The 100 acre wood located in the hills of Oxford County is a peaceful get away from the hussle and bussle of todays world. Recently selectively logged we discovered views of local mountains and decided to take advantage of the clearings. The cabin was built for me to steal away from the house and enjoy the wildlife, quiet, stars and silence. It is too peaceful to keep to myself so come and enjoy all that Norway Maine and the surrounding area has to offer! Learn more about this land: Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking. Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Please remember you will be required to remove trash and outhouse composting bag. Thanks and hope to see you at Lulu's 100 acre wood! Downtown Norway has quaint shops to browse! Norway Lake has a public beach and boat dock. Many hiking trails nearby-Noyes Mtn, Patch Mnt, Singpole and Streaked Mtn to name a few. ATV trails (also can be used for off-road biking)onsite connect with other towns for many miles and hours of riding. Plenty of lakes/rivers for kayaking. Casino, race track and breweries for night life. Oxford Hills has much to offer.

Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness of the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Land directly on ATV trails. Lakes, rivers and many hikes nearby in the Oxford Hills area. The 8x 12 covered tent pad is on a site that has a “ kitchen” area, enclosed covered “bath” area, picnic table and fire pit. Off the grid-no electric or running water, cell service is fine. 10 gallons of water provided for fire extinguishing and washing. 2 gallons fresh well water for drinkin. Park right at the site, if very low vehicle, can park by gate and short walk. Bring your tent and bedding. If tent exceeds the 8x12, there is a grassy area to set-up. Provided are: Pots, pans, utensil's which are washed between campers; trash bag, compost bags(read toilet area), dish soap, dish towels Grill for open fire cooking onsite. A few solar lights are provided. This is the woods of Maine-there may be rocks, roots around site. Be careful! Please note you will be required to remove trash and outhouse composting bag. Lulu's 100 Acre Wood Cabin
Lulu’s 100 Acre Woods is a lovely private retreat spot. Abundant peace and quiet with a beautiful view. Total privacy, no one in sight. My dog thrived being able to run free! There is even a trail behind the cabin leading up to a beautiful vista—a very nice sunrise spot. The road up to the cabin is an adventure; I had no problems in a Subaru Forester, just make sure your vehicle is high enough off the ground and can handle “off roading”. Once you get up to the cabin, you may well not want to leave. Linda has provided everything you might need, and was very welcoming. Directions are clear and she has maps of the property/nearby trails that are easy to follow. One of the best parts is the fresh mountain spring down the road. 💧🩵 As with all camping, prepare for insects. It’s a beautiful area to explore, and just as beautiful a spot to stay in place, unplug, and enjoy the peace. Thank you Linda for having us, and for sharing this amazing spot! Would definitely come again, I can only imagine the beauty of autumn! 🍂 🧡

If you don’t enjoy amazing views, a porch that you won’t want to leave, relaxing atmosphere, cozy cabin, inviting firepit, and a perfect getaway that you want to be adopted into the family so you don’t have to leave, then this is not the place for you. The trail up to the overlook is well marked. The cabin is awesome, the property is relaxing, and watching the weather changes over the mountains is amazing.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The check in instructions were super clear and easy to follow, and the cabin was everything and more! We had our two dogs with us and they were able to be off leash while we were there and they LOVED it. A dreamy escape from everyday life!

Lulu’s cabin is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature. We even had a doe grazing just 50 feet away for almost an hour! Our dog loved it too, and there are endless great hiking options within an hour’s drive. We had a wonderful stay!

The location was easy to locate and access. My dog and I were able to drive up and down the hill without issue. The area was all setup so perfectly. The fire pit area was beautiful and safely tucked up away from the cabin, with the outhouse on the opposite side. Waking up to a sunrise like this one was unforgettable. The night sky was so beautiful and so clear. It's was an exceptional experience to say the least! My dog and I are excited to come back again soon and spend more time out on the trails, that are only steps away from the front porch. ❤️

I almost hate to leave a review because I want to keep this little piece of heaven all to ourselves. Gorgeous views and just rustic enough, but still with key comforts. Cozy beds, cook ware essentials, outdoor "kitchen" station with a killer view, quirky little touches, and a great porch. The chipmunks (red squirrels?) kept our dog very busy "hunting". No worries, she didn't catch anything, they just teased her with their chirping. We watched the full moon come up over the trees and cooked dinner over the fire. Can't wait to come back!

Loved the property, the view, the trails, and the charming set up Of the cabin and outdoor kitchen/ cooking area. My only feedback is about the “composting” toilet which isn’t actually composting. I think it’s strange you are expected to take a bag of poop/ pee with you. Seems bizarre to me to not have a pit toilet or an actual composting toilet set up. Have never come across that before in many stays in off grid places. Quite frankly Id rather poop Outside then in a bag and take it with me to then throw out in the garbage.

Staying at Linda’s cabin was a real treat. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy and had views that were truly refreshing. My dog absolutely loved the space to explore freely. The outdoor area around the fire pit was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the night sky was absolutely captivating. Inside, the cabin was cozy and very inviting, making it a perfect getaway

The cabin is adorable and simple with rustic charm, but the porch is my absolute favorite part. The view is spectacular and it’s the perfect place to sit and stare or read a book. There’s a little outdoor kitchen area where my kids delighted in doing dishes, even though they would never do them at home. The pup also enjoyed sniffing around camp off leash. Bring dry firewood for campfire cooking and be sure your car can handle a bumpy ride, the driveway is very rocky. My Outback did ok, but my husband’s sedan would never make it. Also be prepared for a primitive toilet bucket situation.

Quiet, Quaint, Serene
Lulu's 100 Acre Wood Cabin
Lulu's 100 Acre Wood Cabin was like a little slice of heaven tucked away in the woods of Western Maine. This quant little cabin has so much character, and left me wishing I had built a getaway for myself so serene. Luckily, Linda built it to share. From the fully capable camp stove, to the stocked kitchenette; from the expertly built camp sink to the utility out house; you will feel fully accommodated and at ease here. Cozy up by the gas lamp or solar powered lights inside at night when you're not sitting by the beautiful fire pit. Explore the many easy access walking trail right outside your front door, or day trip into the charming nearby town centers. However you choose to use the space, I couldn't recommend Lulu's for a quiet weekend outing more.

Beautiful quiet cabin nestled in the woods. We brought our dog and was able to just leave him off leash all weekend, it was amazing. There's lots of little trails all around the cabin and a family of deer lives in the area that we saw multiple times a day. We cooked every meal outside over the fire and had plenty of drinking/washing water that the host left for us. You'll definitely need a 4WD car to get up the road to the cabin, especially if it's wet at all.

We love the cabin at 100 acre wood! It is so wonderful and cozy. Definitely need a vehicle with higher clearance and 4wd to get up the hill but once you’re there you’ll never want to leave!

We loved the porch, the view, the privacy, and the peace. Our dog very much enjoyed being able to run free. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug and relax. Bring a car with some ground clearance or you may not make it up the steep, rocky driveway. Our Outback did fairly well.

Me and my girlfriend had such a great time here! Cabin and amenities provided were awesome! So secluded yet so close to everything you need, even a lake to swim in. This is the spot if you want to get away with family and friends to have fun and/or get a little weird under the stars and trees!

It was amazing and private! The view was so beautiful we almost never left the porch. Our Tacoma made the hill up to the cabin but had it not, the walk would have been worth it!
