Botanica Retreat is a project of the Bioregional Conservancy and Reclamation Trust (BCRT), a registered educational not for profit organization dedicated to the Integration of Light and Land, healing assisted by the kingdoms of nature. Coming into a sense of harmony with one Self and others. De-stressing and relaxation are the first steps to healing any dis-ease. You are invited to play, stroll and relax in the meadows and northern forest lands of this 90 acre property. Enjoy a walk along the pond, the brook or the Medicine Wheel. The land offers a food forest of fruit, nut and sugar trees with gardens of wild edibles and medicinal plants. Botanica offers tent sites, yurts/yomes and RV spots (without hook up's). Indoor and outdoor bathroom facilities and showers are available. We host a communal camp fire if desired, and a hot drink at breakfast. We are a project in progress, turning a run-down potato farm to an aspiring center for education and planetary healing. Currently, we are recovering the farm house and adjacent structures with the generous assistance of a group of volunteers and we are endeavoring to bring the soil on the land back to life by making the land accessible to a nearby regenerative farmer. We offer you the opportunity for a rich and out of the box experience.

This site is a unique landscape feature built to host groups of campers in a circular pattern like a sacred circle on flat sod plat forms with drainage. The inner circle is surrounded by pear trees, the secondary and tertiary circles by cherry, plum, walnut, chestnut and ash trees. This place is close to the main indoor facilities with farm views. It is ideal for events, healing retreats, group gatherings and families as well as for individuals. It is located closest to the communal fire place and the Marai Yurt.

Honeymoon Suite is a site along the edge of our pond tucked in between trees like a nest, perfect for privacy,coziness and a great place to rest and de-stress. Best used for a single, couple or small family to retreat, if you wish to be more secluded and protected by surrounding trees. Access to communal composting toilet with soap, clean water and trash can. Indoor facilities and showers are accessible in the main building just a 2min walk away. A small camping stove is permissible as long as it is safely situated on a stable table off the ground.

This site is an insulated, 4-season yurt/yome 20 feet in diameter with wood stove situated on a generous platform near the edge of a wooded pond overlooking the farm with outbuildings, storage facilities and bee stands. The platform is close to a gravel road and can host your camping cook stove with work table, 4 camping chairs with table. It is near by the communal fire place, out house, 100 yards to indoor facilities and hot showers. You may drive your vehicle to the front porch, unload and park your vehicle back in the public parking lot of the property. Potable water is available depending on season due to danger of freezing in the indoor facilities or the at the main building out door spikett during the warmer parts of the year.

Solar yurt/yome

This 20 diameter insulated yurt/yome is located on a large platform with lots of space to sit outside. The site is surrounded by birch, maple, tulip and hemlock trees at the edge of a pond filled with wild life and overlooking a pasture area. Guests will be able to enjoy direct access to meadows, a creek and forest. Other guests might be in a couple of other secluded tent spots which are all private or semi private surrounded by tree groupings. The is also an excellent are for small group camping where everyone can have their own tent nooks yet the yurt plat form offers itself for group meals and get-togethers.

Mandala Circle with farm view
Coming to Botanica is like going to a European retreat. Our hosts are so gracious and generous. They made us welcome with a fire when we arrived and breakfast in the morning. Our children love the cow, chickens, bees... We felt far away in a place that is cared for from the heart and hands of those who love the land... and carry great wisdom to share. It is a place to come to reset and remember who we are as human beings.

This is a lovely place to camp!! The owner is so kind and generous, as well as being an effective communicator. I really appreciated the coffee and tea she provided in the morning. The site was clean and on a lot of land we were able to walk.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Martina's property. The yurt was cozy and we enjoyed walking on the property. Martina even made my daughter a delicious blueberry crumble for her birthday.
