FAQ: Our cabin is an off grid (very limited power, now way to charge or plug in AC devices) post and beam structure that we built 9 years ago. It has a full kitchen, wood stove, and screened porch. There is a large (150 gallon) tank of water for doing dishes and camp showers but we do not suggest drinking it. There is a generous supply of lanterns (both battery and inflatable solar) flashlights and string lights for lighting. We have wired lights that run off DC power when there is enough solar and we provide some battery packs for charging phones. We highly suggest bring some way to charge any of your personal electronics. There is no reliable way to do that in the cabin.
This is a small two story timber frame cabin off grid and secluded deep in the woods. It has a separate outhouse as well as shower stall to use the solar shower bags in. The cabin has a king sized bed in the loft with a child size fold down bunk above it; there is also a pull out couch on the first floor. As well as a kitchen, screened in porch and fire pit. Linen, dishes and utensils are not included please bring all that you need. There is a propane 4 burner stove with oven and solar shower bags. Trash and campfire wood is included. We are very busy with kids and work, we try our best to clean and re-supply between guests but it is not always possible, please let us know if something needs attention!

We maintain pollinator habitats, tend an fledgling orchard of heirloom-variety fruit trees, and conserve rare heritage-breed animals, including Tamworth pigs and Scottish Highland Cattle. Our shared love for Celtic folk culture has blended naturally with our love of sustainable agriculture to create Tir na nOg Farm. Today, the work of restoration continues with the help of farm partners, family, friends, WWOOFers, and other volunteers. Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Downtown Norway has quaint shops to browse! Norway Lake has a public beach and boat dock. Many hiking trails nearby-Noyes Mtn, Patch Mnt, Singpole and Streaked Mtn to name a few. ATV trails (also can be used for off-road biking)onsite connect with other towns for many miles and hours of riding. Plenty of lakes/rivers for kayaking. Casino, race track and breweries for night life. Oxford Hills has much to offer.

You'll arrive at our barn and home, probably greeted by a variety of animals.
Walking past the house and through the field towards the tree line, you'll arrive at our tiny cabin situated on a hill with the salt marsh below.
The tiny cabin is furnished with a full sized bed, a wooden bench, beehive working woodstove, and shelving. There are candle lanterns provided, however we suggest also bringing a few flashlights.
Depending on the season we have farm vegetables and eggs available, kayaks available upon request to use to explore the salt marsh and harbors right out in front of the cabin.
A short drive and you can find numerous hiking areas and beaches or take the longer 1 hour and 15 min ride to Bar Harbor.
The cabin is not visible to the main house, though sound may travel. You'll have a beautiful view of the water facing west for sunsets. We access the water and trails around the fields foraging for berries with our kiddos and dogs, along with rotating the grazing animals though we will provide ample space to respect your privacy.
A small gas grill and cooler can be provided.
Cabin has no electric or running water. Water can be accessed from the main house and/or barn pumps depending on season, however will need to be brought down to cabin. Outhouse is located nearby.

Watersrock Woods Campsites are private tent and remote camping locations in the beautiful Southern Maine forest. Site #1 is a decent sized remote tent site with spots for 1 -3 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 6 guests. Site #2 is a very large remote tent site with spots for multiple tents, multiple vehicles and 8 guests. Site #3 is the smallest remote tent sites with spots for 1 or 2 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 4 guests.
All 3 sites are mostly surrounded by 6' natural berms with lots of pine trees between each campsite creating additional privacy. They all have a picnic table and fire pit. Campsite site #2 is a larger space with plenty of room for multiple cars and 5 -6 tents. It has a propane barbecue grill, picnic table, fire pit, hammock, outdoor patio set with seating for 6.
A shared portapotty is on site and cleaned weekly from May 1st - October 31st. There isn’t electricity or running water and there is spotty cell phone service but a its great wooded spot for some remote camping in Southern Maine.
There is a nearby tote road for guests to go on nature hikes. (5 - 10 miles) There is a path that leads down to a brook that abuts the property and there is a 1/4 mile dirt road that leads to the Little Ossipee River that's great for wading, fishing, tubing, etc.. There are also free local public swimming spots within 10 minutes in any direction that don't get a lot of traffic and hiking trails in abutting towns.
The town of Limerick has a grocery store, hardware store, convenience store, a post office and dollar general for your other needs. (Within 5 - 6 minutes) It is a small town of approximately 3300 people. They say if you blink you'll miss it. It is very peaceful. Great for camping, fishing, glamping or relaxing! We love it out here and hope you will too!

