Despite booking this trip months in advance, I was never told this "private" site is actually a cramped shared site with 2 RV's next to one another, in one spot. Nothing is "private" about this site! Had I been made aware of this, I would have gladly purchased both sites for more breathing room, given the reasonable price.
Our fifth wheel was up against her fenceline across from her front door. If you turn the other way, your door to door with the other RV. Her Hipcamp info makes it appear as if they're 2 separate sites not in the same space.
The owner has several large dogs that barked incessantly all night, and morning. I stay on nothing but farms, so I am quite used to "animal sounds" including those on massive, fully operational farms. This was several dogs left out all night long. It was so bad, I captured audio recordings at various times from 7pm-6am of the NEVERENDING dogs barking. If you have dogs protecting other animals, and kept outside all night/morning long, then state it!!! Do not hide under the umbrella of typical "animal noise" on a farm. This makes it appear as "traditional farm" animal noise, and it's not!
I stay at NOTHING but farms across ENTIRE Continental U.S. To NOT disclose any of this is intentionally deceptive!
We left at first light, and found an amazing farm with gorgeous views. They had several dogs, and farm animals. Their dogs didn't bark all night, and morning.
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR "PRIVATE", AND TO SLEEP AT NIGHT....AVOID

We had such a wonderful stay at this farm! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The full hookups made our RV setup incredibly easy and comfortable, which we really appreciated.
The property is peaceful and beautiful, and it gave us the perfect place to slow down. Our kids absolutely loved being able to see the animals every day, it truly made the experience extra special for our family.
Amber is really kind, welcoming, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great stay.
If you’re looking for a place to unplug, breathe, and enjoy a simple, beautiful farm setting, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We were very happy with our stay at Ambers Acres! The hostess was very responsive and helpful. We only got to spend 1 night but the spot was spacious and level and had full hookups which was so nice! We wish we could have met all the animals but we had a long drive ahead!

The property is absolutely beautiful, even though it's right off main road you may hear vehicles passing by occasionally, but it doesn't take from the tranquility. Never had any issues with communicating, Amber always responded quickly, respectful, kind, answered any an all questions and when I wasn't getting any power to my camper she promptly checked everything within her means, before contacting the power company, them promptly arriving (earlier than the quoted time an quicker I had expected.) She was very understanding when it turned out to be the adapter I had purchased and even allowed for her own adapter to be used during the stay. An the goats were adorable and vocal in a good way.

Loved our weekend at Amber's. We found it pretty easy and she had everything we needed. Close to some fun things to do within 30 mins. A canoe place right down the road, marked that for next time. Quiet and pretty. My husband enjoyed the goats :)

Very well kept property and the baby goats were adorable. Enjoyed having fresh eggs available and full hook up was great. We spent one day at the O’Bannon Woods State Park - https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/parks-lakes/obannon-woods-state-park/ - which was about an hour from the site.

We love Amber and her Farm!! A peaceful and relaxing place just outside of all there is to do in Louisville. Amber was accommodating, and when our truck was acting up, she was reassuring, even though she was booked for the weekend. 5 stars is not enough.

Easy spot to back into, even for beginners.
Beautiful little spot in the country. It was fun to visit the General Store down the road and see the pumpkin fields.
The goats are precious and it was fun watching them be herded around by the doggies. Very clean, firewood is available but we used our own as we have had plenty from recent storms.

We had so much with our little family at Amber's place! My girls loved all the goats and wanted to be around them every time they were out grazing. This site has full hookups, tons of shade, and super flat (fastest trip ever to set up). Amber was extremely kind and friendly. Not too far from French Lick and Paoli so tons of things to do with the kids during the day. Every though this location is right next to Highway 150, it was really quiet and peaceful. Even the talkative goose kept it a minimum! There is a Dollar General and a really nice Ace Hardware right down the street if you forget anything. Definitely recommend Amber's place to anyone!

We had a great stay at Amber's Acres. The full hookup was much appreciated, and the spot was level and nicely kept. We enjoyed our morning coffee while the goats munched their way through the undergrowth of the woods just a few feet away. We'll probably visit again. It's less than an hour's drive to French Lick and Louisville.

Amber's place was just what we needed for a last minute reservation. On the day that we left for a multi-day trip we were delayed by several different factors, including traffic and construction, which put us hours behind on our journey. We'd reserved another Hipcamp site further away and realized that we wouldn't be able to get to that site unless we drove for hours in the dark, which we didn't feel comfortable doing. We found Amber's site, which was about 30 minutes from where we were and noticed that we could instantly book it. But I was worried about doing that because it was already after dark. I messaged Amber and she responded right away that we could stay the night! What a relief! She communicated regularly with us until we arrived. We left early the next morning so didn't get time to see many of the animals on her farm, but we'd return if we were in the area again. Thanks so much, Amber--you provided us with a safe and welcoming place to spend the night. We are forever grateful!

We loved our stay! The goats were a hoot. My daughter loved them and would stand at the fence for ages calling to them. 😊 Easy access to the site. Close to an ACE Hardware and Dollar General if you forget anything. Would definitely recommend Amber’s place!!
