Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living. We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Scalloping season begins June 15 this year and runs to September. Oyster season lasts all winter. TSBee is situated on 5 acres of an old ruin-pine tree stand. The long, narrow swath of land was gifted as a wedding present to the first residents. The young family moved into their grandmother's house upon her death.
The land and home was sold to the second family, a single mom with three daughters, and two granddaughters. The current land owners are second generation, with third generation residents. 2022 is TSBee RV base camp's 2nd year of development. We are around an hour and half from Gainesville, FL. Jacksonville, FL. Tallahassee, (state capitol) FL. & Valdosta, GA.

Our basecamp is quaint, quit, and semi forested. We have cleared five 12'x45', level, natural earth slips with small engine and walking trails. There is a fenced, mini dog park for off-leash time. Tuff Southern Belle equine estates, has a forested wildlife area with equestrian-pedestrian only trails. We are minutes from world-class cave diving, fresh water springs, and Suwannee river memories. We are centrally located (about 1½ hours) to Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Tallahassee (state capitol). This farm has been in my family since the early 60's. I purchased it from my Mom in 2011 after my Dad passed away, hoping and wanting to improve it for the enjoyment of others. It's always been a Fun Place for my family and I feel like it would be a Fun place for your family also. It is a Pine Tree farm with fish ponds, walking trail and is friendly to a lot of different kinds of activities. It's located across the street from the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, home of several 4 day music event during the year.Learn more about this land:Planted pine-trees with Grand-daddy Live Oak Trees. Two stocked fishing ponds with and extra pond hidden under another group of old cypress and oak trees. Good walking and bike paths. Golf-carts and side-by-sides welcome. Across the street from the Spirit of Suwanee Music Park, home of the largest country music festival in the South. One mile to the banks of the Suwanee River and Suwanee Springs. State owned property within 3/4 mile with extra hiking trails. Canoe Outpost is located across the street which offers a full line of canoe excursions rentals from 4 hour trips to overnight trips and they provide all the gear (tents, canoes, and safety equipment)

The Retreat

We are located on about 2 acres of wooded land filled oak trees. After a short walk down the trail you will find your cozy vardo wagon and spacious camp site with clean composting outhouse, water tower sink, fully net enclosed 10x10 tent platform, brick fireplace and hammock.
Vardo shepherds hut is set up for electric with generator with AC and heater, although can be enjoyed off grid as well. *Generator available for additional gas and set up fee*
Nightly price with shepherds hut is 100$ and 65$ for tent site alone.
Lake Adam’s and Pickett are just a short scenic 5 minute walk to the other end of the road where boating and fishing are encouraged. Adam’s is on the right and Pickett on the left. Please feel free to walk the property, as there are natural game trails throughout. Always be safe in the woods due to this being animals and insects homes as well:) Land has been cleared at campsite and main trail. There is room at the entrance for two vehicles before the trail starts. Borders of land are marked.

As part of our renewed focus, we’ve teamed up with the 🍄 Mushroom Network to establish a robust mushroom genetics database. This work aids in the preservation and expansion of the field of mycology. Upon entering the Retreat, you’ll find a special area covered in high-quality landscaping fabric, dedicated to the cultivation of various gourmet mushrooms. When you are here, it feels like you are in your own private forest! This spot typically accommodates RV/Trailers but we do allow campers to book this site as well.

FInd you bliss on Moonlit Avenue!

A private treelined driveway leads to the back of the property to the primitive campsite where the deer have a regular route along with other forest animals. Goats, chickens (including a rooster), dogs and cats are domesticated nearby.
Birds especially love this area and the serenade gets better each year with a wide variety of bird songs. Owls reside nearby and bats have also been known to fly in the sundowning sky! Make sure to bring your blankets for sitting around the campfire and stargazing as temps still get into the 50s and 60s overnight.
Whether you're in need of forest bathing, a dip in real fresh spring water (always around 70F or 21C degrees year round!) or looking to explore by water or land, this is a great location for a base to launch from and enjoy nearby fresh water swimming, paddling, boating or fishing via public parks and private outfitters. Close to Gilchrist Blue Springs and Ichetucknee State Parks, Rum Island Park, and Ginnie Springs Recreation Park.
You can enjoy this private and serene primitive camping area in a forested riverfront neighborhood with a great public boat ramp a short walk away. The camping site is about one-half acre with cleared areas for tents and vehicles. A picnic table and two fire rings are provided; one has a grill. Spring well water access currently via hose. BATHHOUSE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

The location provides easy access to all the area's rivers and springs, to paddle, swim or fish as well as great shops and restaurants in nearby High Springs or visit our newest addition, The Collective Food Truck Park in nearby Fort White.
Check out one of our favorite neighbors, Rum 138 @ Rum138.com! They offer rentals for kayaks and canoes, provide shuttle services and have the latest info on best places to visit on the Santa Fe River. They also host live music and a farmers market on Sunday mornings. Whether you're looking for information or even local art work about the area springs and rivers, or just a cold beer on a hot afternoon, Rum 138 has it all!

Fort White, Florida was constructed in 1836 as a military fort during the Second Seminole War. The purpose of the fort was to protect the Cow Creek Settlement. Supplies were brought up the Santa Fe River by steamboat and were distributed from Fort White to other nearby forts and settlers.
The Town of Fort White is located directly off several main thoroughfares; US Hwy. 27, US Hwy. 47, and CR 18, near several State Parks, three (3) major rivers, and crystal-clear springs, some with underwater caves all of which provide many recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing, swimming, diving, spelunking, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, bird watching, hiking, biking, etc.
Nearby historic High Springs, with a population of about 6,000, is home to a thriving downtown, community parks and is better known as the gateway to the rivers and springs in the area. The area is also a prized location internationally for underwater cave diving.
Bones of prehistoric mammals and tools of paleo-Indians have been recovered from springs and rivers near High Springs. Hernando de Soto led his expedition through this area around 1539, and in the 17th-century Indian villages and a large Spanish mission flourished near the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers.