Jamberry Farm owners Adrienne and James met in 2013 while living in Denver, Colorado. They spent 10 fun-filled and adventurous years traveling throughout the Western U.S. After having their first child in 2019, they moved to Oregon to be part of a team opening an inn on the Oregon Coast.
When COVID-19 began in early 2020, the couple saw the writing on the wall and decided to make their dream of owning property in Maine a reality. In August 2020, they purchased Jamberry Farm and moved to Harrison, Maine.
The 33-acre budding homestead sits atop a hill in Southern Maine’s Lakes and Mountains Region. Harrison is a charming small town situated between Long Lake and Crystal Lake. In town, you’ll find everything you need for a visit to small-town New England. There are two general stores, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, a library, and a post office.
Should you need or want access to more, it’s a short drive to the larger towns of Norway and Bridgton, about an hour to Portland, and approximately 45 minutes to North Conway, New Hampshire, and the White Mountains. A 5- to 20-minute drive will take you to beautiful scenic hikes, cozy lake beaches, and meandering rivers where you can float or fish.
The farm is truly in the perfect location to experience all that this part of New England has to offer.
James and Adrienne have always enjoyed hosting friends and family from near and far. Adrienne has a degree in Hospitality Management and spent her career working in the service industry until she stepped away to stay home with her children. James is a carpenter whose craftsmanship shines through in projects all around the property, including their flagship rental accommodation, The Tiny House.
Jamberry Farm is a place where both of their experience and expertise come together to create a unique and personalized experience for their guests. It is their hope that when people come to stay at the farm, they feel safe, connected to the nature around them, and grounded in the peace and stillness that a slower life on a farm has to offer.

Hidden Brook is located on a small family-owned vegetable farm five minutes outside the village of Cornish, Maine. Three generations of farmers live here presently, but our family has been working this land since the mid 1700’s.
Cornish is a pretty special place to live and visit because we are about 50 minutes drive from both the city of Portland on the coast and the White Mountains to the west. There are tons of local hikes here in the foothills, two big rivers to float or paddle, dozens of swim spots, good fishing, and a lively little village with at least 7 antiques shops, local art, and some pretty darn good restaurants. Our neighborhood even hosts some of the best musicians in the world each July at The Ossippee Valley Music Festival. Yeah, we got it all going on! Come play with us or just chill at Hidden Brook.
So far, we have one spot open for “glamping”, The Bus, but we will add the Wagon this fall.
The Bus, an engineless 1973 Bluebird School bus is pretty pimped out. Though off the grid, cell reception is pretty good and rechargable lighting is provided. Our outdoor kitchen, on a spacious deck ( fenced in for kids ) includes a heavy duty propane stove, Yeti cooler and pots and pans. Indoors, there’s a slop-bucket sink for tooth-brushing (dishes are to be washed out on the deck ), a small woodstove to take off the chill come fall and a nice big fire pit outside. Wood is provided. Buses can get hot in summer, so we put ours in a shady little grove of ancient oaks amongst the remains of the farm’s original stonework and installed screens the full length of the bus. We built a compost-style outhouse and a beautiful outdoor shower we call “The Cold Drizzler” down in the old homestead cellar hole. Kind of a secret garden bathroom : )
Inside is a full-sized bed for one or two people and two cot-sized “75 long bunks, sleeping a total of four humans. Quality mattresses, sheets and blankets with a change of sheets and tons of pillows ought to provide a comfortable night’s sleep. Four towels and face cloths provided. Coffee and “pour-overs” on site as well as silverware, bowls and plates. All you really need is ice for the cooler and your food - or just go out to eat.

Directions to Hidden Brook and the Bus:
You will be given directions to an address once you book but please make sure that you follow the signage to the bus carefully, otherwise you’ll end up at the wrong property. Drive until you see two giant, eyeballs attached to a telephone pole, and the bus will be immediately after that on your right. Thank you so much.

We invite you to come stay at our location in the Western Maine mountains. We are located off of the Long Falls Dam Rd in Carrying Place Township, in the heart of Maine's wilderness. Our property offers beautiful mountain views; many nearby hiking trails; nearby swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking at Flagstaff Lake; along with numerous back roads to explore and look for wildlife. You can also find ATV trails about a half hour drive away in the town of Kingfield. Ensure you are guaranteed a spot just outside the Bigelow Preserve and everything it has to offer. Our sites sit behind a locked gate that is monitored 24/7 with a security camera. Also, although we are remote, we do offer Wi-Fi for your convenience.
Please take note that our sites are remote. We may be right off a paved road, but the closest town with a store is a half an hour drive. Also be mindful that this is the Maine wilderness, there are wild animals that frequent our location, along with biting insects such as deer flies and mosquitoes. This truly is a beautiful location, but please be sure to pack accordingly for your stay.

