Camp, ride, explore, rinse, repeat!
I had an awesome 3-night stay at the Zuma Bike Ranch. It was easy to find and access my campsite in my camper van. The place is quiet, and the dark skies made for great stargazing. The mountain bike skills area is great for practicing what you know or warming up before hitting the trails. I had a great time on the jump line and drop zone, conveniently located on the ranch. Several of the ranch's trails lead into Phil's World, and you can get in a couple of days exploring the trails there without having to move your vehicle. Hikers will also have a great experience since there is so much there to explore on foot or bike.
After riding, you can use the outdoor shower with hot water to clean up. It was amazing! The port-a-potty was immaculate and a real convenience.
Downtown Dolores was worth the visit. Great restaurants, a coin laundry mat, Dolores Food Market, and Dolores Bike and Skatepark. Also, Mancos is a must-see, do, and eat. I ran out of time before I ran out of things to do and see there.
I highly recommend Zuma Bike Ranch if you're looking for more than just a campsite!
