WINTER 2023-24: We will be closed from November 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024 for the winter season. However, we are taking reservations for the 2024 Total Eclipse, and you may reach out to us by phone or email for availability beginning on December 1, 2023. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nestled deep in Hoosier National Forest and just a short drive from Paoli and French Lick, Indiana, Nighthawk Forest offers a secluded and pristine outdoor experience for all camping enthusiasts! Situated on 65 hilly and wooded acres, Nighthawk Forest features well-groomed tent pads, water and electric hookups for RVs and even vintage campers. Enjoy breathtaking walks in the woods, go fishing or take a dip in our pond, and set up your camp chairs under the incredible night sky and marvel under the majesty of the Milky Way! Take a hike or a mountain bike ride on the Springs Valley Trail down to Tucker Lake. We look forward to sharing our beautiful campground with you and look forward to hosting you soon!Well-groomed and level tent pad nestled into the tall trees of Nighthawk Forest. This site does not currently have water or electric. Fire pits and picnic tables available.

Great trip

The tent camping was wonderful! The site had all the amenities you could need! The trails were gorgeous and right inside the campgrounds! Would recommend and would come again

65 acres of beautiful hiking!

We loved tent camping at this brand new campground! We stayed on site 3 and had plenty of space and privacy. The tent pad was a great bonus for us. The showers were very nice and roomy as well. The camp hosts were beyond helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I can not say enough good things about this place! It's a must stay if you are in the area visiting the Hoosier National Forest or French Lick. We hiked on the 65 acre property and it was amazing. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our Labor Day weekend peaceful and relaxing.
