Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Weekend Trip to Timbertrail Farm

We had a wonderful time. The view was spectacular. The accommodation suited our needs. Having to outdoor compost potty with a scenic view was a plus for outdoors camping. We had heavy rain, but we were prepared. Mike had that wonderful pizza oven that we took full advantage of making so delicious pizza. We plan on returning to repeat our adventure.

Weekend Trip to Coy Mountain Camp

Stellar view and lots of privacy from this high field. Great place for a tent or camper van. We enjoyed the firepit, cute outhouse and outdoor shower. And trails to explore in the woods. Hosts were welcoming and the gift of fresh eggs was a bonus!

We had a great time camping here! We participated in two glass blowing classes while we were there and Robert & Kathy were such warm and hospitable hosts! We enjoyed some great meals at their fabulous recommended restaurants and even had a magical evening star gazing at their grand opening of their Taft Hill Farm Observatory!

Fantastic communication! The road into this site was fantastic! The site was as advertised. Noah and his mother Steffanie run a beautiful grateful Dead themed property! We stayed in sight one I had a picnic table and a fire pit Wood was close by and reasonably priced at five dollars!

A beautiful well maintained campsite. Kathy and Tim were very friendly and helpful. The eggs they gave us on arrival were delicious and there was plenty of firewood for us to burn on the cold October nights. Everything was immaculate and clean, especially the out house with some luxury touches. All the extra details show how much they care about their guests camping experience. The property was fun to explore as well as visiting all the animals on the farm. Easy to explore the area from their place, loved the small town general stores and local creameries. Look forward to visiting in warmer weather.

Weekend Trip to Grateful Acres Vermont

Absolutely wonderful place! The views of both sunrise and sunset are breathtaking, the location is perfect, and the property is very well maintained. Our host, Stephanie, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Grateful Acres is just 25 minutes from great restaurants and coffee shops, and only 5 minutes from the stunning Somerset Reservoir and nearby hiking trails. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

Weekend Trip to Penti Haven Farm & Horse Retreat

I had a great time camping here! It was quiet, private, peaceful and had a great little fire pit set up. There was water at the site also which made the trip so much easier for me. The land was beautiful. Marcus was communicative and helpful and even brought some more firewood when I ran out. I hope to go back there again next season.
