Summit lake is 1/4 mile away, a short and easy walk. Great fishing and a nice beach.

San Juan Quality Waters in the San Juan River offers world class fishing. The Animas River offers fun river floats. Chaco Canyon National Park is only 2 hours away.
In Colorado, we are about an hour from these attractions: Mesa Verde National Park, McPhee Reservoir, Canyon of the Ancients, Lake Nighthorse Day Use Recreation area, Chimney Rock and Purgatory Ski Resort. La Plata Canyon has great mountain hiking and is only 30 minutes away.

Your private Bathhouse offers two sinks, two showers, two toilets, an outdoor shower and an outdoor sink for your dishes. The Orchard, with its young fruit trees and wildflowers, is your private garden.
The Property
You'll have access to roam much of this 38 acre property which includes a hay farm, cliffside and clifftop trail and a section of McElmo Creek. We just ask that folks stay away from the private residence on site, which is well-marked.
We love pets and kids but due to the Wildlife with a capital W (and the occasional skunk) with whom we share this land we must limit our guests to humans ages 8 and up.
Southwest Colorado is a land of extremes. We get hot, cold and everything in between. The tents are canvas so we offer electric blankets and small space heaters for colder days, and fans for the warmer days. And in advance, we apologize for the high cleaning fee. When you're here you'll understand why with the large showerhouse and all its windows, the large canvas tents and big decks, etc.

Great spot for an overnight in Blanding! The spaces were all well lit and clearly marked. My neighbors were respectful. I was very impressed with how clean the bathroom was; I've spent many a night with poorly maintained facilities and it shows when hosts take care of their property. The proximity to Blanding (with a grocery store and wellness center where I could shower) makes this site a gem. I will absolutely be booking in the future! 10/10!

We loved the quiet, yet close to town. And a serendipitous aspect of this campground is just down the road is a natural bridge (just like over in Natural Bridges National Monument) and an ancient pueblan ruin (just like over in Natural Bridges National Monument) .

We enjoyed our time at the camp. Basing out of the camp, we explored Bears Ears monument and visited numerous archaeological sites. There is even a series of cliff dwellings within walking distance. The road that passes the camp is a dead-end and has very little traffic so the camp was quiet and relaxing. We would return when back in the area.

Other than one other camper in a tent, there was nobody else in the campground. It was very quiet and got the best nights rest of our trip so far. Found a cactus plant nearby that was in full bloom brilliant red and beautiful. The Porta potty was actually quite clean and found it to be in one of the more desirable conditions of any porta potty I’ve used.

Jake's bike ranch is super cool and he is a generous, kind, and welcoming host. You can ride right out of your campsite onto some sweet blue trails with great views. There's even a creek below the camp where you can walk your dog. Plenty of shade under the cedars in camp.

Great view! Book campsites 1 to 4 to have the best view. Sites are close together but its a good spot. You can hear traffic from main road, but it was a PERFECT spot for a quick nights sleep on the way from Moab to Monument Valley.
