The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

Our 160-acre property is surrounded by about a million acres of National Forest. Our neighborhood is all made of trees, huckleberry bushes and animals. We love it here. It is very remote, peaceful, and functionally sustainable in its focus. The closest neighbor is a Buddhist Hermitage about a mile up the forestry road. Also, supposedly, Sasquatch live here! (it is the epicenter for documented sightings).
Most visitors to the area are interested in spending time in the redwoods – we are about 30-45 minutes from the nearest entrance to Jedediah Smith Park, home of Stout Grove and other beautiful redwood hikes. Driving into Crescent City, about 45-60 minutes, winds you right through the "gentle giants" on your way to or from Redwood National Park.
We are self-sufficient, and sustainable in a relatively primitive set-up, especially after the fire this year. It's mountainous and remote, and we have a community agreement about no smoking (of any kind) on our land.

Coastal Forest Farm is a 13-acre family farm. The farm is complete with a seasonal pond, open pastures, and a forest. The forest includes ferns, a variety of mushrooms (please don't touch them unless you are knowledgable about mushrooms), flowers, and mossy-covered old-growth Sitka trees. At night you can hear the sounds of the ocean nearby and the frogs in the forest.

Our little farm has full hook-up sites with septic, great water, 30 amp electric, WiFi. We are located halfway between Brookings, OR and Crescent City, CA near the Wild and Scenic Smith River, Tolowa Dunes State Park, Lake Earl Wildlife Area, and Kellogg Beach (1.3 miles from camp) on the Pacific Ocean. The beautiful redwoods and Jedidiah Smith State Park are just minutes away. Beautiful campsite and very responsive/kind host. Close to a lot of activities and things to do. Our 35 ft trailer was a snug fit in turning around but we were able to make it work and had so much space for our dogs to run and explore within the safety on the fence. We even got to feed/pet the highland cattle and mini horses on our last day which just topped off the trip for my daughter and I. ❤️

My boyfriend and I camped here with the intent to visit Brookings OR, the campground was so beautiful we didn't end up going lol! Dar, the campsite host, was super friendly and welcoming. The animals are really friendly and we loved staying here. Amenities included flush toilets, hot showers, kitchen area with power, shared firepit. We're already planning our next trip here!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Jacob's Riverside Gem! It's rustic enough to feel adventurous and homey enough to feel warm and comfy in the winter. It's obvious that Jacob has put a lot of heart and soul into this little cabin because of all the artistic touches you will find throughout. The firewood was well stocked, the property was beautiful with many fresh fungi to observe, and the little kitchen was perfect for making delicious meals. The fridge is quite small with no freezer, so if you want to bring fresh food for cooking, I recommend bringing a cooler. The shower is not far from the cabin, so it's easy to get a hot shower in and run back inside to the warm cabin. Make sure to bring your own bath towel. The bathroom is farther from the cabin, but I enjoyed the walk there, especially at night when I could look at the stars.
We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space very much, seeing as we visited in winter, but we definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy all that this little cabin and the Smith River area has to offer. If you're looking for a quaint place to stay while adventuring in the area, you've found the right place!

I absolutely love this Hipcamp! It's so private (you have your own driveway and gate) and feels very safe. Surrounded by trees and farmland. Lots of cute little amenities to enjoy while there. The ground is level enough that you can just pull right in and set up. The host is very kind and responsive. Also, I think there's an owl that lives here, and he was a joy to listen to. Highly recommend.

4 nights at Rogue River Glamping
Let me start off by saying we loved our stay! It was peaceful and quiet, warm and cozy, and we had everything we needed. Our hosts had thought of so many details that made our stay such a pleasant experience and what we were hoping for. Fire pit with some wood, hotwater for awesome outdoor shower,coffee and basic kitchen needs, but also wonderful little details like robes for the shower, a simple map of the two trails we could walk and ice in the ice chest. Great hosts. Power went out once and they promptly got it fixed. Our only struggle was that it rained while we were there and we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we were hoping. The kitchen table didn't have a cover over it and so we couldn't use it while raining, (bringing a canopy for the rain would have been nice.) But we still had a nice dry and warm time in the cabin area. Excellent stay, will stay here again!

This was a great place for us as we camp in a very large tent. It was peaceful, close to town and Bonnie was very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed hearing the horses and chickens throughout the day. Our dog loved the grassy area in around our site.

Nestled not far from the ocean (an easy bike ride), the Redwoods and Crescent City it was a wonderful base camp for a lot of exploration, hiking and relaxation. It was exactly what my wife and I were hoping for as the last camp trip of the season. We highly recommend.
