We are a 20 minute drive from the Villages which offers shopping, dining, and activities, as well as 20 minutes to historic Mount Dora which is a beautiful artsy downtown village. The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

This was a very quiet and clean campground. Surprisingly no mosquitoes at all over our stay. Bathrooms and pool were both very clean. it was fantastic having Lake Kissimmee State Park just a short bike ride away.

AMAZING!!! I can't say enough honestly. Our family goes to Orlando a couple times a year and have always stayed at the bigger campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, Margaritaville, etc. This was the most quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in Orlando. The people that are there we so nice and polite, and it didn't even seem like we were in the city at all. The site set up is awesome and the hot tub was my kids highlight lol. I will return over and over. The convenience of the location is near perfect to everything. Ginger was superb, and helpful with recommendations nearby as it was my wife's birthday. We can't thank you enough. Bottom line, AMAZING!!!!

2 nights at Picturesque Mango Tango Estate

Matthew was great. It is a little tight getting into the spot but wonderful when you get there. I used the provided sewer hose which was the easiest hookup ever. My 25' water hose was not quite long enough but I could have moved my camper to make it work. Instead I went to a nearby store for an extension. This quiet campsite at the beautiful lake is close to shopping for anything you might need for supplies. It's the best of both worlds.

5 nights at Wilderness Shores Ranch Campground!

We loved Wilderness Shores. The amount of wildlife we saw was just incredible. SO many birds, we witnessed an alligator eating a fish, a bald eagle swooped near our site! There was plenty of space and the kids loved petting the goats and seeing the longhorns graze. The sites are surrounded by old growth live oaks that are so beautiful. We have spent a year traveling and camping in various places and this was one of our favorites.

We loved staying one night at site 420. It was beautiful and peaceful, and we had everything we needed. Hooking up the water and power was very easy. We also really enjoyed the outdoor shower, the BBQ, and the sounds of the birds and animals around the pond.

If you love "old Florida", this is the perfect spot off the beaten path but close to Mt. Dora. Very wooded camp sites with huge old oak trees. Quiet and relaxing. At night, the frogs and crickets will put you to sleep. James was a wonderful host and there if you need anything. It was fun to walk around the Relic Ranch and see all the cool things they have collected. The campground itself is a large loop you can walk around under the trees. The boat ramp and trail are a very short walk to the end of the road just outside the campground. I will definitely be back!

This trip was for my daughters 5th birthday since she's been jealous of my older son getting to do camping with his dad and she hasn't . She loved it! The hosts were so kind and even decorated the camp site for my girls birthday.

Great little spot for us visiting legoland but feels like it could be pretty packed if all of the spots are booked as they are right beside each other. The animals were a nice add-on being able to see them and pet the goats when they were out.

Christie’s camp was great! Beautiful level, private grassy spot under mossy oak trees. Quiet location conveniently located to the east of Orlando. Electricity and water available. Might need a long hose. We would absolutely come back again our travels to us this way!

4 nights at The Promised Land

The land was beautiful with lots of trees for shade from the sun. The ground was sandy as you would expect for Florida. there were lots of decent private spots to set up camp. The host were exceptional and welcoming, They made sure I had watever I needed. 10 out of 10, I would definetly recommend.

Christy was kind and helpful. She even loaned me a longer cable, because I forgot mine at home. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Great night's sleep in a peaceful setting! And I enjoyed a lovely morning walk!
