Near Redwood National Park
Within a 30-minute drive from the Jedediah Smith Visitor Center.
Coastal Forest Farm is a 13-acre family farm. The farm is complete with a seasonal pond, open pastures, and a forest. The forest includes ferns, a variety of mushrooms (please don't touch them unless you are knowledgable about mushrooms), flowers, and mossy-covered old-growth Sitka trees. At night you can hear the sounds of the ocean nearby and the frogs in the forest.Private, wooded area available for fully contained RVs, travel trailers, and campers. Hipcampers MUST have own bathroom/toilet, there are no bathroom accommodations at site. There is only 1 site, so it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway with beautiful large trees and coastal sunsets. The campsite is fully fenced to allow children and pets to roam safely.  This spot is also ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with Lake Earl Wildlife area (the largest freshwater coastal lagoon in California ) located across the street, Kellogg Beach and Tolowa Dunes State Park located within a couple of miles. The ocean’s close enough that you can hear the waves at night. Smith River and Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park are just a short 5-10 minute drive for hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, sunning, and other fresh water fun. So bring your kayaks, bikes, surfboards, walking shoes, hammocks, or anything else to enjoy all the beauty and adventure the Northern California Coast has to offer.

Great Stay - Would Stay Again
My wife, dog and I had a great time here! It was very secluded and peaceful. It was nice having the entire area fenced in so we could have our dog off leash. We appreciated the fresh eggs and hospitality we were provided - we highly recommend Coastal Forest Farm!

By far the best place we've stayed on the southern Oregon Coast! Wonderful farm, great host, secluded private campground that's well taken care of. Approximately 1/2 acre with berries, redwoods and flowers everywhere. It's fenced off so your pets can roam off leash and you don't have to spend an extra $30 - $45 to build a fire and very close to the beach, redwood groves, etc. You'll be pleased you found this place!

Coastal Forest Farm Camp
HIP AF ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our first Hipcamp experience was hip AF! We loved this coastal farm! The space was so thoughtfully curated including comfortable Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and citronella lamps, with extra oil. And perfectly leveled for campers with plenty of space to turn around, and spread out. It was a totally private experience except for sharing with Oscar the pony and his buddies, the other ponies, horses, cows, pigs, and chickens which were friendly from the other side of the fence. five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you - Julie, Huckleberry, and Ligo 🐶

Coastal Forest Farm Camp
Absolutely wonderful stay! Beautiful piece of land, fully fenced but the fence at the gate on the road wouldn't contain our scrappy mid-size pups, so not an off-leash campsite for our dogs. That wasn't a problem at all, just an FYI for others. The neighbor animals were a delight, and we loved our visit - can't wait to come back again, thank you so very much!!
