Absolutely beautiful property very quiet well shaded everything was clean and well manicured. I absolutely adored the chickens, especially the tiny rooster we dubbed scrappy Doo.

This was a beautiful shady setting near the space coast for tent camping on a small property in a nice rural area. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent to make the stay more comfortable.
Potable water and electricity provided was a perk.

I loved camping here. The site was huge. We fit our rent, screen house and shower with plenty of room to spare. Water was readily available. We went to bed to the sound of owls and woke to the sounds of a farm. It was a great experience.

We stayed at Wildfern Campground this past weekend (Friday–Sunday), and it was honestly such a nice camping experience.
The scenery was stunning—especially at night. The way the moonlight shines through the trees is something you have to see in person. The foliage all around the property was gorgeous, and the pond was such a nice touch—it really added to the calm, relaxing vibe.
Our dogs had the best time running around and exploring, which made it even more enjoyable for us. You can tell the hosts take great care of the land—it’s well-kept and just overall a really special.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway.

We love tent camping at Camp Fern, our 3rd time:) beautiful place, friendly chickens, big oak trees, big enough for privacy, close to so many things yet very peaceful and secluded. Bathroom, electricity, and water on site are very helpful. Ragan is an amazing host, always very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend it. We will be back!

Hosts were excellent and very responsive! The site was huge and very lush with the surrounding trees. Loved the visiting chickens and the calling owls. There was an excellent bike trail just a couple of miles from here which made it perfect for a full day of biking. And then also the close proximity to New Smyrna made an excellent second day. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay on their property. It was very quiet, and I greeted by the local owls at night and also in the morning. It was neat to hear them, they definitely know when there’s movement. Also the chickens were curious and friendly. I wished I would’ve asked could I buy some eggs, but I didn’t think about it. There’s a park up the street near a Circle K that I spent some time at, it has some very nice trails to walk. I hope to get back to their property another time in the future.

Very beautiful, large camp spot. Lots of oak trees and ferns of course. Ragan was very friendly and gave us privacy. The site is close to the house just an FYI, but we had no issues with that. They provided a fire pit, nice bench seating and a picnic table. Bathroom was very clean and potable water nearby too.

From the magical Spanish moss covered trees, to the clucking chickens. Everything about this secluded paradise is amazing. Very private and tucked away. My daughter and I spent 2 nights here and had an amazing time. Plenty of room for camping activities and parking right at the camp site is a life saver. Pictures don't do this property justice. You could sit for hours watching owls and birds of all types. Sunrays glimming threw the massive trees is breathtaking. Plenty of shade all day! Will definitely try to make another trip soon.

The place is nice, and easy spot to star camping. Everything was perfect when we arrived and the first night, next day we left and when we came back at afternoon unfortunately there was dog poop in several places, we even step on, that was annoying!

I really enjoyed my tenting experience here. Regan communicated well, and was prompt. He also made sure to give privacy. The yard is a nice natural space, and it's a nice combination of secluded, while still pretty close to the action. Thanks for the nice stay!

Enchanting, quiet, we felt like we were the only ones on the property. The owners provided adapters if we would need them. Was a beautiful setting that provided the perfect respite from 1 month of traveling.

The campsite was large and mostly shaded. Lovely oaks, bamboo and ferns surrounded it. The toilet is simply a portapotty but the little shelter it’s in is clean and nice looking. It’s not a problem for rustic campers. The hose for water isn’t really far. We had a collapsible bucket, which was helpful. We also have a portable shower bag that we hung from a tree to use as a sink. We were on site 1 and there were two trees that were at a perfect distance for a hammock, we didn’t bring one but next time we will. Site 2 was at a comfortable distance but if someone wanted to camp with friends it would be a good site for two families.
Ragan was quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything.
Merritt Island wildlife preserve is about a 20 min. Drive and it’s beautiful. We highly recommend it. The Kennedy space center is close too.

We loved the site at Wild Fern! Beautiful area with plenty of space. The hosts were wonderful and provided everything we needed. The chickens were a bit annoying while we were cooking trying to steal our food, but we will be back!
