Lovely setting on a small family farm. The hosts are very friendly and have made this a nice place to camp. It is generally quiet though three beautiful dogs in a fenced yard make their presence known occasionally. The full hookups are nice. New 30 amp electrical. We parked a 28’ travel trailer and that’s about as big as I’d try to park there…not a ton of space to maneuver. Also, we arrived after an incredible amount of rain in late winter and our rig wasn’t easy on their lawn. They were understanding and I’m sure it’ll be in good shape after some drier weather.

Peaceful setting, with the Milky Way at night. You can hear the ocean in the distance. Ramon greeted us when we arrived and helped us get our trailer parked in site 4. Carolyn is very responsive and offered us vegetables from their garden and fresh eggs. Both are very friendly.

LOVED this farm! Our first time using HipCamp and we found a GEM! We booked late and last minute and were greeted with help to get into our spot. We had the place to ourselves and it was so peaceful. My kids loved seeing all the animals and Carolyn was very helpful and accommodating! Thank you!

Not my first choice.

We ended up opting for another site at a nearby national forest campground. I would definitely camp here if I were in a pinch but not ideal if you’re wanting to enjoy nature. We were on a tour of the west coast’s most majestic natural wonders and this was just kind of a let down compared to the other sites we had stayed. Our site was steps away from the hosts house and dog fence. Just not what we were expecting as the photos kind of make it look like a larger piece of property and not camping in someone’s side yard. Unfortunately the host wasn’t understanding of our situation and would not offer a refund. I’m sure they are great hosts but being a Hipcamp host myself, I wouldn’t have hesitated to refund a guests money if they were at all unhappy with the site, especially if they never even parked the camper or used any amenities.

Amazing site! Always love one with full hookups, but this site especially wowed me. Close proximity to the beach, redwoods and crescent city made this site super convenient. If you ask nicely, you might even get to meet some of the animals on property. Carolyn was a kind and helpful host, with local recommendations and parking assistance. Would absolutely stay again!

Great spot that we lucked out and got all to ourselves. Carolyn gave amazing recommendations and has the perfect spot to explore the Oregon coast and the Redwoods. Staying here is what made our 1st of many Coast trails a great experience!

Great Location & Friendly Host

Carolyn and Ramon we're very welcoming and helpful host. Carolyn brought us some fresh farm eggs, which was very nice of her. We stayed here for two nights in our 31 ft travel trailer. Very convenient to visit the Redwoods and having the Pacific Ocean just a few minutes away was awesome. The only issue we had was that the 30 amp was wired in reverse polarity. I talked to Ramon about it, and he was going to check with his electrician. It's a simple fix, but we chose to use our generator/solar setup for the stay. We would stay here again if we were ever in the area. A nice safe place to spend a couple of days.

This camp is very close to Crescent City. That is convenient. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The camp sites have full hook ups which is convenient. The spaces are pretty close together so if other campers are there it decreases privacy. There are trees and picnic tables at a couple of the sites. Close drive or nice bike ride to beach. Happy camping! 🏕️

Solid site overall, three big dogs

Overall the setup is solid. Easy to get in, hookups are easy to access, and the hosts are friendly. The only thing I wish I would have known is that the three big dogs are very close to the campsite. They are fenced in and enclosed within an electric fence, just be aware.

Great hosts and location!

Carolyn and Ramon were the kindest hosts. They were extremely responsive and accommodating. The location is only 1.4 mi from the beach. Very few people so my dogs could run and run along the water. There were some very friendly horses next to our site. The sites were clean and level. Location is within 20 miles of Northern Redwoods. We would stay again.
