There is a small well stocked general store,, a museum, cafe and miles of pristine trails and rocky beaches to explore. Bicycles can be brought on the passenger ferries and are a great way to get around and further explore the island. Our camp is on the site of our former organic farm called Cabin Creek Farm overlooking the ocean (a tidal estuary called the pool), where we grew flowers, herbs and veggies. You can even kayak directly to us at high tide. The sites are a combo of a mixed manicured deciduous and conifer forest and open spaces with ocean views. Surround yourself in the natural beauty of a working flower farm in Maine in this quiet, secluded location that's close to area beaches, lighthouses, and more. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.) We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road. Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight. 10 mins to grocery store (Hannaford) and gas stations 12 mins to local beaches (Long Sands and Short Sands) 15 mins to Portsmouth, NH 20 mins to Nubble Lighthouse 25 mins to Ogunquit, ME 35 mins to Kennebunkport, ME 45 mins to Portland, ME This is a working flower flower farm and on occasion there will need to be someone working in the field near to the campsite, often during the very early hours of the morning (5am during the spring and summer, later in the fall.) That said, we don't use tractors or any heavy machinery and we will always make our best effort to communicate this ahead of time.

Harrison is a charming small town situated between Long Lake and Crystal Lake. In town, you’ll find everything you need for a visit to small-town New England. There are two general stores, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, a library, and a post office. Should you need or want access to more, it’s a short drive to the larger towns of Norway and Bridgton, about an hour to Portland, and approximately 45 minutes to North Conway, New Hampshire, and the White Mountains. A 5- to 20-minute drive will take you to beautiful scenic hikes, cozy lake beaches, and meandering rivers where you can float or fish. The farm is truly in the perfect location to experience all that this part of New England has to offer. James and Adrienne have always enjoyed hosting friends and family from near and far. Adrienne has a degree in Hospitality Management and spent her career working in the service industry until she stepped away to stay home with her children. James is a carpenter whose craftsmanship shines through in projects all around the property, including their flagship rental accommodation, The Tiny House. Jamberry Farm is a place where both of their experience and expertise come together to create a unique and personalized experience for their guests. We are off the beaten path in the forest near the White Mountain National Forest. A 6 to 8 minute hike from your site gets you to a private lake. We have two local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure. There is a beautiful hike to a mountain lookout view of an amazing panoramic of lakes and mountains including Mt Washington and Pleasant Ski mountain right from your site. A perfect stopping point during your trip along the Maine seacoast. We are a 22-acre family homestead located just three miles inland from Route 1 and Penobscot Bay in picturesque Belfast. We are also a five-minute drive from Swan Lake, known for its fresh, clean, and deep waters—great for boating, fishing, and swimming. We have two designated overnight parking spots overlooking our little pond. Each spot includes a picnic table and a fire pit. We also have one or two additional spots on a concrete pad, one of which has an RV pole with 30-amp service. Be sure to say hello to our friendly free-range chickens that roam the property. Complimentary fresh eggs will be provided for your breakfast.

Weekend Trip to Private Waterfront Cabin/Campsites

We had a fantastic weekend at Leketa and Hillary’s land! The camping spaces are secluded and quiet, right along the water. The tent platforms are very helpful, and the grill grate provided is ideal for cooking over the fire. Having coffee and watching the sun come up over the water was absolutely perfect! There are tons of birds, we heard eagles and loons each evening. Next time we’ll make sure to bring our kayaks and fishing poles. Leketa and Hillary are amazing, they made us feel right at home and communication is on point! We can’t wait to come back! 😊🏕️

Overall I had a wonderfully peaceful stay! Donanne’s instructions for getting to the camp site were spot-on. The site was well-kept and exactly as advertised. I think the only thing I’d add is that the road is a dirt road with all the bumps and such that come with a dirt road. Not a problem though if you have some ground clearance (I have a Crosstrek and had no issue).

Beautiful site! The host was very welcoming and communicative. We tented and appreciated that there were designated raked sandy areas to place a tent so you don’t have roots and rocks under your tent. Felt very private and secluded but still very close to stores/cafes/etc. Hands down the cleanest bathroom set up I have seen in a place that doesn’t have electricity/running water.

