This was built as a personal vacation retreat and we gladly share it now with adventurers and romantics! Fire-pits, comfortable outdoor furniture, and plenty of room to roam will make this unique stay memorable, relaxing, with absolute privacy with stunning views. The bespoke wooden Tower boasts 360 degree views of the surroundings. It is built on piers and has windows on the perimeter. A large table, outdoor chairs on the 2nd Level platform is an ideal space for gathering or picnicking. The 3rd enclosed level is furnished with a built in brand new queen bed and long custom built-in couch with a bar table and 4 chairs. Small fridge and Fan are available. The Cabin is fully equipped, applianced, and is furnished with a Full Bed in the Loft, 2 Twins in a Trundle Daybed, and a Cot and Blow Up are available. Full Kitchen, Shower, Toilet in the Bathroom. Renovation was completed in Late May 2022. There is electric heat, AC and a ceiling fan. We accept bookings all year round. 4x4 or All Wheel is strongly suggested. Kitchen is fully loaded and there are plenty of clean linens, blankets, and pillows. 2 Night Minimum Required Year Round, 3 Night Minimum for Major Holidays. Occasionally we accept one nighters, it is on a case by case basis. The 40 Acres are Pastured and Open but Wooded all around in every direction. There are no cut trails at the Retreat and as it is thickly wooded, we encourage our guests to come visit us at Slateville Farm where we have over 8 miles of our own trails, swimming holes, and our ever flowing cold spring. Enjoy any of the many national park trails within the Green Mountains or Adirondacks. Lake George, Schroon Lake, Lake St. Catherine, Bomoseen are all nearby as well as the Battenkill River for fishing. If you are a winter visitor, plenty of ski resorts are a little over an hour away like Stratton, Bromely, Okemo, or Killington to name a few. Come by and visit us down the road at Slateville Farm to enjoy our fresh produce/eggs, over 8 miles of private hiking trails, and numerous swimming holes. Firewood Pre-purchase Delivery Available! This 1-4 person A frame comes with 2 sleeping cots each with quilted pads, 2 hammocks with hanging space inside or out and plenty of space to pitch a tent all around, tent included. Down by the stream you'll find a fire ring with a cooking grill and outdoor seating. Inside the A frame you're provided with authentic oil lanterns and flashlights, gas cook stove, kitchen ware, food storage cooler and small table and chairs. 14 gallons of potable water is provided with a nearby stream for additional supplies. There is a small corner loo inside the A frame with a flushing RV type toilet and also a comfortable Adirondack outhouse with an ecological waste removing system. Although the A frame is unheated, there is a small propane space heater to take off the chill of a cool Adirondack evening. This 5-acre quiet paradise is surrounded by on site walking trails where the only sounds are the owls and an occasional airplane. Camp TedRock is close to many popular Adirondack adventures including nearby Crane Mountain, spectacular Garnet Lake, The Hudson River and many more. Top quality kayak packages are available upon request at an additional charge. The popular Lake George and Adirondack High Peak Regions await your exploration and provide endless adventures, all just minutes from your camp.
