Brookings Beachfront Cabin
I loved the beautiful sunset view and easy beach access. The kitchen was well stocked and worked great, but moving around the bed was tight (not a big deal). Planning to go back in the future.

We loved our stay at this cabin! First and foremost, the view is simply to die for. When the tide is in you look out and it feels like you are floating over the ocean! You can easily walk down to the beach in 30 seconds and enjoy a mostly private experience, super soft sand, and truly exceptional tidepools steps from the cabin. The space was great for our family of 4, two adults and two kids though as others have stated the ceiling is very low in the loft and children should not be left unattended as there are steep stairs and an open railing. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed and the drives to both Brookings and Crescent City are easy. We had the best time and would recommend this spot for everyone.

Amazing views, easy beach access to incredible starfish and anemones during low tide. Perfect set up for a couple, damn friend group, or small family.

This place is an absolute gem. This was my second time here, but it was a brand new experience since it was over Christmas and a winter storm raged for most of the visit. You can literally sit in warmth and comfort while witnessing fantastic waves, squalls out over the water, rainbows, and the majestic shifts in light…all from the couch! It’s very cutely decorated and has almost everything you need in the kitchen (bring a blender if you need one). The hot tub is perched on the deck with incredible views. I had my dog both times and it was quick and easy to take her down to the beach, which you normally have to yourself. The space is small, but is perfect for 1-3 people. Four might start to feel tight but I’m sure it’s doable. The upper loft bedroom is definitely a tight space but totally comfortable and functional. They give warnings about the hot water situation, and that’d be my only complaint, especially for washing dishes. Otherwise this is a really sweet, cute, remote, beautiful place to stay for a great price considering the drop dead gorgeous views!!!

Excellent location as others stated. Hot tub was hot on arrival and nice. Internet, cable, kitchen, bathroom, etc all worked well.

Gary’s place is like living in a dream. Incredible views and access to a virtually private and expansive beach. We had so much fun exploring tidal pools and playing with driftwood. The cabin was clean and cozy, and a great size for our family of 5. We highly recommend staying here.

The place was cute, clean and had a hot tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean with great views of Oregon to the North.
Even though the cabins are relatively close together, I felt that they afforded enough privacy. The views alone are great.
The sounds of the surf lulling you to sleep every night was not only soothing, but magical. The modern and bright beach themed unit was just right for us. I would definitely stay here again.

March 10 - 14. Really nicely laid-out little cabin, very comfortable and clean with everything you need in the kitchen, including some good knives. There are 2 bedrooms. One is a sleeping loft, there is no standing, but it's spacious and private. This is a great place to hang out, hot tub, watch the ocean and beach. The views are fantastic.
Not sure that I would call it glamping since this is a cabin in a 20 unit resort, just 7 miles south of Brookings. It's called the White Rock Resort, and you can book directly thru them.
The tightly spaced oceanfront units don't allow total privacy if you're on the deck, but I did like how quiet it was on Saturday nite with all units occupied.
The 2 dogs and those of us with artificial knees had no problem going up and down the stairs to the beach.Also highly recommend Pacific Ocean Harvesters in Brookings for fresh seafood ( we ate fresh crab most nights).

Cozy cabin in a spectacular setting overlooking a beautiful beach. Gary was a fantastic host, very good at communicating and concerned about our wellbeing. Close to wonderful hiking trails at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park or a long walk on the beach. The cabin had everything we needed. The hot tup on the deck was pure joy!

This place was a treasure! Decent privacy too! I highly recommend turning the hot tub on as soon as you get there as it takes about 6 hours to warm up. Careful of the bar stools, they can be a bit tipsy, and bring body soap, we had to use the hand soap. Other than that, we would buy this place in a heartbeat! We'll come back the next chance we get! Worth it!!!!!

Gary’s cottage is a gem! It’s spic and span, modern-cozy and beachy - and the view from the deck right onto the beach makes it a place to savor. Full kitchen was a plus and while we were just two, the loft makes it easy to add another couple (if they don’t mind stopping) or a kid or two. Hot tub also a plus. Would stay again!

This property is in an excellent location. The views are just fantastic. The beach is perfect for beachcombing and low tide reveals a lot of marine life on the rocks and tidepools. The hoit tub is in the perfect location to enjoy a drink while watching the evening wrap. This was perfect for our family for two nights. Great location for enjoying Redwoods as well. We only wished the host had left a board game or two in a closet!

After an initial miscommunication led to the cabin not being ready for our check-in, Gary worked hard to rectify the situation and make amends. We were grateful for the efforts. I would highly recommend this cabin as the location is stunning, the cabin is very comfortable, and the host is very easy to communicate and work with. We plan to return in the future.

Great little place for two couples or a small family. We LOVED how close the cabin was to the beach. It had everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Plus, the host made everything so easy! We would love to come back at some point.
