We enjoyed the horse run in! The run in was clean and had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, hot tub, and fire pit. We found the dvd player, books, and record player charming. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed the town of Londonderry. While the listed rules were a bit overwhelming, Ben and Loana were very kind and hospitable and easy to deal with (it was only surprising bc the rules had set a bit of a different tone). I would highly recommend.

Fernando’s Cabin

The photos for Bent Apple Farm looked pretty intriguing at first glance and given the prices, we expected a nice stay. We decided on Fernando’s Cabin as we’re were only passing through and staying a short night and didn’t plan on an extended stay. The cabin does have its charm, and looking through the log-book, it looks like plenty of people enjoyed their stay in the past few years. In its current condition, however, we were quite disappointed. Given the price and additional $65 cleaning fee, we were met with a cabin that had dirt/sand on the floor, spider webs, many small flies, and bed sheets and towels that didn’t smell very clean. The hot tub setup was appealing, but the water smelled of mildew and the filters seemed unclean. Luckily, the rules online gave fairly clear instructions on check-out expectations. Inside the cabin, it felt like a scavenger hunt finding all the notes in sharpie written on the wall for the guests. If you’re looking for an unpolished, rustic adventure, you may be pleasantly surprised. Although, if you decide to stay here, I’d recommend bringing your own sheets, pillow, and towels. Hopefully the owners are able to renew the condition of this site, because it does have a lot of potential. Right now though, we’d definitely pass on staying here again.

Perfect getaway

I love staying at Fernando's cabin with my dog. They had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. The hot tub in the sauna were a real bonus. Loana and Ben were not in the least bit intrusive, but we're quick to respond when I had a question. Their sweet lab Simon greeted us as we were leaving. Would definitely return.

A stunning property with a slight view of mountains, we would definitely go back to this property but not to the cabin we rented, they have much better options for a slightly higher price and they are worth the upgrade Our cabin (Fernando) was clean enough on the inside, the bed was super comfortable and had all the necessary, cooking needs. We loved finding out that they have a diskgolf putter course.

Be aware there is an offleash dog on property!!! Rushed my dog as we were leaving (chased him into the car and wouldn’t leave the car until I honked at it multiple times) not very pet friendly! Cabin was clean and cute, hot tub was fun, views were great. Due to the dog issue I will not be returning but it would be great for a single traveler or a couple needing a spot for the night.

Rustic Charm & Amenities Galore

My siblings and I are obsessed with this place! It was larger than we expected, the kitchen is spacious, and the property's amenities (hot tub, disc golf, sauna, pond, etc.) were total treats! We appreciate the rustic charm and thought put into the fisherman-themed design. The outdoor shower and bath are a bit public (but maybe you're into that!).

Beautiful mini home with plenty of great amenities (hot tub, sauna, fire pit, kitchen, showers). Home is in a private area with great view of the nearby mountains and Vermont nature. It was easy to find during our visit (June), and served as a great "home base" for nearby activities.

Just what we needed!

Some of the cabins are closer together, but didn't feel it impacted our privacy, we definitely felt like the only two in the world while we were there. The walking trail isn't long but it's very pretty, as is the pond. It was just what we needed, highly recommended. We can't wait to come back and check out the other cabins!

The Equipment Shed / Art Studio

This place was lovely. Exactly what I expected from a place on HipCamp. The photos are accurate and Loana was easy to communicate with. We literally saw no one, and it’s a short distance to a grocery store if you need it, and many amazing hikes. If you love cooking like we do, make sure you bring the essentials, but the gas stove was awesome and there was plenty of fridge space (bring ice if you need it!) Would 100 percent stay again.

I loved my stay at Fernando's Cabin! I was worried about being too cold given the temperature outside but the cabin was so cozy, I had to actually to turn the heat down. The basics were all provided. I used my phone as a hotspot with no problems but there was also a hotspot in the cabin. The property is so beautiful and the hot tub was great. Looking forward to staying again !

A Wonderful Place to Stay!

An amazing place for a long weekend getaway! The treehouse cabin was perfect and we loved getting to bring our 3 small dogs along for the trip! There was so many spots to relax - the sauna, the hot tub, the hammock. And there was plenty of land to explore. It’s secluded but still close by to shops and restaurants.

Amazing getaway at Kloki! So relaxing and peaceful. Was like a mini retreat with the sauna and hot tub. We also brought our 2 german shepherds and they loved it. Bed was super comfy. The views were beautiful. Didnt see anyone the whole time we were there.

Loved staying at the barn! Clean, beautiful property and the hot tub / sauna was such a perfect touch. Loana got back to me right away with any questions I had. Very roomy and the kitchen was great! The Equipment Shed / Art Studio

My family stayed at Bent Apple Farms and it was amazing! I highly recommend it and we will be back. The stay was a good balance of true rustic with modern amenities. The cabin was clean and well equipped with a full kitchen. The hot tub was a nice touch. We took full advantage of that. We ventured out during the day and came back at night to cook dinner and spend time with the family. I believe we are truly a little closer as a family from our stay. Thank you very much!

Overall it was very pretty on the inside. We were expecting rustic, wood and raw and for sure that's what we got. We loved how the cabin looked on the inside and the vibes of the place. On the other hand we thought it was much more secluded than it was. We were right near another cabin, we expected a view to maybe see animals outside the windows and there was no view at all. No curtains in the cabin at all, very weird when people are walking around the property but it was something we got use to quickly. We had to clean the place, sweep, counters, take trash out and ect. I get picking up after yourself and making sure it's not trashed/messy but the fact that we had to clean the cabin back to tip top shape before leaving is a little extra in my opinion. There's a nail sticking up in the kitchen that wasnt very nice to constantly step on as well as the board on the little patio on the way into the cabin had no support so when stepping on it flexes and should be fixed. The outlet above the bed in the loft doesn't work at all either. But again the inside of the cabin is beautiful and everything we expected. The outside of the cabin/ views was nothing like what we were expecting so a little bit of a disappointment.

Cozy Treehouse Getaway

This was the perfect spot for a two night get away with my husband for our anniversary. We enjoyed the comfort and coziness of the tree house along with the peaceful views throughout the property. The hosts were extremely helpful, would absolutely return again.

This place as well as the other property that we've stayed at, the boat house, are set in a beautiful location and very well set up inside with great themes and all modern appliances and comfortable amenities. Loanna has been a very accommodating and attentive host. We'll definitely revisit

Enjoyable Stay

The Horse Run was charming but the outdoor shower area is a bit run down and did not look at all like the photos. I was looking forward to an outdoor bath but the tub didn’t look clean and the area itself was full of mildew & messy with dead plants and an old charcoal grill thrown about. I just feel like it could be shown more love and be cleaned up. The inside could use a good dusting. I did catch an amazing sunset my first night and those sights were very memorable. The hot tub was a nice touch. Loana was very helpful and responsive when I had any questions. Overall I enjoyed my stay but think it could be a 10 out of 10 if it were cleaned up to the looks of the photos.

The host were personable and easy to communicate with. We stayed in the Barn. The kitchen was amazing the boat room was fabulous (although we didn’t use it) and for the most part the upstairs bedroom was fine. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. It would take a few up grades to make it much more comfortable. The flush was awful to use and too much rust the same with the tub. I realize they are going for a rustic look but it was not a comfortable situation. The hot tub was awesome and the outdoor shower was great but needed a little more privacy. We were disappointed the propane was empty on the grill and we asked twice to have it refilled to no avail. We ended up cooking burgers on the fire pit. They were okay but not what we wanted to do. If the bathroom was upgraded we would definitely think about going there again and also recommending it to others.
