The property was beautiful. It was nice and quiet but still close enough to some things to do. Very private setting even though you can see the house. Would absolutely recommend it and stay there again.

The place is nice, and easy spot to star camping. Everything was perfect when we arrived and the first night, next day we left and when we came back at afternoon unfortunately there was dog poop in several places, we even step on, that was annoying!

I really enjoyed my tenting experience here. Regan communicated well, and was prompt. He also made sure to give privacy. The yard is a nice natural space, and it's a nice combination of secluded, while still pretty close to the action. Thanks for the nice stay!

Awesome place. Lush, tropical, serene.... the vibes are super bright, warm, & calming. Hosts even offer privacy if that's what you're going for. The pup loved being able to free roam the property every day! ☀️🌿🪵

Enchanting, quiet, we felt like we were the only ones on the property. The owners provided adapters if we would need them. Was a beautiful setting that provided the perfect respite from 1 month of traveling.

The campsite was large and mostly shaded. Lovely oaks, bamboo and ferns surrounded it. The toilet is simply a portapotty but the little shelter it’s in is clean and nice looking. It’s not a problem for rustic campers. The hose for water isn’t really far. We had a collapsible bucket, which was helpful. We also have a portable shower bag that we hung from a tree to use as a sink. We were on site 1 and there were two trees that were at a perfect distance for a hammock, we didn’t bring one but next time we will. Site 2 was at a comfortable distance but if someone wanted to camp with friends it would be a good site for two families.
Ragan was quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything.
Merritt Island wildlife preserve is about a 20 min. Drive and it’s beautiful. We highly recommend it. The Kennedy space center is close too.

We loved the site at Wild Fern! Beautiful area with plenty of space. The hosts were wonderful and provided everything we needed. The chickens were a bit annoying while we were cooking trying to steal our food, but we will be back!

What a beautiful spot this was. We had site #1. There are 3 sites and they were full yet it seemed private. Had everything we love about FL.... ferns, live oaks, palms, palmetto.

The site was lovely, quiet and private. We loved to see the chicken roaming around. Our tent site was by a pond and the sounds of owls talking back and forth was spectacular. We enjoyed the wooded setting, and even though there were other campers, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We would definitely go back. Unfortunately we never got to meet our hosts. We have loved to thank them personally! Will recommend them 🤗

We had a great visit. The place is beautiful and makes you feel like you are camping in the country. We screwed up our travel dates and showed up a day early and our host made our stay happen even though we were there early. They were very accommodating with all of our needs. While there we were able to take in a Space Launch which was a bucket list item. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Big area with 3 campsites under live oaks and 3 ponds. Very scenic and secluded. 30 amp outlet. Water up by the house. Nice folks. The camper outhouse is very clean and unique. One of those portable toilets but works fine.

Felt like we were in a lush oasis and really enjoyed the spot. Danny greeted us and provided firewood twice while we were there. Even with campers in the spot next to us and the house nearby, we felt like we had plenty of privacy in site #1. Loved the chickens roaming in the afternoon and, like others, heard the lovely owls in the evening. We did use a few gallons of water while we were there which was easy to find, too. Nice roads to walk our pup on.

Loved loved the place. Beautiful. It’s in the forest. The chickens, the super friendly dogs that came and greeted us, the giant bamboo, amazing oak trees. The absolutely thing that I could have wished for was better cell service. It’s close enough to Orlando to pick up local channels and watched the football games last night. For an extra $5.00 you can plug in. It’s a 110 or 30 amp connection.
Complete surprise and will go back!!

We (4 adults) stayed two nights at Site 1 (there are two). Wild Fern is wonderful. Hosts were respectful and attentive upon arrival. Site felt private. We had one camper van a couple of hammocks and a tent. The fire pit area is beautiful, huge fire ring. Best we've seen yet. Yes, it's someones yard, but the tree canopy and surrounding Florida palms, bamboo and brush quickly remind you you why you are here. Had some rain, but the ground drained surprisingly well, no standing water.Love this gem in Mims. User experience was exceptional. :)

Privacy could be improved. The hosts were awesome and the sites are beautiful....but you're basically in the home's front yard (pics and description don't reflect this). There are almost 7 acres of property so spacing them out more away from the house would be much better.
The site has a huge fire pit (but we had bought our own) and a picnic table. Electric (an extension cord) was provided so that made phone charging more convenient.
The site was overall very peaceful. Some road noise could be heard from US1 but it was very minor. Saturday morning we could hear the train somewhere nearby coupling and decoupling cars. This was a loud banging sound that stirred us out of a deep sleep.
