacy. We also are located for easy access to local summer attractions, wineries, restaurants etc. Campfires and book reading have been very popular here at Bear Hollow! Check in before sunset for your best experience! (Late arrivals can be requested for an additional fee. Our campsite has a compostable toilet, potable water, picnic table, and allows campfires (outside of a burn ban). We are pet friendly. You must keep your pet with you and on leash or lead. This property is owned by the Dauenhauer family and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's the family began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision for quite some time.

We also are a tasting room for our beautiful Zenith wines and we do events. Learn more about this land: Park your RV or trailer in a mowed grassy field (summer months) surrounded by vineyard or on a gravel lot (year round) and enjoy the 133 acre Zenith Vineyard. Please plan to schedule a tasting of Zenith wines at our tasting room. Zenith is a working farm and so there will be vineyard labor and tractors in the area. Additional space is available for rent if your party size exceeds the maximum number of guests. (Friendly Pets are Welcome off leash-no fence). Please note that the space is adjacent to a shop (as shown in photos) with a part-time office located above the garage which has 1 employee and my husband. We are open to long term rental.

Zenith Vineyards was a lovely, quiet place for conveniently spending an autumn night in my little tent while visiting family nearby. I simply parked out near the barn at the edge of a vineyard and pitched my tent on a level spot. I didn't need any facilities, so it was just right.

We were camped in the middle of the vineyard which was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. It was just a short walk through the vineyard to go to the tasting room. The owners and their family were all very gracious and quite friendly and inviting. The staff was very friendly and informative about the wine and the production of the wine! We would definitely come back to Zenith Vineyards especially during the harvest season!

The property is large and beautifully maintained. It has a mix of shaded and open areas for camping and recreation. It was great for a family gathering. There's a great fire pit, wood supplied, electric hookup and lighting and potable water available. The composting toilet was quite pleasant. The hosts were gracious and we had the run of most of the property, including the blueberry fields for picking from the last of the available berries. There was some road noise from the nearby roadway, but it wasn't a big bother.

We love camping at Valerie and George's place. Aside from the fact that it is a working blueberry farm, which in itself is wonderful, the camping space is lovely, private and secure. They have put together a very functional camping area, with 2 picnic tables, with lights, a great outhouse and water. Definitely recommended!

Crystal and Dustin are the kindest and most inviting people we’ve interacted with on Hipcamp. They were communicative and accommodating. We stayed for 4 weeks June-July. The property is perched on a ridge overlooking the town of Newberg, with beautiful views across the valley. There are two large open areas behind the Hipcamp site for pets to roam around off-leash. There is a road up the hill from the property and with no fenced in area, you may want to leash your pet if they are overly zealous explorers. Wifi was ok for basic internet browsing. We utilized our Starlink for work/video calls which worked well given the tree cover. Hook-ups are a bit away from the pad, so make sure you have at least a 15ft sewer hose or 2 depending on your camper’s configuration. The owner does run his business out of the garage adjacent the site, but there was only an administrative worker a few days a week and occasionally people picking up/dropping off equipment. Neither were ever a bother to us and we never heard any noise from the visitors or workers. Great area with tons of wineries, restaurants, and hiking. Short 1-2 hour drives to the coast or Mt Hood. All in all, would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful spot not far outside Portland. Very private with two open field areas, one in the sun and one in the shade. My daughter loved picking blueberries in the morning. Valerie was lovely, and easy to communicate with. Would definitely visit her enchanting camp spot again.

Highly recommend staying at this location. The family that own this property are amazing and very helpful! Lots of room and fresh air to breath. Not a lot of traffic so it is very quiet and a great place to put your feet up and relax or go for a walk. Good views and some wildlife viewing including deer rabbits and birds. Can't recommend Kari's place enough!!!!