My family would like to introduce you to Jay Birds Way, a privately owned 200+ acre haven with miles of dirt roads to explore. Conveniently located at the top of Murray Street and only a few minutes from downtown Bingham. The winding dirt roads are perfect for a bike ride or hike. Watch your dog flush a partridge or your little ones explore beautiful Jackson brook. Quiet solitude is what you will find here. There are no motorized sports allowed on this property. Sorry, but ATV access is not available.
North Country Rivers is only 5 minutes away for your rafting experience. Wyman lake has a wonderful public swimming area and boat launch 15 minutes away in Pleasant Ridge and the Bingham Kennebec River boat launch is just a few minutes away. Bingham in centrally located to some of western Maine's favorite destinations such as Rangely, Sugarloaf, Flagstaff Lake, Jackman and beautiful Moosehead Lake.

It's like staying over at your cool grandpa's property on the river. This is not a campground, it's even better. Just 3 tent sites directly on the river, quiet peaceful and beautiful. Lots of private trails to stroll and explore directly from camp.
Site one has a bit more shade than the others, for tent campers there is one or two mostly flat spots to pitch a tent. The rest is on bit of a slope.
Easy access to the water just down a small hill, great for a dip or paddling.
Clean portapotty at the site with a metal trash can was very convenient.
John was super nice and friendly, came down to chat a bit after we arrived and before we left.
Overall it feels like you are way up in the wilderness while still being close to civilization. Only negative was some highway noise in the evening and occasional gunshots in the distance. 4.5/5 for this spot! Would stay again.

A great tucked away spot! The fire pit has a grate for cooking which was wonderful and the instructions were very easy and simple to follow for entrance and exit. The gate being secured made the site feel safe and comfortable!

Fantastic stay at the view! Fire grill was perfect for all our needs and the site was just downright gorgeous in fall. Bathroom was a short walk away and well kept for a porta potty. Would keep in mind the area is close to Long Falls Dam road so you can hear trucks and cars very easily. This site is also right on the edge of a cliff/pit so be sure to pack plenty of stakes if winds in the forecast! Thanks for a great stay

What I would like to write here is how horrible the place was, but I can’t because that would be the biggest lie! Slippery rock was amazing! You will find peace and quiet. Canadian geese out on the river. Trails to pass through. And very welcoming hosts !!! I pulled in late at night, exhausted- after a quick dinner climbed into our little bed on wheels and fell asleep. Woke the next morning and all I could say was WOW! The fall foliage was amazing. The field had tall grasses in it that the dog just enjoyed to no end and the sun off the river.. spent that morning in the next day exploring John and his family are amazing!! I cannot wait to go back!!

The campsite was private and on the river bank. It had a private trash bend and toilet that was clean.
John met me at the gate and was accommodating by showing me to the campsite. I didn’t get to hear his story about the property but I hope he and his family are able to continue with the preservation of it.
I did get to hear loons call which brought a sense of nature and what the family is trying to preserve.
It was a wonderful experience and I would love to come back.

1 night at Green Apple Grove
My husband and I stayed on Jedidiah’s land as part of a road trip through Maine, and he was very welcoming. He was even kind enough to have a fire going for us in the wood stove upon our arrival and gave us a little guided tour of the space. Parking is tight, but as long as you’re familiar with the corners of your car and backing up, you should do fine. We would gladly stay again.

Beautiful, secluded but not far from town, and great access to the Sebasticook River! Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Belted Kingfisher, Pileated Woodpecker, Spotted Sandpiper, Palm and Yellow-rumped warblers, and a muskrat were all seen and/or heard along McCarthy road and the campsite property.
Jennifer was easy to communicate with.
I loved it and will want to return.

1 night at Fairwinds Farm Glamping
The star stream was a really nice stay. Clean, retro and spacious. The site is private and everything is well taken care of. The outhouse is very nice. Just watch out if you use the coordinates provided (rather than the address) it brought us to a neighbors land but he was nice enough to lead us to Fairwinds farm. Also bring ear plugs if its supposed to rain, the drops hitting the metal roof of the rv can be quite loud. Also acorns falling on our car freaked us out at first so dont be alarmed if you hear a loud sound! Thanks for the great stay.

Weekend Trip to Maine Guide Company
Really wonderful little cabin. Abol had all the right touches for a great weekend away including a view of the woods that is beautiful as you go to sleep. Randy provided water, but there was also extra wood under the cabin, an extra chair (which I didn't need but was nice to see), a trash barrel, and the ability to collect firewood from the property which was ample.
Great experience - would definitely go back!

Weekend Trip to Lulu's 100 Acre Wood Cabin
Such a cool spot! Beautiful view of the mountains from the porch. Clean and cozy cabin. The host Linda puts thought and care into making sure guests feel welcome. Hand drawn maps for the area to explore, water for drinking and dish washing, outhouse well stocked and clean. Would definitely go back!
