This is a newer campground to Rock County near Luverne, MN. This property is known as the "boy scouts" by the locals.
When we were kids we spent time on this property riding bike, horses, and exploring.
We have turned this 13 acre property into
22 site campground that we are excited to share with you.
Nestled in a bed of trees just 2 miles from I-90 and 1/4 mile South of the Luverne City Park. This campground has 12 sites with rural water and 20,30&50 amp electric at every site. Dump Station. 8 Full Hook Up Sites (Sewer, Water, Electric) Two small ponds and shade trees. Wifi. Shower House/Bathrooms.
Campers can enjoy the quiet place to relax and enjoy nature and wildlife, a perfect place for bird watching. We also have a paved bike trial that connects to the campground that leads to miles of trials around Luverne and out to the State park.

This property has 4 camp spots. Sites 1 and 4 have a boat landing. All sites have shades trees that can hold hammocks. All sites are right next to the lake. Site 3 has a dock that all can use. There is excellent swimming with a sandy bottom at the south end of the lake. The lake is stocked with perch in 2024 but has others as well. It is also close to many lakes that are good for fishing. I have a 14' fishing boat with trolling motor, a paddle boat, 2 kayaks, and canoe for campers to use for free. Firewood is available for $5/day. There is some hiking on the property and much near by. Biking is also good with small lakes nearby to visit. The camping here is very peaceful with wonderful views and the wildlife is awesome! 120 volt power is at all sites and 220 can reach sites 2 and 3. There is warm showers and flushing toilets. Also all sites are drive through on hard ground grass. Grates are provided for cooking over the fire. There is Wi-Fi internet that reaches sites 1-3

The 80-acre property is carved out of a Norway pine plantation. Sites are approximately 10,000 square ft. in size with about 50 ft. of trees between each site for semi-privacy. We have tried to maintain a balance of nature while making the sites as RV friendly as possible. Start your morning with a perfect view of the sunrise (site 2), or a more shaded, sleep-in a bit (site 1) along with your favorite morning beverage. Site 3 is a large grassy area with tree cover for tents or small vehicles, and a sunrise/sunset view. Feel free to explore the property and you will find a wooded grove and dirt walking path, native plants, wild life--deer, squirrels, pheasants, eagles, hawks, fox, coyote, raccoon, etc. We have 2 fire pits on the property, one at site 1, the other at site 2. You are welcome to bring a portable fire ring or BBQ. We have a vegetable garden you we welcome to admire or get veggies from if they are ripe. We also have a trampoline with surrounding net if there is anyone interested in jumping on that. There is a basketball hoop located by site 1. The outdoor bathroom and guest patio area is also located near site 1. We have a few animals that roam the land, a black lab named Emma, she is 13 years old and friendly as can be but if she is outside she will greet you with barks and running with excitement to see who you are. She does not jump on people. Sometimes she will get territorial with other dogs but is fine after an introduction. So if you are traveling with dogs, a heads up is appreciated! We also have farm cats and egg laying chickens. Take a walk on our country road or into town, approximately a mile and a half to restaurants, visitors center at the Jolly Green Giant Statue, hardware stores, Shell gas station & food mart or access to miles of paved trails around the town. Explore and have fun locating the dozens of "Little Sprouts" (baby Green Giants) around town. There is a very nice City swimming pool with diving board, slide, lap pool, zero depth pool all the water features, lounge chairs, umbrella's, concession stand, showers... located on the South end of Main Street in Blue Earth. Very easy entrance and exit to Blue Earth, site is located at the intersection of Interstate 90 & HWY 169.

We have a nice, fully private outdoor shower with hot water available for $2.50/shower. Guests can pay on-site via our posted QR codes or cash box.
We're also available for other events like birthday parties, intimate weddings, and group gatherings at our gazebo and/or 20ft x 40ft party tent.
Several lakes in the area provide numerous options for fishing, boating, and hiking. And nothing beats those evening country road walks while agate hunting!
Other area attractions include Mini golf in Cambridge, public aquatic center with water slides in Mora, and several state parks an hour or less away.

