Hill Springs Campground is nestled on our 120-acre family farm, and we’re proud to be the third generation to care for this little piece of paradise. Tucked away in the heart of 'God’s country,' our campground offers peace and quiet, miles from the nearest town. The rolling hills provide hay for our cows and wood for the stove, and we take great pride in sharing this beautiful spot with you. Each site offers the chance to unwind by the pond, pick wild blackberries, or hike through our woods. Fire pits are available at all sites. Our sites are simple—no water, electricity, or internet—but generators are welcome, and we provide a toilet on-site. Please remember to pack out all your trash, including cigarette butts. We’re also close to plenty of activities: Patoka Lake is just 3 miles away, with 8,800 acres of water, 26,000 sq. feet of land, and a variety of outdoor fun—boating, fishing, hiking, and even a winery. Historic French Lick and West Baden are 16 miles away, offering everything from casinos to a scenic railway, golf courses, a spa, a wildlife park, and the stunning West Baden Springs Hotel, known as the 'Eighth Wonder of the World.' The city of Jasper is 14 miles away, with a charming riverwalk, museums, parks, and food trucks to explore. The small town of Dubois is just 4.5 miles away, with local taverns, a gas station, and a True Value store. At Hill Springs, you can be as close or as far away from the action as you want to be. Woods Site: TENT CAMPING ONLY: This site sits on a hill surrounded by trees. Great views and shade! TOTAL PRIVACY... except for some nosey cows. To get to this location, you will need to drive up and down a few hills. (If the ground isn't wet, I can do it in my minivan. So if it is wet, we will need to talk before your arrival.) All sites can enjoy the serenity of the pond (short walk), pick wild blackberries, or hike in our woods. We provide a fire pit. Our site has no water, electricity, or internet, but generators are welcome. We ask that you please take all your trash with you when you leave, including cigarette butts. The property is near many activities: • Patoka Lake is only 3 miles away, with 8,800 acres of water and 26,000 sq. feet of land. Pond Site: This popular tent/RV site sits by our peaceful ½ acre pond. We’ve just added a 20' x 20' shelter house, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. There’s also a great dock where you can jump in and cool off on warm days. We do allow fishing but please be respectful as to how many you catch. To reach our pond site, you will drive up a hill through our hay field. (See photos below) If the ground isn’t too wet, I can get my minivan up there, but if conditions are muddy, we’ll need to chat before your arrival. We provide a fire pit. Our site has no water, electricity, or internet, but generators are welcome. An outhouse is provided. We ask that you please take all your trash with you when you leave, including cigarette butts. Thie site was very cute and had a lot of nice amenities like a picnic table, shelter, fire ring, and an outhouse. The host was very nice. We had a great time.

This is our second time staying at their pond spot. We had a wonderful time again and want to make it an annual tradition! This spot is private but also has modern amenities like the outhouse and coverage for rain.

This was a lovely camping spot! The views are gorgeous. The signage and directions to the site are easy to follow. Hosts were communicative and friendly. We love a secluded campsite and this felt like we were surrounded by nothing but trees and rolling farmland. The site was large with plenty of room for our tent and vehicles. We loved watching the sunset here! 10/10 recommend and would love to visit again!

Even though my trip didnt go as planned, as always Bryan and Nicole were awesome and the property is beautiful. Once I get the camper fixed ill definitely be back. This is by far my number one place to camp.

I hesitate to give a great review only because I want to gatekeep this spot so it’s always available when we want it! If gorgeous sky and landscape views, privacy, and a cool dip in the pond is what you’re after, you cannot go wrong with this Hipcamp. We enjoyed going into Huntingburg and Jasper for the day, and then the next day, we enjoyed never leaving. We’d live here if we could. Already planning our next weekend getaway.

This was our second trip to Hill Spring Campground, and once again, the pond site was absolutely perfect. The views are breathtaking, and the pond is such a peaceful spot to relax and fish. We even had the treat of watching a rainstorm roll through, followed by a stunning double rainbow—it was pure magic. This truly is one of our favorite places to camp, and we can’t wait to return again!

The site was beautiful. Every direction was picturesque. We just so happened to go camping here on a weekend with a heat advisory and the pavilion was a nice source of shade. There were a lot more houseflies than I thought there would be; especially around the pavilion, but the site is in the middle of a farm so it’s not entirely unexpected. I’d definitely come back to camp here in the fall/winter.

Bryan and Nicole were the ABSOLUTE BEST HOST EVER!! Great communication, hospitality and was generous enough to lend me a couple staple items, we forgot to bring. Beautiful view, scenery, very peaceful and such a joy to enjoy the site by ourselves. 10 out of 10 and will definitely return back. Thanks again Bryan and Nicole! Truly appreciate the five star stay. Perfect Secluded Pond Oasis!!

This place is truly an oasis!!!! It felt so beautiful and secluded, like a peaceful escape from everything. The pond is stunning, and the surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking. We only stayed one night, which wasn’t nearly enough—but we’ll definitely be coming back!! Bryan and Nicole are so kind to share this special place with others. They were incredibly helpful and informative in their communication leading up to our stay. Once we arrived, they gave us our space, but were always kind and responsive whenever we needed anything.

Bryan and Nicoles property is always beautiful. I've camped there twice now. Each time they have always checked to see if I needed anything. The area is always clean and private. I will definitely be back.

Hill springs pond site was exactly what I needed. It was beautiful, quite and peaceful. Bryan and Nicole made sure everything was ready for when I got there. The outhouse is very clean. The sun sets and sun rises were beautiful along with the wild life. I will definitely be coming back.

Idyllic & peaceful! No human sounds at all as we slept. very well laid out with picnic table, bench swing and very clean outhouse! I will definitely camp here again!

I stayed at the pond site. Awesome. Expansive views, but no people in sight - just deer and turkeys. 5G cell coverage (Spectrum). Outhouse is incredibly clean. What a great place Bryan and Nicole have here, I will be back.

We had a great stay on Bryan & Nicole’s land! It was very private, the pond was lovely, and the sky was big for star-gazing. We’ll be back, for sure!

We loved the property. It was convenient to so much, but far enough away to feel completely disconnected. The wooded lot didn't have a level surface for our tent and the bugs were pretty intense. Overall though we would definitely come back!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Beautiful property. Very nice, accommodating family. We enjoyed staring out at the green pastures and rolling hills both before and after the 2024 eclipse. This was our first trip to Indiana and it was a trip we will never forget. If we come back this way we will definitely visit Bryan and Nicole's place again. My only regret was that we had clouds the night before and I couldn't share my telescope!

This was the perfect spot to watch the eclipse! We had plenty of room and the view from the land is great! We were close enough to French Lick and Jasper that we could enjoy some local attractions and coming back to our cozy quiet camp spot at the end of the night was lovely. The hosts were great, communicative and attentive!
