For the safety of all the dogs, your pets must be contained/on a leash at least until all of the dogs can get to know each other.

Our cabins have AC/Heat. A dry sink are in each cabin are provided. Roast hotdogs over your private fire pit as
a fire pit is just outside the cabin along with private picnic table. We have a shower bathroom house. You provide your own towel, and soap products.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Privy's are found just outside the cabin.
We have miles of hiking trails and several spring fed creeks so take your hiking boots off and wade in the clean cool water.
Stars are in abundance at Guthrie Meadows so star gazing is a must!

This is also a cat sanctuary with disabled cats mostly wobbly, you probably won't see any of them as they are afraid of strangers.
Please understand, you will be in the woods. We have coyotes,bobcat,mountain lion,fox,deer,skunk racoons, opossums etc... Keep food contained and be aware of surroundings!
We now have kune kune pigs. And recently added 2 mini cows, 1 is an 11 year old rescue and 1 is a heifer calf as well as a standard heifer calf.

The camping site near the river was such a site! Area was clean and homey, host was very friendly and a good guide! Everything was close by. Do bring water shoes or sandals since it's mainly rocks near the riverside. Bring your hammock too there are some good trees! Will definitely be back in the future❤️

I absolutely loved tent camping here! The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. The view of the river was beautiful, and the night sky was full of stars. It was an amazing experience. The campsite had a clean porta potty with a sink and soap, which was very convenient. They also provided a fire pit and firewood for guests to use. We ran into two problems and Kenny was so quick and helpful each time. First, we couldn't get our fire going due to all of the rain and damp. Kenny showed up so quickly with a blowtorch to get it going! The next morning our car battery was dead and Kenny again appeared instantly with a battery. When his battery didn't work, he brought his van to charge our battery. Overall, I will recommend this place to everyone!!!

Blue Horse is a hidden gem! Quiet, relaxing, and unfussy while still having everything you need for a wonderful camping experience! Firepit, grill, outhouse, tent platform, covered cooking area, and there’s even kayaks and a canoe, with paddles and life-jackets provided. The stretch of the Little Blue River that the camp is on is calm and easy and a small dock allows for boat put-in. Lots of hiking and outdoor options abound nearby. Perfect choice in the i64 corridor/Hoosier National Forest area. Angie and Paige are fantastic hosts, you can’t go wrong!

Weekend Trip to Camp Escape
Staying at this site was truly one of the most if not THE most relaxing bnb experiences I’ve had. I thought it would be a bit further back on the property but it is still just perfect. Everything was so cozy, the temperature control inside is perfect and that porch is to die for!! The couch and bed inside too is so comfy. You can tell the work this couple put into the renovations and upkeep here to keep it gorgeous and serene. The price nightly couldn’t be better either so this will definitely be my go to stay when I come out to Louisville! It’s about 30 minutes from most things so it was just the perfect “outside the city” stay❤️

We loved this site! My husband, who can be picky about campsites, gave it a 10 out of 10. We had the whole campground to ourselves. The surrounding community members would walk by, and they were all very friendly. It had rained a lot the week before, so the river was quite high, and the neighbors said that normally you can walk out on a kind of beach. We didn't see that, but it was so beautiful with it so high and close to the site (not too close that we were worried about flooding). It had plenty of shade and trees and also a big grassy area to throw football, frisbee, soccer, etc. There are lights available if needed as well.
The kids could play in the creek, where they found a baby snapping turtle, tons of toads, lots of really cool fossils, and other wildlife. If you are a birder, this place is perfect for it. We saw bald eagles, orioles, flycatchers, and sooo many more.
Scott and Kathy were very friendly and great hosts. The firewood was great too, which in a lot of campsites it can be wet or newly cut, but this was great. They have thought of every kind of amenity you would need for a campsite.
We would highly recommend this site!

Weekend Trip to Happy Hollow Homestead
This was a great place for a last second weekend getaway! The whole property is nice and private. We stayed in the camping cabin, which was ideal for a rainy couple of days. There’s plenty of hiking close by and a few caves to tour also. We’ll definitely be back when the weather is better to tent camp!

My husband, father in law and I enjoyed a weekend stay at Ann’s place. It was so peaceful. While the ground was soaked from the heavy rains, the gravel spot was dry and perfect for parking our camper. So grateful for this!
Ann was a great host and checked in to see if we needed anything.
Would definitely recommend staying here to get away from large crowds on busy weekends, but still be near Brown County/Nashville.
