We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily return. The campground offers great value, especially with the cash discount, making it one of the more affordable options we've found.
The staff and campers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A standout feature is the 24-hour clubhouse, which became a great place to relax, charge devices, play pool or foosball, and get out of the rain. During our stay they even hosted a Father's Day breakfast, which added to the sense of community.
The tent sites are spacious, wooded, and private, with plenty of room between campers. The main washrooms and showers are a bit of a walk from the tent area, but there is a clean, well-maintained portable toilet nearby.
The roads into the campground are a little rough, but we had no issues in an SUV. The peaceful setting and mature trees more than make up for it.
The location is also excellent—close to Greenwich, Cambridge, and Shushan, as well as grocery stores, laundry facilities, hiking trails, and other local attractions.
Overall, this is a friendly, affordable campground with spacious sites, excellent amenities, and a great location for exploring the area. Highly recommended.

This campground is easy to park with a convenient bathroom and showers that are fairly clean. Toilets were cleaned both mornings. The last shower stall is large enough to get clothes away from shower area. The shower heads are intelligently placed facing toward the back wall and there was plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are reasonably priced. We were there late in the season and they were doing some work with chain saws. Perhaps in preparation for the next season. Absolutely no managerial people spoke to us and the office was closed when we arrived. We just went to our reserved site.

Highly recommend Lake Lauderdale Campground!
The owner was so kind - he even waited for us when we arrived late to make sure we knew where to park and to answer any questions.
The place is magical, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Waking up to that view in the morning was such a treat!
Of course, there are full hookups (electricity, water, and dump).
We had an amazing experience here and truly hope to come back in the future!

My sisters and I had an amazing time. We booked one of the tent sites for a long weekend. The sites were in great condition, everyone we met was incredibly friendly, the bathroom/shower area was cleaned daily. We couldn't have picked a better spot and definitely plan on going back! Also, if you love beer and dogs then hit up Argyle Brewing and all the cute shops right along that same main street in Greenwich, only a 15 min drive!

We came for the Saratoga Springs Jazz Festival and we're looking for a place to stay in our van. This was a very nice camp. Clean bathrooms, lovely view. Definitely would stay again.

I stayed in a tent site for almost a week while teleworking.
AT&T coverage was good enough for my work (I was using an external antenna); other campers had also mentioned AT&T was best here. The campground DOES have wifi, but, that is only accessible from sites which are nearest the bath/shower building (ie, RV sites.)
Tent sites are generously spaced apart, and flat. The tent area is under a canopy of tall trees; really beautiful views. If you want a "camping in the woods" feel, with hot showers, you will not be disappointed here.
I appreciated that the tent area had it's own chem-toilets (for late night bathroom stops) as well as an outdoor sink and running water for dishes. I had no issue with bears, raccoons or critters.
The campground has showers, laundry, and a large, indoor "common room". Well thought out, but have also seen some years of use. The accommodations were all on par with many KOA's I've stayed at.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Many of the campers seemed "multi-month seasonal" in nature. This gave the place a cool "neighborhood" feel where everyone knew and took care of one another.
Finally, the "Lake Lauderdale" is in the area, but not "on campus." The lake is probably best reached by a short drive, or long walk along the road. I could not see the lake from the campground. It appeared that connecting land between the lake and campground was through private property.

This campground was lovely and the host was absolutely amazing. If you’re not a fan of being alone at a campsite/campground, I would highly recommend. It was populated, not terribly loud, spaced out nicely, and a beautiful place to be. 10/10!

Great place, great community. The primitive sites were beautiful, secluded with a 1 toilet and 1 sink for ask the sure. Sorry walk to warm showers and the clubhouse. Amazing people and owners, everyone friendly and welcoming. There is a 15 minute walk through the woods from the rustic sites to the lake. Perfect labor day weekend tent camping

Both owner and campground manager are AWESOME 💯. This was our first time ever moving our RV and to be totally honest this campgrounds are breath taking, watching the sunset over the surrounding mountains is a memory that we will never forget. About the staff, they are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I booked and paid for a 50amp site, got a 30amp site. Struggled to get in 20psi for water pressure. Asked the neighbor and he said the same thing. No sewer. The site is grass but completely mushy - Gave up trying to level.
The sunset was beautiful and I could dump my trash. But was the first time, I couldnt wait to just leave and get to my next Hipcamp.

We used Lake Lauderdale as a one night stop on our way to Maine. The staff is very friendly! The campsite was easy to get in and out of, and was very spacious! We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here one night on our trip from MN to ME. Wonderful campsites and staff. We should have stayed longer! We missed out on tubing the river and enjoying the community feel of the place.

Got in late - camp host escorted me to my site after full explanation of campground amenities and things to know. Since campsites were not full, host let me choose what I needed - site 40 has a nice flat spot and I could unload easily from car for my overnight stay. Once you get back to the primitive loop from the RV sites, very quiet and rustic - felt like a state forest site back there! Clean showers and nice common lodge area.

Amazing site! The woods were beautiful and it was a truly wonderful and peaceful stay. MaryAnn was the absolute best! If you are on the fence, I’m telling you give Lake Lauderdale a go, you won’t be disappointed. 10 / 10, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful campground!! Clean bathroom/showers with truly HOT water and a surprisingly clean porta potty in the tent area. Very kind campground hosts, Maryann was especially friendly, helpful, and all around just wonderful. It’s not exactly primitive feeling as there are quite a few neighbors, but this site was very big and only had neighbors on one side and then a bit of a distance across the road so we definitely didn’t feel like we were on top of other sites like at some campgrounds. As primitive as you can get while still having showers and bathrooms, I’d assume! It wasn’t buggy at all which was a huge plus. Unsure how you’d get to the lake from the campground, we ended up leaving the campground and going to the public park for lake access ($2/car about 1 mile away) which was just as easy as trekking our gear through an unknown wooded path. Absolutely would stay here again, hopefully for longer next time, without a doubt— we had an absolutely amazing trip!

The campground was ok, lots of long stay/permanent stay RVs. Showers were hot and cleanish (a few big dead bugs but pretty normal for campgrounds) but located far from some of the sites, porter potty near site were cleaned and emptied frequently. Some of longer stays were blasting music (we love music but kinda ruined natural ambiance of woods)

We had a lovely time at Lake Lauderdale and even though we only spent one night, it was wonderful. We were met at the main office and taken to our camp spot. The camp was very clean and accessible. Sadly, we were disappointed with our stay. Granted, we did arrive late as we got delayed in traffic. We arrived closer to 9pm. The note on the office door said to (ring the camera bell) tried multiple times and eventually had to call. The gentleman that answered directed us to our site (we couldn't find it in the dark and grabbed an empty site, not in the woods but on a field) and said he was busy "taking care of some issues in the campsite and would be along shortly." He never arrived, which was unfortunate as we had prepaid for firewood. After over an hour my husband eventually went looking for wood and found some on an empty site. I went to the bathroom to discover overflowing garbage and sanitary dispensers and no paper towel and no heat. It was still that way the next morning, when I went to shower, with cold water which never warmed even after running it. Sadly, with exchange on the Canadian dollar it cost me over $50 for a bad stay.
