The site was very scenic and serene and we enjoyed the quiet very much. The cabin had a lot of charming qualities to it.

My stay was nice and enjoyed seeing the horses. Easy in and easy out. Manasota Beach was not a far drive and we found sharks teeth on both visits. Nice to place to stay and relax.

It’s perfect campsite for families with kids. You have a lot of space. Everything is going easy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The campground is situated perfect for trips to the keys and to the Everglades. Hagen, thank you very much for everything!

Weekend Trip to Redlands Palmgrove

We stopped here for a night on the way to Key West. Easy to get to .. very close to Highway, plenty of shopping and food options nearby as well as fuel. Clean site, beautiful surroundings, easy to walk our dog, had everything we needed for a night . Gated- which was a plus . Hagen was welcoming and very easy to arrange arrival with.

I really enjoyed my short stay Meadow Ranch. Jeff was a great host. He has a beautiful well maintained property. It was a great way to experience camping in the Everglades in a safe environment. I would stay there again.

4 nights at Bayside beach, fishing and camping

Jack’s place is beautiful! My family planned on spending 4 nights there that turned into 6 nights after having truck problems and not being able to leave. Jack was very accommodating and there’s no better place to get stuck. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock, snorkeling and seeing all kinds of wildlife. Very quiet area and having full hook ups was a huge plus. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Key Largo!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hagen’s place. We normally stick to state and federally operated parks, and this was our first Hipcamp experience. I won’t be our last! Hagen is a nice, gracious, and accommodating host. The beautiful site is in an agricultural area just far enough away from the chaos of the Homestead/Miami metro areas to be quiet and serene, yet close enough to be able to access everything the area has to offer easily. Do you like lush green landscaping and palm trees? (Lots of royal and coconut palms!) Do you like quiet and peaceful? Throw in a host who is not obtrusive but as available as you need him to be, and this is your place. The pad is gravel, level and was easily accessible for our 30’ Class A and Tow. We will absolutely stay there again when back in the area.

Me and my husband stayed at Creekside A! It was beautiful! Large area on the creek with lots of tables and chairs and an awesome firepit. John’s place is a must see! He has a beautiful area to unwind in the shade at all the sites. The “common” area is so cool. The shower and bathroom area is the perfect set up. You will not be disappointed. Close enough to everything you want to do in the area. Or just sit back and enjoy the camp. I would highly recommend hipcamper’s to check it out 👍🏼👍🏼

Situated at the Southern end of the beautiful rolling hills of the Lake Wales Ridge we're very centrally located to many of Florida's attractions. Frostproof, Lake Clinch. and Lake Reedy are just 10 mins away. Lake Clinch is a beautifully clear 1200 acre lake with a sandy beaches, pavilions, and a boat ramp, and Lake Reedy is a 3500 acre lake, both with consistent largemouth bass fishing, with anglers also catching warmouth, bluegill, and other species. Neither of the lakes are EVER that crowded even in the height of Snow Bird season! Other closeby attractions include: 15 miles to Sebring Raceway or Bok Tower Gardens 20 miles to Legoland, Walk-in-the-Water Preserve, or the River Ranches 25 miles to the Chain-of-lakes in Winter Haven 45 miles from Disney 60 miles from Tampa 80 miles from the Space Coast There are walking or biking trails that weave through and all around our pine forested acreage where all types of Florida wildlife; grey heron, sandhill crane, wild turkeys, armadillos, racoon, even have some otter have been spotted... even Florida's endangered Panther has been spotted recently just a few of miles away at the Kissimmee Preserve... but no, we've never seen an alligator on the property or in the pond. Several tent sites and two Rv sites available.

Our favorite things about this property are the amazing skies both at dawn and dusk, as well as night stargazing. We have great birdwatching as well. During certain times of the year and certain times of the day, there are a million bugs! We stay inside during these times. We are 25 minutes from Okeechobee City, the bass fishing capital of the world, 45 minutes to Fort Pierce, & 35 miles from Sebring International Raceway. The Kissimmee Prairie State Park is very close by. The prairie is the darkest part of Florida. Astronomers, bring your telescopes and cameras to capture the night. You will possibly see cows, bobcats, wild turkeys, wild pigs, armadillos, birds, or the neighbors dogs might show up. Don’t worry, they are quite friendly. We have a 50 amp RV Hookup with NO septic and plenty of space for primitive camping. Bring your horse, but there is no paddock or barn. The storage building on the premises is not part of the rental, please leave it alone. There is electricity and non-potable water. The water is safe for teeth brushing, washing dishes, and showering, but it does have a very strong smell of sulfur. There is an outhouse. Please use it sparingly & only flush toilet paper provided. There is an outside sink, an outside shower with no privacy, a picnic table and a fire pit. If you come with your RV, please use your RV toilet. There will be a major fine for any septic dumping. 1/3 of the land is cleared and 2/3 is full of mature oak trees and trails. It is fenced with barbed wire fencing. Please keep your food trash in your cars & take it with you. You do not want to attract predators. You can recycle, or throw away any trash that is not related to food in the garbage can. Keep an eye on your small dogs. There are also snakes and predatory birds. It is hard with words to describe the beauty of this property, so please check out the pictures. Happy Camping!
