The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Camp site was perfect. All hookups worked flawlessly and had plenty of room for rig, car, and activties. We had a fabulous time! Stayed a week with our pup, and besides the sand spurs along the path to the beach, (planning to bring puppy shoes for our next stay) she had so much fun. We ate at local restaurant, Hunts, and had delicious oysters and grouper - dog friendly on their porch. Would reccomend and will stay again.

Kokomo Farms is such a refreshing and magical escape from reality! 🌿✨ There’s so much to do and explore, and getting up close with the animals and feeding them treats is such a sweet experience. The greenhouse is beautiful, with so many plants for sale! The gentleman who welcomes you is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. Weekend Trip to The Wandering Path

This place is amazing. I went for the first time camping alone with my daughter and our two dogs. Doing it all by myself was a huge undertaking, but I’m so proud I did it. The camp grounds are very well maintained, our spot was completely shared which I loved. Later in the evening temperatures cooled and we were able to have such a fun time. The host is very aware of what is needed and making sure everyone is having a good time. There’s running water bathrooms and showers and that’s just so nice especially during warm weather. The river is so close, the water is so refreshing! Just amazing! We loved it and would do again!

7 nights at Gulf Coast RV Site

Let’s start with THE VIEW! Oh my word! It is stunning! The large deck is the perfect place to be all day! We saw so much wildlife - fiddler crabs, fish, Egrets, Hawks, and more. If you have a good clear sky at night, turn off all your camper lights and go outside and look at the stars! Amazing! The site accommodated our 36ft camper with slides on both slides comfortably. We had to back it in at an angle to reach all the hook ups, but it worked nicely. We were looking for a week of rest, relaxation and disconnection from the world, and that is exactly what we found. If you need internet, you need to have Starlink or some other service. We have T-Mobile, and we were able to use our phones all week, but our hot spot was not reliable, but since we were looking for a quiet week, this was perfect! The hosts are great! Communicated well! Very accommodating! We can’t wait to come back!

Kelly’s RV campsite was exactly as described in the posting. Directions to site were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Location was great for accessing the beach and local town activities and restaurants. Will reserve at this location again and again!