Enjoy 10 acres shared between 2 sites! The two campsites are large and can accommodate approximately 6 tents comfortably at each. If more is needed let us know we have room and can accommodate. There is a shared bathroom/changing room and trash/recycling between the sites. There is a hand pump well left of the last gate if you need to fill up on drinking water just make sure you have a container for it. Site includes a picnic table and firepit and many acres with downed trees to salvage. Pre-purchased firewood can be picked up at the farm stand, you can also purchase more there if needed. This area includes a back pasture and woods with trails throughout for walking/mountain biking. There are many horse trails in the area, if you want to bring your horses that is fine as long as you bring containment for them and clear it with us first. We are approximately 1 mile from a rum river access. There are multiple river trip options from our property. We are also 3 mins from Lake George and the Rum River Regional Park for swimming, biking, fishing, boating, and more paddling. There is a Bills gas n grocery as well as a G-will liquors less than a minute from the property. The Ponds golf course is about 4 mins away as well. If you are looking to hit downtown Anoka that is a straight shot and approx 12 mins away. This site is on an active hobby farm that has dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and multiple gardens. We have a farm stand by the road where we sell items such as fresh roasted coffee, eggs, BBQ sauce, pickles, maple syrup, hot sauce, and more! We are very pet friendly and like to meet new furry faces, so feel free to bring them along!

Fall is quickly arriving! We are a small, 15 acre property, that's located within one hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul. Our farm has wooded trails, bonfire pits, with amazing sunrises and sunsets. It is quiet and very peaceful. Our little town is 10 minutes from most shopping, with multiple restaurants minutes away. It's also very close to lakes and rivers for kayak/canoe enthusiasts, boaters, or visiting those parks for hiking, swimming and more.
We offer multiple locations to camp on the property. There is a concrete pad with (2) 30-amp electric and (2) water hookups. The 2 sites with hookups are very level and easy to park on. There are many other areas to park and camp, with access to water for filling up tanks, and an outhouse for bathroom needs.
Disc golf, bean bag, and ladder game are available upon request. Firewood available for a small fee.
Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and under owner's control at all times when outside. Maximum of two pets per site.
The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely amazing with abundant wildlife all around to gaze at and enjoy.

Peaceful spot not far from st paul or Minneapolis. If the composting toilet is new to you it may be a slight adjustment but it literally doesn't smell bad at all and easy to understand how to use it. Trails are minimal but nice. Overall cool little spot there I enjoyed it and no complaints or problems.

The lake is great for swimming, very few mosquitos, huge private site and a great host. Jim brought us fresh eggs again. His dog Roxy is also a sweetheart. Thanks again Jim. The camp is exactly like the pictures. Beautiful and well maintained. The lake was great for swimming and the beach area was perfect. Every amenity you could wish for was available! Sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards, life jackets, volleyball net and volley ball, soccer goals, game room with many games in a cool old garage, slack line… And I’m probably forgetting stuff. We tent camped at site T3 Firefly - which was a perfect little nook that felt private but was close to everything, and with a lake view. The only downside was a bit of a walk to the bathroom. Worth it!
The owners were very kind and helpful also. We had a 4 day stay. No one asked us to move anything or change anything. (Some other reviews made me worry that owners might be intrusive or picky but that was not our experience! Quite the opposite.) We had a tent, a canopy, three people and two dogs. We all had a great time and would definitely come back!

Our stay was great! Site 1 was a great mix of sun and shade during the day so we could get some sun but also cool off when needed, bonus for the way the trees lined up to give us a great tunnel view of the sky at night while sitting around the fire. It was a perfect spot to feel remote at the site, but have the ability to go into town for supplies so we never felt uncomfortable. We took this trip to play disc golf at Blue Ribbon Pines about 10 minutes away from the site and The Preserve in Clearwater, so great location for any disc golfers that want to do a destination trip and stay at on a nice property. If we ever want to make the trip up to play in the future we will make sure to visit again!

An all around wonderful location! My husband and I stayed for 2 night with our kids 14&15yo girls and 2 dogs. The site was clean and spacious. The perfect combination of shade and sun. Our dogs had plenty of space to play. The dock is East facing and perfect for coffee at sunrise. There are quite a few lily pads, they were easy to navigate with our paddle board and no bother to us. Eagle lake is incredibly close for swimming or to launch a boat as well as the town Battle lake for wood/ice or Dairy Queen! The critters we saw and heard were the best part. A family of swans with their baby and the coyotes yipping for a little bit at night were the biggest hits. We would definitely stay again.

The land was great and the sites were well kept. Just be aware that site 9 has a small strip of forest along the bank to trek through to get to the stream. As I think most of the sites do. And the tent clearing is not very wide, but it is deep. And it is close to the road, though vehicles rarely go by. And unfortunately there were some nearby neighbor dogs that incessantly barked all day and night. But overall it was a very nice camp spot.

We had a group of 10 and split up between the three sites. This property is fantastic! Gary and Catherine were very responsive and gracious hosts. It was a great set up for a group that wanted to get a "real" camping experience but still have some comforts of home.
One piece of advice if you want to sleep in - pack some extra earplugs. The rooster on the property takes his job very seriously!
