Lower Elk Lake - Full RV Hookup

This is a recently acquired piece of land that we installed electricity, water, and sewer hookups for use with our RV.  Unfortunately we don't get to spend as much time as we would like and want to let others enjoy it when we cant.

Thompson Lake Water View

After offering tenting only for the last two years, we have stationed a newly renovated 2.5 bed/1 bath camper at the site. Starting May 2023 the camper will have full electric and water hookups, including air conditioning. Fresh Linens will be provided, but you will need to supply bath/beach towels. The campsite is located right on the fringe of our field and the lake overlooking the water and a few lake homes. A 10 foot bank leads to our private dock frequented by large mouth bass. Sunrise in the morning, and shade for most of the day. Guests have access to free use of a canoe, and firewood that can be purchased on site. Our small lake does have a public access for boats, and is frequented by bass fisherman looking to get off the beaten path.  Our house is 200 yards away if shelter from storms is needed.

Swan Lake Resort & Campground

⛺️ Since 1949, we've been a family-operated resort & campground on Swan Lake in Fergus Falls, MN. We offer lakeside cabins, tent camping, and full hook-up, pull-through RV sites. Here, there is time to slow down, room to breathe, and lots to explore.

🏖️ Soak up the sun on the sandy beach, hike through the hidden trails, and take the pontoon out for a cruise. Be sure to turn the tech off and challenge a rival to ping pong, crack a cold one, and explore the water on stand-up paddleboard. 

🍦 Bring the little ones and get messy at the arts & crafts table, catch a sunfish off the docks, and indulge in s’mores around the campfire. Don’t forget to show us what you got on the volleyball court and savor an ice cream at the camp store. Curl up in a hammock and get lost in a good book, smile at the flowers and gaze in awe at the night sky. Just be.

Maplewood RV Park and Camp

Located SE of Maplewood State Park, this region is known for the distinct landscape formed from glacial till. Framed by natural forest, rolling hills, wetlands, and mature pines, this site provides the feeling of seclusion. Centrally located just minutes from large bodies of water such as Heilberg, Star, Lida, and Dead Lake. 


The Land - Alexandria Lakes Area

Located outside of the city, this beautiful oasis offers much more privacy and serenity than a typical campground. The 2.5 acres offers plenty of room for large campers and small tents. With just a few sites, you will have company with some other hipcampers but also the privacy you want as you relax and enjoy living life.

** Starting October 1st, there will not be a toilet on the property due to the end of the season. Camping is still open but you'll need your own accommodations for the toilet. Thanks for understanding. **
