Ramble welcomes you to our private campground - Ramble at Mesa Verde National Park! We are located a 15-minute drive from the park. Located in Southwestern Colorado, Mesa Verde, "Green Table" in Spanish, National Park offers an unparalleled opportunity to see and experience a unique cultural and physical landscape. Ramble is a dog friendly campground and we have an off leash dog park onsite for your buddies to roam.

Adventure Campsite - Tents and Vans (Sleeps 1 to 4 guests) Reserve an Adventure Campsite for easy access to Phil’s World trailhead straight from your campsite. Each campsite includes a canvas shelter, picnic furniture for 2-4 guests, a Camp Chef stove and grill, and a Solo Stove smokeless fire pit. These walk-in sites are dispersed in between juniper trees 100 feet of distance from neighboring campsites. Hot semi-outdoor showers, flushing toilets and firewood are a 3-5 minute walk away. Only one vehicle is allowed per campsite, and RVs, trailers, or large recreational vehicles are not permitted at Adventure Campsites (check out other site types for availability if you are bringing something larger than a car or camper van). Note: There is an overflow parking lot at the Welcome Center, but guests can not camp there.

This camp was INCREDIBLE!! Clean… soooo many wonderful amenities! After two weeks of camping, hiking, etc… the lovely flush bathrooms and the free hot, wonderful showers were awesome! The best part??… THE HOSTS! Betty & Albert could not be more helpful, friendly, and accommodating! They keep that camp spotless! I can’t say enough good things about RAMBLE!! It’s also just a short drive from Mesa Verde… very pet friendly… and quiet!

Of the bat the host was super helpful with everything! Let us charge our portable battery, showed us around, and every dropped off/picked up us up from the theater outside. Super pet friendly. Hot showers and drinking water in the center camp. Potable water available around the campsites.

We had a great stay! The hosts were incredibly nice and even upgraded our campsite for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. The campsite itself was cozy and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. At night, the sky was filled with stars, making for a beautiful and peaceful view. The shower and bathroom facilities were also very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend!

What stood out the most for us was the Al the caretaker.. He made our time there extra special.. very helpful and ensures you are having a wonderful stay.. In my opinion I feel the price for a night stay here is very cheap for all the amenities you receive.. I stayed with my daughter and Granddaughter Ezra on one of our passing by from Park to Parks and we stayed an extra night.. We were sad to say goodbye. I highly recommend this campsite and look forward to returning one days.. Thank you Al for your hospitality.. You made our little Ezra extra happy..

Super cute! Brand new site, everything was pristine. Camp host and Hank (the little pup) were so friendly! Loved all of the thoughtful amenities - self pay swag station, gear rental, full wi-fi, solar lights everywhere, etc. The tent site was perfect leveled 👌 The showers were hot, flawless design, hip, fully stocked with soaps and shampoo. The desert vibe was present, as was the sunset over the hills in the distance. Highly recommend.

Great camp site at Ramble! The amenities are incredible: showers are hot and reliable, there are thoughtful elements at each site, and grills. There's immediate access to excellent hiking/biking trails that we used daily. Plus, views of mountains nearly 360 degrees. Wow! We'll return for sure.

Amazing camp ground and site. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager as we pulled into the camp ground. The site had everything we needed for comfort: level tent site for at least 2 tents, parking spot for our van, water and cooking appliances, install tarp over picnic table and a hammock. We were also able to but firewood for our own private fire pit. Had the luxury of access to drinking water, bathrooms and showers. A special location for sure.
