Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water. Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4) We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Bring your SXS's for days of backroad riding that spans 4 counties (Perry, Ste Genevieve, Madison, and Bollinger). We camped over Memorial Day weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Sites were level, plenty of room, great picnic table and fire ring. We enjoyed the clean (and very nice!) bathroom/showers. Beautiful view, river access, feels remote but just minutes from town. 11/10, will be back.

Weekend Trip to Spring Lake Ranch

Spring Lake Ranch is a great low key spot for camping! We love the lake with docks and a small sand area. We enjoy swimming and fishing. The creek at the entry of the campground is a fun place to stop and let the kiddos play. The camper section is right next to the horses - we love to walk over and see them! There is also a great winery right up the road that is kid friendly. We packed up the kids and snacks and enjoyed an afternoon there! The spots could use some maintenance. The weeds were tall. Our campsite didnt have a picnic table, which was a bummer, but we were with friends so we just sat at their site most of the time. Overall, we love this campground and will continue to return!

Weekend Trip to Sinking Creek Ranch RVs & Glamping

Great place for a relaxing weekend. Hosts were very accommodating, and helpful. It's always easy to see, when owners take pride in what they are doing, and it showed here. The shower house was prestine and the coffee was a huge bonus, especially when packing up to leave on the final morning. The trails were great, and campsites were clean, and well marked. The only surprise here was that not every spot was booked at such a nice place! I will return, and plan to make this a frequent spot.

Property was easy to find and set up. They are about .5 mile from the lake and all it offers. Loved the concrete pads for our rig. It poured heavy rain all night and was so glad we were parked on solid ground. Having hook ups as well made for a comfortable stay. Was very quiet except for the occasional car going past on the road. Would definitely stay again.

It was a great experience camping at a farm. First time doing that for me. It was a great experience. They have a nice community kitchen where I could chat with other campers. That kitchen had some decaf coffee. I didn't bring any and I thought that was a nice touch. There's a nice pond and a bench for sitting and drinking coffee in the morning, too.

This was my first time camping on a farm. It was awesome! I wish I could've stayed one more day. I was there for three. There are a great variety of campsites, clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed meeting other campers at a communal outdoor kitchen. I spent my mornings at the pond where my dog had the best day of her life.

Spring Lake Ranch is beautiful! The horses and goats were such a nice treat. Spot 5 did not work for us due to not having a long enough electric cord but we were able to switch to a different spot. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Spring Lake Ranch

The lake was gorgeous. We had a fun time exploring with our dog and the RV spot was super easy to set up in. We can’t wait to come back this summer to hit the water.

Everything went well!! It was our second visit and our first time of the season this year. We had problems getting our electric working right and they helped us figure that out. Then, they noticed our water was leaking a lot where we had it hooked up so they helped us fix that which made our water inside the camper flow better than it ever has. We also went horseback riding. It was a super fun time. Our horses were great and our guide, Jonathan, the owner, was awesome! Had a great time talking with him. Everyone tha we talked to was super nice! We will definitely be back!

Appreciated the level pad for our travel trailer, the closeness of the shower house, the firewood provided, and the picnic table/firepit area locations for each camper spot.

Weekend Trip to Spring Lake Ranch

camp with a beautiful lake view, welcome to nature and ranch life with horse nays and goats, farm animals. Everything was great except for us the gravel rv park was rocky. Hard to walk on and Get the camper level. Grandkids couldn’t walk well on it but other than that a very nice campground.

1 night at Sinking Creek Ranch RVs & Glamping

Amazing spot, super private and great hosts. It is off the beaten path a bit. There is a bit of off-roading as the paved road ends about 2 miles before you get to your destination. The rv pads are a bit narrow if you have a slide and want to stay on the gravel. However it’s worth it!
