**25 Minutes north of Louisville, KY** ________________________________________ RV Site on our family land. 30 AND 50 amp electric, water, sewer. Fire-pit with seating, free firewood provided. Trash can provided. Next-door to Yankeetown Area/indoor roping arena. If you participate in the rodeo at Yankeetown, utilize our site with hookups for your horse trailer! Nearby access to the Knobstone trail access point. Just a few miles away from LM Sugarbush; Indiana's largest annual Maple Syrup Festival. Long gravel driveway; 1/4 mile or more off of State Rd 160. We border the Clark-State Forestry. We have a small farm pond that's full of fish; no license required. Bring your fishing pole and have fun! Expect to hear chickens, guineas, pigs, dogs barking, kids playing. You may hear a tractor, lawn mower, or gator ATV go by as we are always busy doing something. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind that this property is patrolled by two large Great Pyrenees dogs, and while they are friendly to people, they are territorial and have been aggressive towards other dogs until they become friends. For the safety of all the dogs, your pets must be contained/on a leash at least until all of the dogs can get to know each other. We are 5 miles from I-65, and 19 miles north of Louisville, KY. Verizon phone/data service is good; can't confirm others.Park your RV/Camper near the pond for easy access to fishing. Firewood provided, fire ring provided. Fires allowed only when weather is appropriate. Host will determine based on dry conditions. Expect the sounds of a small family farm. You'll hear dogs, chickens, kids playing. You may hear a tractor running, lawn mowers, or a gator ATV going by as we are always busy doing something. Campsite is about 1/2 mile away from the roadway, so there is no traffic or highway noise. Expect to hear frogs and crickets at night, in addition to the animals on the property. The host has tested the site with his own 37' travel trailer. The driveway is tight; and the access to the site is somewhat complicated. If you are new to RVing or not accustomed to maneuvering a trailer/rig, please keep that in mind. The host is happy to assist you with backing-in your rig, and he will show you the best route of travel in and out of the site. Be mindful of the trees and branches when coming down the main driveway. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind that the dogs that live on the property have territory rights. We have two large Great Pyrenees who patrol the whole area and protect the chickens and pigs and family that live here. They take their role seriously when it comes to other animals. While our dogs are very friendly to people, and they will be happy to visit you for pets and attention, (if you pet one, you'll have a friend for life) no guarantee can given for the safety of your own pets/dogs. Animals are unpredictable, especially territorial dogs when it comes to welcoming new dogs to their turf. Guests assume all responsibility for the safety and well-being of their own pets.

Great spot with views and animals
We had a great time camping here. We stayed for Louder Than Life music festival and its just a short drive away. It rained most of the time and we had some gusty winds but the landscape helped and it was a beautiful spot. Parking spot for camper is level but the grassy part is slanted. We were still able to put a couple tents on it, just had to level our cooking surface. The dogs were really friendly and would pop up randomly for pets and snacks (watch your bacon😂). If you don’t like farm animals this isnt the spot for you, you are right next to the chickens and pigs (Bonnie and Clyde) so you hear them occasionally.

I'd probably rate the site a little differently for an RV/camper versus a tent. I imagine an RV/camper would be much more sound proof than a tent. It's a nice property, with a pond I was able to pretty easily catch a fish out of, and more importantly, the host was a super nice day who came out to great us when we started setting up our tent. The only downside to the stay was the barking dogs. A couple big dogs roam the property to keep the wildlife at bay, and it makes sense that they're out there to help protect the property owner's livestock, but unfortunately the constant barking made sleeping difficult.

If your looking to get away this is a great place to do just that. The lot is in a good location for views. Listen to the owners directions for entering and leaving the property, it is tricky with large rv's but it can be done. The site is only about 30 minutes from Louisville and New Albany. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The instructions were excellent. The site was very nice and convenient. Not too far off the interstate, easily accessible. Great value for a full-hookup!

Great spot, friendly owners and ani
Camping here was the perfect spot for us. Not only is the property beautiful and the animals friendly, but Jared's communication and helpful videos on entering the property and setting up were much appreciated. We would definitely come here again if the opportunity arose. Oh and bonus...fresh eggs were given to us on arrival. Thank you so much!!!
