This property is part of an original hundred acre woods in the Adirondack Park overlooking Lincoln Pond. My grandfather moved an old ice house under the property in 1943 and built the existing camp in 1949. Her family lives in Florida and has continued to maintain and improve the old camp for the last 40 years. After having done selective logging two years ago we discovered a spot in the back of the property overlooking the pond and with the removal of a couple of trees have a beautiful view of Lincoln Pond. The deck with the Yurt is the beginning of an eventual cabin. I live in the main house from late May until late October and decided to share it with like minded nature loving folks. Feel free to explore the two marked walking trails (former logging trails). One is marked with orange tags; the other is green. Park in front of the camper.

3 nights at Scott’s Summit

Paige and I had a wonderful time at Scott’s site! The views were incredible, beautiful sunrises and sunsets were had. The site itself had a lot of great amenities and was well maintained. Scott was a phenomenal host who quickly answered any of the questions we had and gave us plenty of privacy. Plenty of great trails to hike around just a short drive away. Would highly recommend having a larger vehicle like an SUV to get to the site and navigate the terrain. I drive a Toyota rav4 and got around just fine. Would definitely recommend this site, we had a phenomenal time.

Weekend Trip to Whispering Pines Camp

It was such a nice setting. Very peaceful and beautiful spot. Brianne was great at communicating ahead of the stay and the site had everything we needed. Firewood and kindling was supplied along with 4 chairs to sit around the fire. Toilet paper at the outhouse. Bug spray. Tissues in the tent. Drinking water. Coffee cups. Marshmallow roasting sticks. It was all ready for us. Everything was thought of. The tent was spacious with a comfortable bed and futon and plenty of extra blankets. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

4 nights at The “Little Dipper” Cozy Cabin

My wife and I had a blast staying at the little dipper! The dog Bell, all the chickens and just the peace and quiet. My wife and I are also not huge on intermingling with people and Pete and his wife were very respectful of how I am hahaha I would definitely go back. It's a beautiful spot!

Weekend Trip to Whispering Pines Camp

The tent was huge! Very comfortable king size bed and a perfect double futon perfect for our 6 year old. Clean bathroom! We had a nice fire with the graciously provided wood. The torch lamps helped keep the horseflies and mosquitoes away! Very peaceful waking up to silence! Absolutely zero cell service for miles so I recommend getting any info you need while in town!

4 nights at Scott’s Summit

We had a lovely stay at Scott’s tent. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the entire stay worthwhile! It was also such a perk having a flushing toilet and creek water for washing. If you’re thinking of booking Scott’s tent, a couple of things to note: Although there is a road that takes you close to the tent, you have to park in a designated parking area which requires about 200 feet of an uphill hike to get your things to the tent. The paths were a little overgrown and the road up was a little tricky. We had no issues in our Jeep Wrangler, but I probably wouldn’t want to drive the road in anything with lower clearance or a much wider body. You can hear the highway at the site, but we got used to it after the first day. There is a flushing toilet in a tent not too far from the main camp, which we loved having available! The site is also very private, which we loved! All in all, as long as you feel comfortable with the drive and hike up, this was a nice spot to spend a long weekend.

The PERFECT weekend retreat! Nestled in a little alcove of pines, the tent was everything you would hope for and more! Brianne was a fantastic host, who had reached out ahead of time to ask if we would like the EZ up due to rain in the forecast. Great way to unplug. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!
