We enjoyed our camping trip so much at rainforest glade. The fire pit was set up and ready for us when we arrived right on the river. It was so pretty and my boyfriend even caught a fish. The site was about 15 minutes from Cannon Beach, which was just lovely. Incredible host and incredible site thank you, Doug!!!

Beautiful, peaceful, and hosted by excellent humans! This was our second visit and we can’t wait to return. Watching sunsets from the river, swimming with our dogs, and camping in utter peace is perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

The space we stayed in was majestic. Mary was there adding some finishing touches when we arrived and she was so accommodating and helpful. She went above and beyond. The view of the swimming hole and beach was incredible. Waking up to it was one of my favorite parts. We counted at least 13 different birds we saw, including a bald eagle we watched for almost an hour. I have already been planning to go back. Highly recommend this spot.

Weekend Trip to Healing Ponds Farm

Our stay at Mark’s and Jennifer’s place was magical and unique! Hosts welcomed us warmly and showed us around. Campsite was well prepared, we couldn’t wish for more. Even though the place was located near the pond, there were no mosquitoes. We don’t bother farm smell but for those who care - it was not perceptible. Our kids were allowed to see the animals and even help a little bit! Jennifer’s hospitality really enchanted us ❤️

Friendly Creek is the best Hipcamp we have stayed at, and at this point we have stayed at quite a few! The photos really can’t communicate how nice it is. The area is stunning and lush, full of ponds, creeks, waterfalls. All the sites are nice and fairly private - if you have a 4WD car, the secluded sites look amazing. We appreciated Tyler’s map and pamphlet, and the little camper store, and the other thoughtful details. All in all, this is a really special place we can’t recommend enough!

3 nights at Elkenmist

Everything went well. Nice private site. Staff super helpful. Den answered my questions before I arrived (on a gold wing trike and wanted to make sure I could get to site. ) Beautiful property, eclectic. Outdoor kitchen was great to have. Outdoor shower worked however needs a little work. Nice walking trails. A must if you wish some of nature’s grandest beauty.

2 nights at Twisted Tree Camp

What a great secluded campsite in the woods! We stayed at the Cape D State Park the night before, packed in like sardines, but this site was perfect for us and our reactive dog to stretch out and relax. We really enjoyed the short and easy walk to the beach, despite the private setting, and being in close proximity to Loomis State Park. We’ll definitely be looking to book this site again!

2 nights at Powder Creek Campground

We loved our stay at Powder Creek! We are a family with 4 kids and 2 dogs. Site #1 was very large and tucked back, with great creek access. The kids (and dogs) had so much fun in the creek. The portapotties were clean, and we used the creek water to wash dishes and hands. It was a beautiful place with lots of room to enjoy and we will certainly be back! :)

This is one of our go-tos for camping. The sites are spacious and well kept. The owners are nice and check up on campers to see if they need anything. Facilities (outhouse) are well stocked and kept up. And that's not even covering the beautiful creek and ranch. It's really a special place, and I'm glad we've gotten to stay here. I've written reviews before, so I don't have much more to say. I think it speaks to itself that we keep coming back. Great place to camp!

Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left.

Beautiful Tent Yurt and Campsites. All sites have access to the river and the beach. Great for biking, playing on the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Watch and listen for the magic of the fish jump and ducks swimming and more. Lots of wildlife reported. Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing And surrounded by woods. The sites are not directly on the river (except for the site " Cozy for 2" that is on the river . The river is still in front of all the sites. A few miles away is a little restaurant. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. All Children must be accompanied at all times . Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. There is a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront. The river is a stone throw away. The camp site "Cozy for 2" is the only campsite right on the river. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. Please don't ask me to accommodate more people than I have implemented. It doesn't work. Thank you

Kilchis River Retreat

Twisted Tree Camp

Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space.

We have a blueberry patch and 15 heirloom apple trees that guests will be welcome to pick fruit for their breakfast and lunches for hiking /biking adventures when in season . During spring / summer the soapstone run remains deep enough for swimming. I am a mostly, retired restoration ecologist with a place based knowledge of the north coast and will be happy to share “ locals only “ hikes and special experiences you won’t find on the internet for north coast exploration. My intention is to provide a no impact/ sustainable camping site near the beach that are not available elsewhere near CB and Seaside. It is a natural pad for your RV on river rock and wood chips as a base surrounded by native temperate rainforest just outside your door . Sea run trout use the “ soapstone run” from July through October and can be caught ( ideally on a fly rod ) at dawn and dusk with steelhead and salmon from October to March . It’s considered one of the very best steelhead runs on the Necanicum. There is a river cobble / gravel bar that is perfect for evening campfires only a few steps from the parking pad. It can accommodate RVs up to 24 feet to park in a forest glade setting just a few steps from the river . I live at the end of an easement road that will require campers to drive Slowly to the RV site. Campers will be provided some camp fire wood, there are no other amenities on the I look forward to sharing the special place we live and not well know hiking experiences and other activities with hipcampers .

My Tiny Creekside Retreat is located in the hills above Longview, with easy access to Historic Downtown Longview, less than a half hour from the I-5 Freeway, and within 1.5 hours of Long Beach, Mt. St. Helens, and Portland Oregon. The Retreat includes accommodations for overnighters and is available to host your small event. In addition to their private accommodations our guests enjoy our large covered fire pit and picnic area, creek side beach, yoga decks, and an EV charger. A perfect escape from the hustle of life!

Our property is 60 acres of idyllic Pacific Northwest wilderness. Located just a few miles from the Columbia river, enjoy a private, serene valley all to yourself! There are many trails and forest to explore, along with a creek running through the property to cool off in during the summer. You might even be lucky enough to glimpse our local herd of elk that calls our small valley home, along with an assortment of other critters as well. FYI: There is a dog that lives on the property. While the sites are situated quite far from the house, he may visit. He is not dangerous and is very friendly. He loves people and other dogs. His name is Cooper.

offering up an area on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers** Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!