We had such a lovely time in camping within Lakeisha’s blueberry fields— brought back memories from when I was a little girl picking blueberries intended to make jam and most certainly gobbling most of them all up :) When we arrived there were two fold out chairs and dry bags for us to use during our stay which was very thoughtful. Our site was peaceful and accompanied by a wise old tree and some flowers in the picnic table, making us feel at home from the jump. The nostalgia mixed with these details really made our stay at Lakeisha’s blueberry fields very special.

We enjoyed the close proximity to Kennebunkport. The camp had a nice fenced off-leash area for our dogs to run in. We also enjoyed the ability to walk on the quiet drive and the host’s gardens. The property is kept us well and is very comfortable.

We loved our two-night stay at Sunrise Cabin! The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, and private, and sleeping out on the sunroom was incredible!! We were visited by the sheep herd one morning and got to see them right outside the cabin. We stayed with our two cats who made themselves right at home. Sandi let us come down and meet the horses, chickens, and of course the sheep, which was definitely a highlight of the trip. There was tons of birdwatching (LOTS of hummingbirds), including owls at night. A wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back!! Thanks again for a great time, Sandi and Brandon!!

There are places you stay, and then there are places that somehow feel like they were exactly what your soul needed at exactly the right time. Jamberry Farm was the latter for me. From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of peace, comfort, and solitude. The property is absolutely beautiful, and there is something so special about being surrounded by nature, quiet, and the simple beauty of the farm. It was the kind of place where I could finally exhale, slow down, and just be. I was especially grateful for how comfortable and safe I felt here. It never felt like I was simply another guest passing through. There was a warmth and thoughtfulness to the experience that made the stay feel personal and genuinely welcoming. Jamberry Farm gave me something I desperately needed: a little solitude, a little beauty, and a chance to reset. I left with so much gratitude for this place and the people who have created such a beautiful little retreat. I would absolutely stay here again and hope I get the opportunity to return someday, and hopefully for a longer visit next time. ❤️ Thank you for creating such a peaceful and special place. It was exactly the reset I needed.

Gorgeous site and amazing island! It’ll be a long time until I’m in a place this wholesome again. We were pleasantly surprised during our short stay by an island music festival called Dockstock. Extremely friendly and welcoming islanders, beautiful event, and a peaceful campsite to go back to at night. We expected to stay on the island at night and spend most of our time on the mainland in Bar Harbor and Acadia, but it was so lovely we stayed on the island the whole trip. Incredible property, we were very moved and impressed by Mike’s personal story of the land’s transformation. Each campsite placement was so well thought out, and we especially appreciated the access to boats, water, and veggies. Even the outhouse was beautiful haha. If you get the opportunity, definitely camp on Bobcat Island. You park and it’s a super simple and quick walk over a short bridge, and the island itself feels very cozy and peaceful. Would love to come back!

Our stay at Mike and Cheryl’s Hipcamp was truly exceptional. We stayed at Goose Paradise, and the site was wonderful, offering a peaceful retreat in nature right on the edge of the pond. We camped with our two children (11 and 15) and our Golden Retriever, and it was the perfect setting for all of us. The campsites were spacious, well-spaced, and offered plenty of privacy. In my opinion, Goose Paradise is the pick of the sites. It's right on the water's edge and next to the Activity Hut, while still being conveniently close to the restroom and spring Our kids loved taking out the rowboat to fish and explore the pond, which added so much to the experience. You can tell that this campground is a true passion project for the hosts and not just a business. What really made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality of Mike and Cheryl. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it almost felt like staying with family rather than at a campground. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Adrienne’s land offered us a very unique place to stay. It was essentially a tiny house on wheels, very comfortable. We went to the homestead to watch the meter showers and it did not disappoint. There were no mosquitoes! Not one bite laying out in there field. Not sure if that’s a good thing, but it does make the stay comfortable.

Mike and Cheryl were excellent hosts, and maintain a beautiful property at True Serendipity homestead. We stayed on Bobcat Island for 4 days, using it as our base of operations for Acadia- about a 35-45 minute drive, well worth it to have a peaceful private stay in comparison to the very busy camper grounds on Mt. Desert Isle. The site was perfect- a good distance away from the other sites for comfort/privacy. The site is a small walk in but you can still park your car quite close, loading in with our dolly was no problem at all on the clean, clear trail. Restroom facilities were clean, the water from the spring fed well was cool and clear. Many thanks to Mike and Cheryl for their hospitality, we will certainly be back!!
