We have five campsites in 135 acres of acres of forest and ranch land in our working cattle and sheep ranch. Located in a serene valley in the Ozark Highlands, the Ranch has Sheep, Scottish Highland Cattle, Chickens, Ducks and Great Pyrenees livestock guard dogs (only in the sheep pastures - and they are friendly). If you want to meet our animals and see the farm we are happy to show you around!
This is a unique site located in the Ozark Highlands. Only 45 minutes from Cape Girardeau (a small river town on the Mississippi), and 45 minutes from the Arcadia Valley including Taum Sauk mountain (the highest point in Missouri), Elephant Rocks, the Johnston Shutins, and other beautiful areas in the highlands.
The farm is five minutes from Marble Hill, which is home to the Bollinger County Natural History museum which highlights the only dinosaur bones found in Missouri. The bones were found at a farm in Glennallen (a few minutes from our farm) as well as a great barbeque (Jay’s Restaurant) and a good catfish restaurant (Jers Restaurant). On the way to our farm, feel free to stop at the 1,700 foot deep artesian well to get a cool, refreshing jug of natural artesian well water – the water is free, but you have to bring your own containers!
We are two and a half hours southwest of St. Louis, and two and half hours northwest of Memphis.

This was a perfect primitive camp for us! The area had plenty of privacy with a beautiful scenery. Early mornings, next to the woods gave a good spot to drink some coffee and watch the wildlife. Easily accessible, and not far from town if you needed to make a quick trip.
Communication with Laura was friendly, quick and easy.
Definitely saving this spot for our next trip in the area:)

Very nice owner. The spots had plenty of room and were well laid out. I did have to use my mascerator pump to dump the tanks due to the sewer connection being uphill from our tank hook-ups. If your tank hook-ups were at the rear of your RV this would not be an issue but ours are forward of the axles. The park is in a good and quiet location.

I have a rooftop tent and really enjoyed this spot. I had a wonderful quiet evening. Love that there is a shower and restroom right there next to the sites. Hosts were very kind and extremely responsive. Oh! And they even provide wood for your campfire, which is awesome. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area again!

I had plans for an overnight stay here and was REALLY looking forward to it. On the day we were to drive from AL to the site, our running lights went out. Couldn't drive at night without the lights. Had to cancel our stay and stop at dusk elsewhere. We determined the 7-prong plug on the camper was bad. Bought a new one and installed it the next morning. The owners of the vineyard were very understanding. I can't say enough about how easy they were to work with from the initial reservation to our cancellation. They responded to questions, answering their phone quickly or responding quickly by email. I hope to go there next year! This will be a great place for you to pick!

It’s really a beautiful location overlooking the Ohio River. The site 4 is super convenient to the shower/bathrooms on site. Sites are long and level gravel - plenty long for a bigger RV.
We are only 25 ft long in a Class B camper van. We had to back up to use the sewer connections after plugging in overnight farther forward. It would have been fine with a Class A and the connections we had before. The women’s bathroom needs some work as the sink was draining to the floor and the floor drain.
The access to the Winery and the Due South restaurant was super (and super tasty) - and wonderful views. But, be sure to check on opening hours for both as it’s limited.
For the price, it was ok value. I wouldn’t call it a “Resort” however. I can’t imagine driving our old Class A rig towing on the roads to get there. But, with a B, it was fine, just a lot of turns on small roads.

We enjoy this peaceful and quiet venue. It was 97° when we pulled in so we elected to use a full hook up. I am new to RV world. I'm glad my brother-in-law had given me the advice to have a 30 amp power cord extension just in case I could not park in the right spot. I use my cord for the first time since sewer connection was about 30 feet away from the power box which seemed unusual to me, but I was prepared.
The Due South BBQ restaurant has a beautiful view of the Ohio river. The river is about 3/4 of a mile wide about 15 miles before it joins the Mississippi. We sat on the restaurants front deck with our cocktails and watch barges go by. We enjoyed ourselves so much we did not make it to the winery up the hill aways. We had great burgers and onion rings for supper. They have a large ramp where you could launch your boat. There is also a small dock were we saw a few fishermen trying their luck on Saturday morning. We would definitely stay here again if we ever back in this area.
