3 nights at Tiny House + Marina near springs!

Very nice tiny home on the water, loved the sunset and abundant wildlife, gators, turtles, cranes, even saw a momma otter and her two babies. Boat ramp is decent, should be deep enough for boats up to 20ft but it was very shallow in most parts. Just stick to the marked areas. Will definitely be back, great place to unwind and far from the more crowded areas.

1 night at North Shore Relic Ranch

The site was beautiful and very well kept with chairs, fire pit, and lights. The host was very kind and very flexible with us as we arrived late at night and he still met us to guide us to our site. The relics are pretty neat to go see as well as the cows. One thing to note is the mosquitoes are absolutely ruthless out there because it’s in swampy area, so bring loads of strong bug spray.

Weekend Trip to Private Escape on the Lake

Small and quite campground, great for stargazing at night. The host was helpful and very nice to chat with. There are no showers but they to provide water hookups for those quick rinse offs. Lovely view of the lake in front of the property.

Weekend Trip to The Promised Land

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Promise. Just what we were looking for, a quiet place to stop for a day. With the recent dry weather the sand in the wooded area was quite loose though we had no issues getting in and out. I would advise a quick recon on foot before you go in mostly to confirm a route through the woods. There are a couple of options and it’s helpful to know which one works for you. Our stay was brief but enjoyable. Very quiet and heavily shaded site with options to stay in the field before the woods if desired. The shade was welcomed and cut the heat considerably compared to the field. We would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

7 nights at Lakeside RV site

We loved camping on Laura’s land. So peaceful and relaxing. She showed us where to back in and hookup. After that, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was amazing! Beautiful view of the lake. We were able to view 2 rocket launches on the site - amazing views! There was a deer family that visited us every day. We hope to go back very soon!

4 nights at Runaway Bay Lodge

Very chilled and easy experience staying at Runaway Bay Lodge. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Bed very large and comfortable. Nice shower. Lovely watching the sunset over the lake with a nice wood fire going.

I had a great stay! Very comfortable, quiet spot in a cute area. Michael was able to accommodate me last minute and I was able to find the place with no issue. The Disney fireworks were great every night! I will definitely return.

I loved the privacy and view I had. We felt safe and comfortable. We loved this place and hope to stay again.

What a dream this site was!! I took a leap of faith and drove from NY to stay in this site and it was such an amazing experience. Perfectly located close to new Smyrna Beach, Daytona and many attractions in the area. There is a boat launch and a public park within walking distance that you can enjoy, like my family and I did. Laura was a great host, super friendly and very responsive if you have any questions. The site was very private and had plentiful space. A personal dock with kayaks ready for you to use. We will be back again and again and again!

Cadre magnifique, réveil devant le lac dans le fond du terrain avec les animaux sauvages et les petits écureuils. Petit bémol pour la ferme à poulets juste à côté avec un bruit permanent de ventilateur. Cela dit nous avons bien dormis, et nous y avons passé 2 nuits . Great place to relax and adventure! The sites offer so much privacy, far apart and owner kept most trees. Buggy, I'd highly recommend DEET. We will definitely be coming back, everything was perfect. Some awfully friendly cows, too!

Only a scenic 30-minute drive away from the vibrant town of DeLand, there is always something exciting happening on the weekends, like the lively music festival we stumbled upon during our stay. Additionally, the close proximity to De Leon Springs National Park provided the perfect opportunity for a soothing soak in its natural spring. This sanctuary has become our favorite spot for unwinding and enjoying stress-free weekends.

5 J’s Camp is completely private 2.5 acres that backs the Ocala National Forest in Umatilla . This our family getaway, we are a family of 5 and we all have names that start the letter J. There are endless places to put a tent including by the lake, or completely private areas, or by the common areas to be close to a bathroom and kitchen and pavilion, water and electric. The amenities include a pavilion with an outside kitchen, dinning and living area. There is also a ( large shed converted to a ) cook shack with a full size fridge, microwave, electric burners and a toaster oven. There is also a bathroom with a full-size shower/tub, hot water and a toilet. It comes with all of the basics to be comfortable while you camp. Also, you have a good chance of being alone. we usually only book 1 party at a time, Just message me to confirm. The property has enough lighting to completely light up the common area. There is also water and electric all over the property. There is a shooting range right outside of the property that is part of the forest. There is Blue Sink several miles away, it is a spring feed swimming hole that is deep enough for SCUBA. There is horse trails and OHV trails as well. This camp was a hunting camp and still has an huge animal cleaning station on the back side of the property, with water, drainage, power, lighting and all stainless steel sinks and counters. Come to play and explore or come to relax. Our camp is always (slowly)being Improved, you might see work in progress so be aware there may be a consolidated area that looks messy. This is a camp, everything gets dusty, and there are bugs. We keep the yard kept up and do what we can to limit bugs in the common area. I recommend a 4x4 although I don’t own one my self. The roads are usually decent, but the weather has a lot to do with roads in the forest.

The home is within walking distance to an outdoor waterfront restaurant that hosts, on occasion, live music and serves your basic grill style food which includes gator. In addition, the home is adjacent to a full service marina which is great for boating enthusiasts. Being adjacent to the marina renters who bring their own boat, with insurance, have the option to use the Sanford Boat Works facilities which includes their boat ramp, covered docking amenities, fuel dock, and their low key clubhouse that has a well maintained pool and gaming area. The use of the Sanford Boats Works facilities is an additional cost that is paid directly to the Marina. Information can be provided on request. Although the use of the marina is a boon there are public boat ramps not far from the home and more than adequate parking for more than one trailer on the property; therefore, everyone can enjoy the river, Lake Monroe, and even Lake Jessup. In addition, there is room for a family to park their RV without obstructing the view from the home. The possibilities are endless for family fun vacation!
