Sweeping pastoral hillsides mixed with densely wooded private acres make our camps unique, each one offering a different experience. A developed network of our own marked trails for exploring, our private red slate swimming quarry with docks and seating, and catch release fishing at 2 ponds are a few things to enjoy here. Slate Valley Trails and Merck Forest are close by. Places to picnic, enjoy the sunset, and idle are a plenty. Our farm stand is stocked with seasonal produce, jams, eggs, and bagged ice. Spring water is available. Excellent locally burgers, steaks, chicken and more are available as pre-order EXTRAS.

Amazing location with panoramic views of the Vermont Green Mountain range, this property adjoins a public 9 hole golf course. Located on over 260 private and secluded acres, property also has a 2 acre pond for swimming, paddling or just relaxing.
There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience. Please note, regarding directions to the site: Some maps, directions show our address as the town of Whitehall NY. This is also correct, as we are apparently on the border of the two towns and depending on the map, it can come up as Hampton, or Whitehall. As far as I know, it's the town of Hampton, but just in case...

Private driveway in the woods leads up a hill to three fabulous, secluded, country-setting camping locations with incredible views. Hay fields in front of you with woods behind you, you'll have peace and quiet in total seclusion but are only 5 minutes from downtown historic Greenwich village with diners and shops and a CVS. Come see Lake Shaftsbury State Park! This 200 year old farm is at the top of a dead end road on 150 acres. It sits in a region of Bennington County formerly called Healing Springs Vermont. The springs that flow off of West Mountain come down through the farm and across Route 7 where they feed the picturesque state park!

This campground is easy to park with a convenient bathroom and showers that are fairly clean. Toilets were cleaned both mornings. The last shower stall is large enough to get clothes away from shower area. The shower heads are intelligently placed facing toward the back wall and there was plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are reasonably priced. We were there late in the season and they were doing some work with chain saws. Perhaps in preparation for the next season. Absolutely no managerial people spoke to us and the office was closed when we arrived. We just went to our reserved site.

We loved our stay at Caitrin and Hardy's Trailhouse campground. It had everything you needed, and nothing you didn't! It was an ideal hub to explore Slate Valley Trails and return home to relax and unwind. Small touches, relaxed and welcoming vibe, beautiful setting and fun trails all contribute to a perfect stay.

We were overwhelmed by the beauty and layout of Caitlin’s land and location. It was late September and we had what seemed like the entire place to ourselves. The quietness was magical. No road traffic noise just sounds of the forest and small little critters gathering up winter food supplies. If you’re not a fan of an outhouse, you’ll be surprised by the cleanliness and design of the two. Fresh water and hand soap at each house. The showers were just as nice. We definitely will return to Caitlin’s land.

The owner was so kind - he even waited for us when we arrived late to make sure we knew where to park and to answer any questions.
The place is magical, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Waking up to that view in the morning was such a treat!
Of course, there are full hookups (electricity, water, and dump).
We had an amazing experience here and truly hope to come back in the future!

Jeff and Milton have a lovely property in a beautiful part of upstate NY. We chose it as it was a short distance from the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) for a show we planned to attend. We enjoyed riding bikes along the country roads and the pups had a great time playing in the lush grass. The 30 amp hookup worked perfecty and the well water was clean and clear. We also had a fun evening by the fire on our last night and highly recommend this spot for a unique private getaway in a gorgeous setting with wonderful and helpful hosts.

We had an incredible camping weekend in Kelly’s land. We were situated on site 3, which was incredibly private and had a lovely picnic bench and a fire ring. The amenities were top-notch, with extremely clean bathrooms and showers. The campground’s standout feature was the Grab as you burn service. We had the pleasure of meeting Kelly and Rick during check-in, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts.

They've done such a wonderful job with the property (warm showers? heck yeah!) and the trail system is top notch. I'd recommend staying here even if you just want a quiet weekend away.

One of the best van (or tent) camping sites we have visited in New England, especially if you mtn bike, gravel grind, or trail run. Hardy and Caitrin have turned an old farmhouse into a quiet recreational gem. And they have done so while employing good old Yankee ingenuity, creativity, and artistry. Worth the trip just to experience homemade bike jumps, outdoor clay oven, and honestly one of the very best outdoor showers!

This is an excellent HipCamp. Located in a beautiful setting surrounded by farmland. It is a quiet and well maintained property. The host (Jeffrey) was very responsive and even has a nice YouTube video with instructions on how to set up if for some reason he is not available. It is nice to not have any guess work or anxiety about ensuring you are honoring the host’s wishes. I highly recommend this HipCamp.
