We live on 70 secluded acres adjoining the Shawnee National Forest area with some hiking opportunities, woods and water activities that we would love to share with you. Close to Garden of the Gods (10 min), Rimrock, Pounds Hollow, Belle Smith Springs, Lusk Creek and other trails. We are in the middle of the Shawnee surrounded by trees, our own lake, you can hike around and walk the land in solitude, yet we are only 25 minutes to Harrisburg. Although private, surrounded by trees, it is a very convenient location on hwy 68, 3 miles East of Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky. There is a 50 amp outlet available near the gravel pad. We have a 30’ cord available. Water is available. This is a single private site. No other campers at this location. We have an antique store 125’ away that is open to the public once per month and hosts occasional creative classes. The store cannot be seen from the camp site so you will enjoy complete privacy. Also note there is a paved bike trail across the highway so easy access for bicyclists. The pond is stocked with bass and blue gill for a photo op and release. If you would like a private shopping experience at Stoneybrooke, it can be arranged!

Fabulous! We arrived just as it got dark. The hosts greeted us to guide us to the spot to park. Super easy! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming! The camping site is beautiful. The dogs were free to run (and swim). It was peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend! We’ll be back!

I camped here with my husband and two young daughters. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. They were quick to give us a tour of the area and the specifics of the amenities offered. They periodically checked in with us during our stay to see how it was going or if we needed anything. Great people. There were canoes and two fishing poles, with lures, to use in both of their fish-filled ponds. They graciously offered us use of their fridge/freezer and some refreshments and popsicles inside. The salt water pool was everything you could want. A large 3 ft area for standing along with a deeper end for the slide and spring board. They offered several pool toys and life jackets. We were in the pool nonstop. The bathroom was clean and stocked with travel size soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and make up wipes. The pavilion kitchen was large with a microwave, toaster oven, and table top propane BBQ grill. The RV parking spot was well maintained gravel with a 50 amp hookup. Water connection if needed. We made such wonderful memories here. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and grazing horses was an absolute dream. The girls had an amazing time swimming, fishing, looking at the horses and running around the well maintained property. We will be back!
