Peaceful Private Campsite, BYO Tent
Emma was a fantastic host. We had both a scheduling issue and a tech issue with the platform, and her response was quick, detailed, helpful and friendly!

We had a great time At the Green Mountain Homestead Getaway! We had no issues finding the driveway into the property and were able to get settled in pretty quickly. We stayed at the forested campsite. Once we got set up, Emma came to check on us and to see if we needed anything. She also brought a large blue water container that we could fill from the side of their guest house located next to the campsite. We enjoyed being able to hang out by the fire pit, watching and listing to the birds. We enjoyed our visit and can't wait till we can visit again!

Milkweed and Monarchs i.n the Meado
The views from the Milkweed and Monarch Meadow were spectacular as were the Monarchs! No amenities, sporadic Verizon service. The vegetable gardens are spectacular!

Nice area, friendly host and great big friendly dog! Emma shared some produce with us which was great and we would be happy to stay again.

Emma and her family were amazing hosts.. This is everything you're looking for if youre truly looking to get away from it all and get back to nature. 10/10 recommend and will absolutely be coming back for another visit.

Peaceful Private Campsite, BYO Tent
This was my first camping solo trip and first HipCamp experience. Emma was very welcoming and met me shortly after I arrived (actually one of her chickens greeted me first! 😉) . She was friendly with a jug of water in hand. She was easy to book with, especially considering it was a last minute decision to go. She also offered some local site suggestions. The location of the site was nice, however there the second site was not far away. There was a group - they were not roudy or obnoxious but I could see them from my site. I thought it would be more private. I had also added the firewood on to my checkout, but didn't have any at the site. I should note that I also did not bring this up when Emma came to greet me. I was able to use some wood I found, but it was wet and very difficult to get a good fire going. The street wasn't too far away, so I could hear cars often. The land and trails were beautiful. There is a small country store at the bottom of the street that serves coffee. The shop is quaint and adorable. Her two dogs came at different times too. Both were friendly and beautiful. One joined me on my little walk to scope out the area. Overall, it was a decent experience.
I think this would be perfect for multiple people going together! I also think this was a good first experience.
