**25 Minutes north of Louisville, KY** Due to local demand, the dates of April 20-25 (Thunder over Louisville, KY Derby events) that are not currently booked are slightly higher in price, with a 2-night minimum. __________________________________________ RV Site(S) on our family land. 30amp electric, water, sewer. Fire-pit with seating, free firewood provided. Trash can provided. Next-door to Yankeetown Area/indoor roping arena. If you participate in the rodeo at Yankeetown, utilize our site with hookups for your horse trailer! Nearby access to the Knobstone trail access point. Just a few miles away from LM Sugarbush; Indiana's largest annual Maple Syrup Festival. Long gravel driveway; 1/4 mile or more off of State Rd 160. We border the Clark-State Forestry. We have a small farm pond that's full of fish; no license required. Bring your fishing pole and have fun! Expect to hear chickens, guineas, pigs, dogs barking, kids playing. You may hear a tractor, lawn mower, or gator ATV go by as we are always busy doing something. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind that this property is patrolled by two large Great Pyrenees dogs, and while they are friendly to people, they are territorial and have been aggressive towards other dogs until they become friends. For the safety of all the dogs, your pets must be contained/on a leash at least until all of the dogs can get to know each other. We are 5 miles from I-65, and 19 miles north of Louisville, KY. Verizon phone/data service is good; can't confirm others.Park your RV/Camper near the pond for easy access to fishing. Firewood provided, fire ring provided. Fires allowed only when weather is appropriate. Host will determine based on dry conditions. Expect the sounds of a small family farm. You'll hear dogs, chickens, kids playing. You may hear a tractor running, lawn mowers, or a gator ATV going by as we are always busy doing something. Campsite is about 1/2 mile away from the roadway, so there is no traffic or highway noise. Expect to hear frogs and crickets at night, in addition to the animals on the property. The host has tested the site with his own 37' travel trailer. The driveway is tight; and the access to the site is somewhat complicated. If you are new to RVing or not accustomed to maneuvering a trailer/rig, please keep that in mind. The host is happy to assist you with backing-in your rig, and he will show you the best route of travel in and out of the site. Be mindful of the trees and branches when coming down the main driveway. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind that the dogs that live on the property have territory rights. We have two large Great Pyrenees who patrol the whole area and protect the chickens and pigs and family that live here. They take their role seriously when it comes to other animals. While our dogs are very friendly to people, and they will be happy to visit you for pets and attention, (if you pet one, you'll have a friend for life) no guarantee can given for the safety of your own pets/dogs. Animals are unpredictable, especially territorial dogs when it comes to welcoming new dogs to their turf. Guests assume all responsibility for the safety and well-being of their own pets.

Beautiful setting: very private yet wide open. Friendly, helpful hosts with great hospitality. Swings were a fun bonus for kids! Would definitely stay again.

Our short overnight stop in Indiana at Jared’s campsite was perfect for the last leg of our van trip. The attention given to clear directions and communication was kind, clear, supportive and fast. We loved being greeted by two sweet dogs! Jared’s land and surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing your property with us, Jared!

Great setup close to main highway!!
Jared did a great job sending instructions for the site to ensure we wouldn’t have any questions since he was not available to be there when we arrived. Great setup with full hookup, picnic table and big fire pit and firewood. Both sites slightly off level by about 3-4 inches left to right but the whole property is on an hill so all things considered he did a great job with the site setups, just make sure you’ve got enough levelers. Awesome property with some animals, a pond, and rope swings for the kids. Only about 10 minutes off the highway. If we find ourselves passing through this area again we will definitely be back!

Great Place for the Price
Jared’s campsite was everything we needed. Love the fact that it was full hookup, and we were even given some farm fresh eggs from there chickens.

Jared is incredibly accommodating. He assisted with getting the camper in and the space is great. Plenty of space for our 4yo to run around and very quiet!

Great stay😊
Jared had his father meet me to check me in, which was wonderful. I loved the chickens and roosters on the property.. The fall colors were so beautiful, I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of everything. Great communication and very prompt. Everything was great during my stay😁
