Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

I'm accepting only 10 campers per night. What a wonderful experience my campers have discovering my quiet, lovely landscape! If you like a camping area with green grass and ample space....book here Tenters and RV's with full or partial hookups are available. Exclusive river sites for tenting and traditional full hook- ups with water and sewer. The tidal water of the N. Nemah River allow for kyacking to Willapa Bay or just in River at high tide. Searun cutthroat fishing in summer and King Salmon starting August 1st. Located 25 minutes from Long Beach or Astoria there are fun places for day trips. The tiny town of Nemah has zero commerce only a few scattered farms and homes. Eagles and Elk grace the sky and the property for added visual fun. Georgous restrooms paneled in cedar with showers are available. I accept RV's of all sizes Laundry is free. Central campfire on the river available. individual campfires allowed when fire bans are lifted in select sites for safety and fire prevention.

Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area , Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber , some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started.

The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in. If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature. Each of our 13 large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping. One of the campsites is next to the beaver pond, where you're likely to see a variety of wildlife. Our property also has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and Kielbasa), bacon (when available), pork chops and roasts.

Riverberry Retreat Camp

Riverberry is the perfect setting to get outside and connect with nature. Relax on the riverfront, go for a swim under a waterfall, fish, hike, rockhound, and explore old growth rainforest, located on the beautiful and pristine North Fork Nehalem River. There is plenty of room for private or group camping. Sites are secluded and firewood, ice and fresh eggs are for sale on site; shared portable toilets for camp guests and potable water is available at the homestead for filling your containers. The North Fork Nehalem river is home to some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing around. It is still a wild place and not uncommon to see deer, elk, beaver, bald eagles, coyotes and a very rare bear sighting. You will be a 20 minute drive away from the coast in Manzanita for beach beach combing, farmers market, unique shops, epic hikes and local cuisine. Just past Manzanita, another 10-20 mins further, are Cannon Beach and Seaside. Check-in is from 2-7pm. If you need accommodations outside of that time frame please give us at least 24 hour notice. James & Patricia's Oasis

20 years ago James and Patricia purchased land that had been logged multiple time, and built a house to raise a family, and watch the forest regrow. James loves trains and this area had a logging operation in the early 1900's that included railroads, donkey engines and logging camps in the area. In the 1980's several 10 to 20 acre parcels were sold to people who wanted a piece of the country life. James and Patricia now live on one of those parcels and look forward to the next generation enjoying the country life. When James and Patricia bought the property, the previous owner had cut down most of the trees and would mow most of the land. The land was allowed to recover with alder being the first forest which replenished the soil. In a few areas scotch broom (invasive plants) took hold. Not wanting to use toxic chemicals that could leach into the water supply getting rid of scotch broom was a challenge but now there is large meadow with baby Christmas trees growing (marked by the red flags). In many other places douglas fir has planted itself along with new cedar trees. There is beautiful undergrowth that includes thimble berry, Oregon grape, candy stripe and many other wild plants. There is red huckleberry growing in various places and makes a great snack when they are ripe.Speaking of wild, there is a lot wildlife here. Several species of birds live here including family of humming birds. Sometimes you will see grouse, geese, ducks, swallows, red tail hawks, even a glimpse of a bald eagle. There are wild bunnies, gardener snakes, frogs, salamanders. If you go along the trails you might see signs of deer or coyote. There are currently 2 horses and a llama that are living in the back half of the property. Sometimes Larry the llama comes out for a visit. He is shy on not really domesticated but like all llama's curious. There are chickens that live near the garage and garden (that's why dogs must be on leash). Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent in a shady meadow next to a small pond. Enjoy the serenity and the coastal mountain breezes flowing through the tree tops. There are hiking trails through forest land. Wake in the morning to birds singing, and fall asleep to the frogs in the pond. Clear nights and you can see a lot of stars. During the right season there are blackberries, red huckleberries and thimble berries. The Banks-Vernonia Linear trail State park and LL Stub Stewart are both near this beautiful little space.
