In the early 1980's the family began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.**

In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland.
Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.
Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.

The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land!
With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and lay out a few more sites!

Chris and Beth met and started dating in Indianapolis in 2009 where both were working on their graduate education. During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. As the relationship evolved, Chris worked toward the goal by researching viticulture, attending classes and investigating potential vineyard sites. each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update.
you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

We have 2 camp sites available and more coming soon nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife.
each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update.
you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.

A fresh 6 pack of eggs are included for free. Enjoy seasonal Apples from our small orchard. Watch the Deer graze, relax in the hammock in the shade of the old Apple trees or toss some horseshoes or Corn Hole for fun. Need supplies? Town is close by! We are a 7-10 minute drive to the Newberg, including downtown and various local parks. Visit The Allison Inn and Spa, Caravan Coffee, Sprinkles of Joy Bakery w/espresso, Food Carts including Hutch and Lucky's BBQ, and many of our casual favorites like The Old Town Bar, Just Pho U, Thai the Knot, La Sierra Mexican, and Abby's Pizza. Enjoy our famous 99W-Drive In, and visit our local seasonal Farmer's Market on Wednesdays 4-7 p.m.
Wineries to explore galore nearby in Newberg and Dundee just a quick hop over the expressway including Rex Hill, Potter’s Vineyard, Sokol Blosser, Durant Vineyards and Olive Mill, Duck Pond, Domaine Serene, Ponzi and more.
Explore the property, take the kids for a swing under the big Coastal Redwood or play in the pasture with the Chickens and Turkey with scratch grains available for the kids to feed the birds. If you have pets, we just ask that you keep them on a leash when exploring on or off our property please.

A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. We stayed here due to the closeness of many vineyards. It was easy to find, no noisy neighbors like an RV park and relatively peaceful. Joel was quick to respond when needed. We felt safe and comfortable even though there is a federal correctional facility across the pond/park. We’d definitely stay again.

We loved it here! The road is steep but I was able to get my 20ft camper up no problem with a 4 runner, would be fine for smaller rigs and vans. Also the power and water are probably 40ft from the camp spot so bring a long power cord and hose. The host were great and the views were great! My wife used it for a writing retreat! We will for sure book here again!

We have REALLY enjoyed our stay at beautiful Grace Acres. We’re still here, we have decided to extend our stay. Paula and Ed are super friendly and kind hosts. Ed went above and beyond to help us out with an electric cord to use so we could have electricity. The rv spot is flat and on gravel, so no muddy paws on our Pooch. Plus the resident farm dogs, Maverick and Lucy are just wonderful and so gentle. The rolling green views are magnificent and the stars at night, look close enough to touch.
