the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.
also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

After the 4 mile trip through The Lake George State Forest, you will pass two small RV campgrounds of Pine Island.
Runaway Bay Lodge is the first private property past The Pine Island RV Campground, on the right side of the street.
OUR PROPERTY IS NOT LOCATED IN THE CAMPGROUND.
We have 4 separate units on our property, including 2 cabins and 4 yurts, Each cabin and yurt is set up with only one bed, in each. We are a perfect spot for solo journeyers and couples. Larger groups can rent multiple units. We also host 3rd party retreats for up to 18 total guests.
Not all campsites have water views, from the units, but none are more than 30 feet to the water…
We do allow cannabis smoking on our property, in the common areas outside of the tents and cabins.
We offer our exclusive holistic services and Yoga, Plant Based Vegan, Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Meal Options, Energy work and other holistic well-being services, Small Group Retreats, Boat Tours and Boat Rentals.
Use of a private vehicle is required.
The property is on a natural 46000 acre lake that is connected to The Atlantic Ocean by The St Johns River.
This location offers abundant wildlife refuge.
This can be exciting, but dangerous.
Please do not feed or approach the wildlife.
You may see alligators, snakes, otters, manatees, as well as several species of fish and birds, including, but not limited to, american bald eagles, egret, heron, seagulls, bass, mullet, crappie, bluegill and more.
Please simply use caution and do not attempt to disturb the animals or their environment.

Fish off the deck or from the yard, zip over to the springs in 10 minutes or head over to the St Johns river for a meal. The tiny house has a vegetable garden you are free to do with as you please as well as cornhole and games for your use under the 5th wheel. There is a camp store on site for snacks, bait, drinks, ice, fire wood etc. We are surrounded by conservation land and we have one of the highest populations of bald eagles. Kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat and canoe available for use at anytime. There is a boat ramp on property is you bring your own small boat or jetski. Fire pit with seating by the lake. This is a farm, expect there to be animals to include livestock, pets, and wild animals. If you are not comfortable with being around animals, including dogs, then this is not the property to book.

This is a fantastic site. It’s also worth going out of your way for. The campsite is new, clean and private. There was an abundance of shade and a great breeze off the water. Hiking, boating and a park are all near by. I will be staying here again. The owners were also vey kind and responsive.

What a picturesque lakeside setting. This charming little farm is peaceful, fun, and the perfect weekend escape. Comfortable, well appointed, and the grounds are simply beautiful. Even better, Stacy and her Husband were exceptionally welcoming. My wife took a sisters-and-mom weekend away; they loved the place so much they stayed the entire time and never made it into Eustis as originally planned.

Camp Mack is a beautiful Old Florida fish camp! Our site was amongst the live oaks, quiet an peaceful. Staff and facilities were wonderful. It was relaxing to site along the water and watch fishermen and airboats coming and going. The camp store has everything you need, restrooms and showers are well maintained, and everyone is friendly! We did not use the pool, but it was very nice with a clubhouse and restrooms and showers. The Freshwater Tavern is within walking distance with food and beverages, was nice, and there is a food truck on the premises. We would definitely stay again!

I liked the convience of 15 min from mt. Dora dead end road not a lot of trafic also good to ride my bike to end of road which connects to road like trail back near lake apopka also 5 large alligators ran away when i got close had a look out tower and many birds

This was one of the best experiences we ever had camping here . Big thanks to James who met up with us upon arrival and was very informative and polite . The atmosphere was wonderful where we felt safe and had amazing additional options as add ons in case we missed anything else . We will definitely be coming here again . I will definitely recommend this place to anyone . Loved the fact we had a fire pit next to where we put up our tent and James brought us the firewood we requested as an add on . It was definitely a peaceful night . Thanks again James and your team for having us !

Had an amazing stay with my husband and 2 girls. Perfect ending to my daughter’s spring break. Also loved exploring the city of Clermont. Such a cute downtown area, and farmers market on Sunday.
Definitely would recommend this experience to anyone interested in a peaceful and fun little getaway. Hosts were very accommodating and even had a stand near the entrance where you can buy some treats or products.
Cannot wait to come back hopefully this is me and my family’s new spring time tradition.

Relic Ranch is like nothing else- the campground area is pristine with old growth trees and beautiful walking trails (I booked a random weekday and was solo out there which was a fun added bonus although you can't see from site to site so would not have otherwise known).
The Relic portion is an ever changing museum of some of the coolest planes, trains and automobiles along with a few people who seemed to be camping there longer term. I got to pet some goats, I got to see some chickens and they had some great wood for sale on site. I'd give this stay a 10/10 and I was sad to leave / wish I could have stayed longer.

Camp Mack was great. We did the Alligator tour right from the park and seen lots of big and little gators. Well worth $50 per person. They also have a food truck that has excellent food, a small grocery store, golf cart and boat rentals. You won’t get bored. If you have bikes, bring them! We stayed over a week. Hubs only complaint was the internet, but they are digging cables in as we speak, so ask if that’s really important to you.

What a great place! The RV sites are nice with the hook-ups right next to the pads for easy set-up. The people are so nice and helpful. The surroundings are rustic looking, but clean and enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
